Today the rebels on Khalifan Island have grown more bold in there moves.  They have sacked the small village of Ruytan and are now marching towards Greenhoru.  Military aid is requested immeditely.

8 hours after the above message has been sent.......

Captain Abdullah was surveying the road from Ruytan to Greenhoru what had started out as a small protest had now led to an all out revolt.  He looked and saw a dust cloud over the horizon.  He swore when he saw that there must be at least two thousand.  He gathered his small band of 50 soldiers and prepared to defend Greenhoru with all that he had.......

In 30 minutes the small force of soldiers were destroyed.  Amir ibn Jaffar got in his air plane and watched as the Islan of Khalifan was now completely in rebel hands.

So what was the cause of the protest?

OOC: Sorry I meant to finish but I did not get to finish.

IC:  One Week after the above has happened.

The Rebels have overrun the Northern portion of Tagirstan.  The city of Rusqnet was the last major city in the north.  There a young general named John and his small band of soldiers held the city.

A scout came running to the General and gasped.  "Sir rebels are approaching from the East.  around 400 of them.  General John looked at his band of about 100 soliders and shouted "Give them Hell!"

A couple hors later General John and his forces lay dead in the mud.  All the major cities in Northern Tagirstan lay in the hands of the rebels.  What had started out as a small protest on religious diffrences was now a full blown civil war.

The people of Northern Tagirstan have protested and overrun several cities in the North of my Kingdom.  The Tagirstanian army is not an effective military force since the past monarch of Tagirstan have cut military funding.  These protest are from a large Muslim community who is enraged by King Tarih's eldest daughter's conversion to Christianity.  For the past 5 generations the entire royal family has been Muslims with the exception of King Tarih's deceased brother Peter.  We ask the nations of Taijitu for help in reaffiming peace in Tagirstan.

Sincerely,
King Tarih al-Rashid ibn Gamal al-Tagmenrac

The Committee of the Wise were having a closed-doors meeting.

But the shouts could be heard from the outside.

"Why under the Underworld have you waited until today to bring us the message?", grunted Wise Tolvar Krakston, jumping on his chair in order to level his height with the rest of the people in the room.

"I have already told you", Wise Kumba Ba replied, showing the palms of his four black hands, "I had to reinstall the operating system due to a virus attack and then I had problems to access my e-mail account". The big man crossed his four arms under the purple sleeves of his tunic. "Anybody in this room could have read the message, it's a shared account, isnt' it?", he inquired, looking at nobody in particular.

"We were very busy with our previous concerns, which you don't have", Wise Tolvar replied, his face red with anger.

"Calm, calm", interrupted Wise Kronelirius in a soft melifluous voice, "That does not matter anymore. In fact, it is a good opportunity for us to gain an ally, if we support them first".

Un uncomfortable silence filled the room for several seconds.

"You mean... bringing troops there?", Wise Makalate Tlanakasi shrieked, shaking her ponytail in disbelief.

"That's a great idea", Wise Kumba Ba shouted, showing his perfectly white teeth.

  Another uncomfortable silence.

"The citizens don't want to be engaged in a war", Wise Makalate argued, "Supporting wars not only makes allies, but also enemies".

"There will be no enemies this time", Wise Kumba Ba replied, "We are fighting the rebels".

"And what if the rebels win?", Wise Tolvar croaked, "There would be a new government in that case", he assured.

"Then we must ensure that King Tarih is victorious", Wise Makalate said, "It is time to vote, we must take a decission".

Two hours later, a message was sent to the King of Tagirstan:

I thank the nations of Taijitu for their support in the Tagirstanian Civil War.  All help is greatly appreciated.  The actions of my father King Gamal al-Akbar have felf the Army weakened.  Our goverment will implement a leftist monarchy if we endure the civil war.  If we lose Islamic fanatics will control Tagirstan.  For the good of all Taijitu we must pervail victorious.  The port city of Garan at 700W and 1550N is still under royal control.  Most area north of 800W is under rebel control.  The Rebels have named Rusqunet their capital and declared themselves The Islamic Republic of Tagastan.
Sincerely.
King Tarih al-Rasid ibn Gamal al-Tagmenrac

King Tarih was walking through his gardens.  He heard a rustling in the bushes and stammered "Who is there?"  "Allah's vengance!" a deep voice proclaimed.  The next moment King Tarih was laying in a pool of blood gasping for breath.  Luckily a guard walked by and happened to carry the king to safety while the other guards shot the assassain.  King Tarih layed in ICU for two weeks before he was deemed healthy enough to leave the bed.  The situation was quickly deteroationg.

