A motion has been made and seconded to adopt the following Act of the Ecclesia:

The Guillotine Act.

Article 1: The Lottery

1. Every Primidi the Citizen-Initiator will draw a lottery of a random citizen, and the selected citizen will stand trial for anti-civil activity. On months with a Citoyenide, an additional lottery will be held then.
2. The chosen citizen's acquittal can only be granted by a two-thirds vote of the Ecclesia.
3. If the Ecclesia finds the citizen guilty, they shall be executed by guillotine on the following Jocidi at the Place de la Révolution in the Zocalo.
4. If the Citizen-Initiator does not draw a lottery then they shall face summary execution.

Article 2: Elected Citizens

1. Elected citizens are as defined here as any office elected by the Ecclesia; including, but not limited to, the Citizen-Initiator, Citizen-Delegate, and Dean of the University of the Glorious Revolution, and any citizen appointed to an office by an elected official; including, but not limited to, the Citizen-Diplomat and Citizen-Liaison.
2. The elected citizens will be executed by guillotine at the end of their terms.

Citizens may vote for or against the measure or abstain from voting. Voting will last for five days. The original discussion can be found here.
