Title: Haldo!
Post by: MythicalPuma on May 09, 2007, 02:59:14 PM
Yes, Haldo, not hello. Hello is for people who don't like to stand out. So Haldo!

I'm AJ, but please call me Puma. I'm a Sr. in High School who will turn 18 at the end of the week. I love RedvsBlue. I also love the Buffalo Sabres who are on their way to the Stanley Cup!

See you around.

EDIT: Oh, and why can't I get my avatar up?

I think I will allow you to do so, and thank you.

Mythical Puma comes from the on-line comedy RedVsBlue that was mentioned.

What it was, the Red team had just gotten a battle Jeep called the M12 LRV. Sarge, the Sargent (they never give his name) wants to nickname it the "Warthog".  Griff, the lazy one, says "It looks more like a cat, like a Puma." To which Simmons, the kiss ass, replies "You mean the shoe company?" "No, I mean the cat. Like a mountain lion."

Sarge: Your making that up.

Griff: No Sarge, really.

Sarge: Listen son, you see these two toe hooks? They look like tusks. What kind of animal has tusks.

Griff: Uh... A walrus.

Sarge: Stop making up mythical creatures.

Thus was born, the mythical puma.

Welcome, feel astonished at the freedom of Taijitu! We won't oppress you just because you like RvB. At least too much.

No indeed. It seems you will hate me because I am a Sabres fan.

Hooray, I was so hoping that was the reference!  I loved the first couple "seasons" of RvB; juvenile but hilarious.  Is it still funny?  I haven't watched it in a very long time.

Hello Puma, and welcome. For your consideration, consider:

The How To Section (http://forum.taijitu.org/index.php/board,7.0.html): Consulting some of the posted stickies here might provide you with an answer for some of your questions, and ought to help you off to a good start.

Office of the Minister of the Community (http://forum.taijitu.org/index.php?board=54.0) If you are at any time lost, have any questions, or need help, have a complaint this is the place to go. I will be more than happy to assist you in whatever way I can.

Games (http://forum.taijitu.org/index.php?board=12.0): An urge to spam? Just need something to do while you wile away the minutes? Then the game thread is the place for you. Especially useful for building up your post count.

Office of the Minister of Internal Affairs (http://forum.taijitu.org/index.php?board=13.0): This is where you want to go if you wish to obtain a Taijitu citizenship. Very simple to obtain, and very much something that you want to obtain if you wish to pursue and ever more in depth approach to Taijitu. In particular, it opens the way to Taijitu’s political realm, and affords you certain rights and privelages.

The Senate (http://forum.taijitu.org/index.php?board=55.0): The heart of Taijitu politics and legislation, it is open to any that have met some rather simple requirements. If you have held citizenship for fifteen days, you can apply for membership in the Senate.

And one of my personal favorites to finish...

Roleplay (http://forum.taijitu.org/index.php?board=8.0): Perhaps one of the best I know of in NS, it’s worth checking out if you are so inclined. And don’t forget that wonderful map (http://forum.taijitu.org/index.php?board=11.0) which Oz has blessed us with. Just remember: you need to have 30 posts, provide a link to your nation, and give coordinates.

I hope that’s enough to get you on your feet and started, but if there is any questions you have, any help you need, don’t hesitate to ask. I am more than willing to help.
