Greetings all.
I was made aware of The Free Region of Taijitu by Red Kagran and Flemingovia. RK contacted me by email and Flem is a good, old friend. I would like very much to lurk, wander around your forums and learn about your Region.

I am honored and very glad to have you in our region, even as an observer. Please let me know if I can do anything to help make your stay here more pleasant, and, perhaps longer. As we didn't get the chance to experience Lemuria in the old days and perhaps become friends, I hope we can do the same with the individual Lemurians we have the chance to know. I look forward to getting to learn more about you, as I am sure you are curious about us.

I have recently reactivated my primary nation and started accessing The West Pacific, The North Pacific, and Lemurian forums -- as well as that for the Order of Gryphons, the brotherhood of knights I began years ago and would like to eventaully revitalize.
As far as making more stay pleasant, whatever guidance you can provide toward which threads to read would be greatly appreciated.

Very interesting, judging from just the first few entries. I'll read the rest soon enough. The nation of New Thyatira, while it is not within the region of Taijitu, maintains an extremely large military -- for peace-keeping endeavors. The OHV Righteousness is the flagship of the fleet and has appeared in at least 2 other forums -- the TNP of old, and also the Lemurian site, if I'm not mistaken. It has been a while.
Ships such as the OHV Chalice and OHV Ciborium have operated in relief efforts -- especially in the relocation of refugees in times past. And the OHV Thumiaterion offers Fire Support when and where needed.
OHV, btw, stands for Our Holy Vessel.

Taijitu has a thriving RP section. Never got the hang of it myself.

Hello and welcome! Lurk away! Of course, as I've already come across a couple posts of yours elsewhere it would seem you're doing less lurking and more actual participating. This is excellent, however, so please continue and enjoy.
As far as threads to read go, I recommend threads that keep you updated on forum member relationships. Like this one (http://forum.taijitu.org/games/the-wedding-of-the-beauties/0/), perhaps. ;)

Yes. My nation and I myself are both ancient. I started in TNP back in the Blackshear days -- before the pirate invasion even. I have been on extended hiatus from the game twice, the first time due to computer problems and this most recent time because of my health.
I'm not sure what sort of history you might expect to glean. But I am willing to chat about it.

And another welcome from me, Thyatira. Personally, I recommend the entire General section because it gives you a good feel for the people who post most often here. We have our serious discussions and then there's plenty of humor too. Lurk as you like, but be sure to jump in wherever you like as well! We'd like to get to know you.