Chancellor of the Chinese Loyalist,

Our country would like to extend an open invitation to your king, offering him asylum in our country if he so choose to. We believe that your monarch would be safer if he were to be secretly airlifted into our protection. He may come when ever he chooses to, as long as he advise our emissary.

On a side note, is our foreign emissary currently safe from the rebels?

The recent attempt on His majesty's life has caused a lot of concern.  It was generally assumed that Tagshknet was to far south of the conflict to be affected.  The Tagirstanian Emmissary Palace's protection has been increased as well as the Royal Palace.  King Tarih wishes to remain with his people.  HRH Princess Anaissa is in grave danger as is HRH Prince Amir.  The Tagirstanian goverment askes the naitions of Taijitu to offer the royal and Queen Laliya assylum.

Sincerely,
Grand Vizier Noor al-Farouk

King Tarih managed to get out of bed.  He was strolling down the palace corridors surroned by twenty guards.  When a courier caming running to him.  The guards pointed thier weapons and asked "what is your buissness with His majesty?"  The courier replied A mesage for hi-his majesty."  "Very well" said the guard.  Your  Ma-Majesty Preside-nt Muhammad wishes to talk.  He is hear in Tagshknet now!"  King Tarih sighed a breath of relif maybe this will be over soon.  "Sending to my Throne Room." said King Tarih.

15 minutes later.........

President Muhammad stalked up to the throne and King Tarih.  "Kill the whore!" growled Muhammad.  Taken back King Tarih stammered "exuce me?"  "The whore who abonded Allah's word give us her head and we will submit to your rule again.  If not then Allah's will have his vengance on all of house Tagmenrac and Tagirstan."  With that he turned and left.  King Tarih set there in shock.

We wish to open our market for trade with Feniexia.  It is his majesty wish that we also warn you.  The Islamic Republic of Tagastan may claim they will resolve the conflict with the death of HRH Princess Anaissa but they are terroist.  We have spies in Rusqunet who have confirmed the fact that the rebels wish to declare a region wide Jihad.  It is our belif that if the rebels prevail in Tagirstan they will turn their attention to Feniexia.  These terroist must be stopped before more life is lost in Taijitu.

Sincerely,
Grand Vizier Noor al-Farouk

His majesty King Tarih sends his utmost thanks.  Tagirstan shall remember the how Salestia helped her in our time of need.

Sincerely,
Grand Vizier Noor al-Farouk

At 1:00 am Tagirstanian time a plane silently descended unto the runway of the King Farik airport.  A small group of five people were huddled outside of the plane one was in a wheel chair.  King Tarih looked at his children "Anaissa President Barga has offered you and your brother political assylum in Salestia."  Anaissa broke into to tears "father I am sorry I did this I am so sorry."  Young Prince Amir grabbed his mother and said "No! I don't wanna go!".  His mother smiled sadly and said "you have to go."  Tarih looked back at his daughter and said "you will be queen in Tagirstan when I am gone be brave for your brother."  The 14 year old girl read the unspoken if we win the war in her father's expression.  The royal children were put on the plane.  Price Amir screamed and cried untill he was saftely fastened into his seat.  The plane rose into the air and King Tarih and Queen Laliya both looked at each other wondering if they would live to see their children return to their home.  The Grand Vizier pushed King Tarih back into the palace.  Queen Laliya followed silently weeping.

The King's health improves with each passing day.  He was able to attend Friday prayers.  The content of this message is unknown to his majesty.  The catastrophe that struck could be to much for him to take at the moment.  Our spies had reports the the rebels have been amking weapons for terror.  Today we have conformation of this.  In the city of Ragani which is predominately Hindu in belief 4 explosions went of in the largest Hindu temple in Tagirstan.  it is estimated that as many as 6,000 people are dead with over 2,300 people reported missing.  Rajani is around 400 miles north of Tagshknet.  We do not believe that this will happen in our capital.  The rebels seem to be targeting religious minorities.  Tagshknet is a predominately Muslim city.

Sincerley,
Grand Vizier Noor al-Farouk
