Salutations,

Most here, it appears, are new to NS when they join. I, however, am an old enough hand at this to know how most things work in the game. Therefore let me explain my purpose for being here. Out of all the regions in NS yours looked so well organised [Non-American spelling] I could not but create a puppet and move right in.

For those who may be interested, my main nation is in The Black Market and is known as The Golden Pimpernel. It is currently SecState there. I have a few other puppets, some much older than TGP.

In conclusion, I am very happy to be here and I hope you enjoy my company.

Hi Oberon,

It's lovely to have a player around who's new to Taijitu but experienced in the game; I'm sure we will enjoy your company, indeed.  Anywho, feel free to look around and explore the forum.  There's something for everyone here and we love to see people jumping right into discussions or games.  ^_^

Thank you all for both your greetings and random profanities.

And my name does not come from anywhere in particular. Well Shakespeare, kind of. Oberon (midsummer-nights dream) was king of the faeries who manipulated all the main characters to the extent of having one fall in love with the sight another dressed in a donkey suit. So I figured, why not adopt the name of a controlling, power-hungry literary character? And my first power-hungry move was to declare myself a Lord, ergo Lord Oberon.

As to Twitchy's over-possessive nature, I promise this: If I ever have your spam-queen cheat on you, I will never let you know about it. Good enough?
Well I've got to go spam al...Al Gore...yeah...so I'll just  *dashes off*
