My fledgling nation was sent a most sweet and concise recruitment telegram...I am definitly curious to learn more about this region; for starters, how do most inhabitants pronounce its name?
-
Its so holy it can not be mentioned...
-
Most inhabitants can't. I can't even spell it!
To get around this little problem, most people just refer to us as "The Region!" (Note capitals).
Anyway, perhaps a welcome waffle will help with your pronunciation.
-
Or just call it home?
-
Welcome!

Hello and Welcome to Taijitu, B9! :drunks:
-
Thank you all for your warm and waffle welcomes...I have pledged to do my utmost to neither pronounce or try to spell the name of this Region..This seems a suitable respect to honor the Founder, who CTE'd 69 minutes ago...
Where might one look to obtain an account of the history of this region?
-
Hey and welcome in Taijitu. I think I just saw you in IRC today.
Enjoy.
-
yep, that was me, thanks...
-
My mistake, I forgot to greet you here.
Hello and welcome. Taijitu is not right for everyone. Please consult your Doctor before trying Taijitu. If you persist on the forum for more than 24 hours, contact your local hospital immediately.

Or option two - stumble around posting as much as you can everywhere with total nothingness...
:D
-
I tried a combo approach of the two recommendations; reading and rereading instructions and posting everywhere I could possibly imagine, that might drum up some activity.
A trickle of responses....am discovering albeit slowly that tickling Taijitu is rather like a doctor tapping your toes with a pin to see if the nerve connection is totally numb. I refrain from hammering Tai's knee with a mallot for fear of a big kick.

Remember that this is still a hobby for people who have jobs and other stuff outside the forum
-
Yes, how could I forget? After all, I have a job and the forum is a hobby for me as well. After playing NS or some years, with folks who work, have children, attend schools and universities, are stationed overseas etc..I'm somewhat familiar, believe me, that this is a game.

Are we just a game to you, B9?
