Greetings Fellow Nations,
Having just moved into the Taijitu region, I wish to extend my warmest regards to each of you. Please allow me to introduce myself. I am Alana, recently-elected leader of The Most Serene Republic of Jutensa (http://www.nationstates.net/jutensa). We are a nation that strives for peace, equality, and sustainable growth. Any requests for diplomatic parlay will be happily considered.
That being out of the way, I promise not to talk like some sort of pompous, over-friendly dignitary all the time. I love silly discussions as much as (or more than) serious ones. Here's to having a good time in my new region, and perhaps getting to know some of you along the way!
Have a lovely day, everyone!

Welcome!
Remember to exercise caution concerning certain forum members.
-
Thank you! I will remember your advice (concernedly). O:-)
-
...You're listening to my advice?
...wow...
But seriously, just relax and have fun, no one to worry about here. Except my avatar, which causes good feelings and dancemania.
-
I won't lie, that little avatar makes me want to dance around my office like a retarded bunny rabbit. As I don't wish to be fired, however, I shall refrain for as long as possible.
You sound surprised. First time someone's listened? ^_- Seriously, though, I won't fret about anyone. No point in worrying, I figure the best way to get by is to be yourself and enjoy the ride.
-
One of Forster's "aristocracy," eh? ;)
It's good to have you here to share our craziness. Also, feel free to check out all the areas of the forum, especially the one down at the bottom.
-
I am quite sure you will love it here, *whispers* but look out for the crazy Finns and Danes running around here, they easily get carried away when there aren't enough Swedes around to keep them in check* Illustration-> :drunks: :whip: (the Finn collapses due to drinking unfiltered moonshine while the Dane drinks Tuborg beer...)
-
See, a perfect example of the nonsense we indulge in here.
O:-)
-
Hmph, svenskatalande bättre folk.
-
Oh, and watch out for the fuzzy red things that scurry around on the floors, they carry hammers and sicles, the either can give you serious black toes if you aren't careful, the other could poke an eye out, it hurts *adjusts eye-patch and tries to remedy itching cast foot*
Nä, inte bättre, bara lite nyktrare :P (not Better people, just more sober)<- för de av våra vänner som inte pratar nordiska språk :)
-
Skulle vi prata på engelska? It's not polite to speak Swedish. Anywhere.
-
That's it, you asked for it! PILLOW FIGHT! :fight: :fight: :fight: :fight:
-
:fight: kan döda.
Must remember to stick to English. Sorry 'bout that.
-

You have just made my day. Perhaps my week.

Hello and Welcome to Taijitu!!
-
Ah, I see you've met some of our other members already. Don't let them frighten you off ;)
And as Minister of the Community, I present to you the bried intro to the many sights and places of note in Taijitu:
The How To Section (http://forum.taijitu.org/index.php/board,7.0.html): Consultiang some of the posted stickies here might provide you with an answer for some of your questions, and ought to help you off to a good start.
Office of the Minister of the Community (http://forum.taijitu.org/index.php?board=54.0) If you are at any time lost, have any questions, or need help, have a complaint this is the place to go. I will be more than happy to assist you in whatever way I can.
Games (http://forum.taijitu.org/index.php?board=12.0): An urge to spam? Just need something to do while you wile away the minutes? Then the game thread is the place for you. Especially useful for building up your post count.
Office of the Minister of Internal Affairs (http://forum.taijitu.org/index.php?board=13.0): This is where you want to go if you wish to obtain a Taijitu citizenship. Very simple to obtain, and very much something that you want to obtain if you wish to pursue and ever more in depth approach to Taijitu. In particular, it opens the way to Taijitu’s political realm, and affords you certain rights and privelages.
The Senate (http://forum.taijitu.org/index.php?board=55.0): The heart of Taijitu politics and legislation, it is open to any that have met some rather simple requirements. If you have held citizenship for fifteen days, you can apply for membership in the Senate.
And one of my personal favorites to finish...
Roleplay (http://forum.taijitu.org/index.php?board=8.0): Perhaps one of the best I know of in NS, it’s worth checking out if you are so inclined. And don’t forget that wonderful map (http://forum.taijitu.org/index.php?board=11.0) which Oz has blessed us with. Just remember: you need to have 30 posts, provide a link to your nation, and give coordinates.
I hope that’s enough to get you on your feet and started, but if there is any questions you have, any help you need, don’t hesitate to ask. I am more than willing to help :D
-
Thanks, everyone! You all seem quite nice and the nonsense-indulgence suits me just fine.
...if only I knew what those funny-looking words meant. Frickin' foreigners. You're all alien to me! English is the language of the world! A sterile, homogeneous world culture is the future! Conform, consume, obey!
>:D
*whispers to self* No Alana, we mustn't unveil our ugly American prejudices so soon! They'll hates us, precious! No, no they mustn't...
-
Oh, no need to worry about conformity, I have had outlines on plans for invading the US ready for ages so you'll get to learn those words in a compulsory study-group when my authority has been consolidated O:-) (the plans has been postponed indefinetly)
-
I have to admit, speaking multiple languages does have its benefits. Like being able to annoy people nearly everywhere you go.
-
It's just SOOOO funny, eller hur min vän ;)
-
Tietenkin.
-
You know, I'm pretty sure its in one of the 10 Commandments that 'thou shouldn't jibber in Swedish in front of other forum members' (note the use of holy words).
Anyway, *fondest* greetings to you too - Alana (ruler) and Allama (forum member).
-
Я вам всем покажу!
PS: Welcome to Taijitu O:-)
-
No, the original commandment says thou shalt jibber in swedish in front of other forum members frequently (a monk slipped with his stylus some time during the 14th century and put an ink blob on the manuscript, resulting in a confusing smear, it's only in our time that the mistake has been revealed)
-
君はスウェーデン語とロシア語で話したくない。日本語が一番だよ!
-
Wir sollen halten. Eh... Vielleicht nicht. :-P
Anyways, welcome. We're only about half American, as far as I know.
-

And I would've got away with it, if it weren't for those meddling Swedish Monks!
-
Mièrda! No me molestas con otras lenguas, bichos.
Tambièn, gracias. All the well comes make me feel welcome. (Ooooh, antiquated language puns. How we love thee.)
-
And by "we" you must mean yourself. :P
-
I'm afraid we do. Damn it, don't get us started! Now we're stuck... ::)
-
damn it, you hold another linguistic blabing contest and forgot to invite me? :-X Well, bine-ai venit in forum Allama, sper sa te simti bine! ...add my warmest welcome to that. ;)
-
This thread is awesome. Not only because it contains the first ever conversation between Alana and me, but mainly thanks to that.
-
Greatest intro thread ever! Mostly because it's Al's. ^_^ :wb:
-
Grave digger <_<
-
Hot?
-
OH YEAH!
