Ryazania has stated in the OOC thread "Points of interest in Ryazania" that we both agree I assume control of it before the rebellion. Even if everyone just jumps in, I still think it's likely I get a little land left over (preferably in the east. I'll just say that's where most Myrorian Catholics are, but in reality it's just closer to Hupprecht Colony). Bustos said he'd start the thread for the rebellion also.

I voted neither because that's how I vote for all colonial expansions, but for RP's sake you should probably take control of Ryazania when the royal family disappears.

Your RP seems just fine to me, really. I just tend to be anti-imperialist/expansionist. Now,
peaceful
expansion I have much less a problem with (only problem is this: is that even possible?? ;P )
But, yeah, my reasoning and point of view is pretty much the same as G-C's. Nothing personal, and not that your RP isn't good enough, it's just a matter of standing firm in my own principles.
Besides, what would you rather I'd voted? "You suck"? ;)

Honestly, he probably would. That, I believe, counts as an abstention.
Where are the imperialists? I think that, to make the politics of the region more interesting in the future, that Ryazania should be split into as many spheres of interest as possible, but I don't want to vote for colonies myself...
Damn story/principle conflict! I vote against colonies because nobody else is ever going to, and look where it gets me.
This ONE time, the worst time possible, everyone is anti-colony.

I'm a bit confused...
First off, which one is Ryazania (is it the UI closest to me)? And secondly, by voting in favor of you getting Ryazania, does that mean it will subsequently fall into rebellion and we can pillage it for resources and the like?

Absolutely not. If you were to go in there and take the place over, I intend to have troops delivered there to watch over the people, and theyd be dead and I would have to go to war with you which I dont want. Its absurd to get all that land... I think that people should have the chance to fight for it, you included.

The people will rebel and we'll try to stop it, but that's when everyone rushes in and we do little to stop it because we don't want an international war, but we'll protect the land we want more than anything. And why has everyone gone suddenly anti-colony with me but no one else?

I'm changing my vote. You're not getting Hupprecht, but I'll support you keeping Ryazania until the war breaks out.

This whole vote is invalid. The purpose of an RP Council vote is to confirm someone's control of a colony after they've RP'd it, not to determine whether or not the RP should take place.

This was about the map reflecting Myroria's control of Ryazania and his new colony.
Ryazania is still open for invasion as far as I am concerned. It's a matter of someone starting the RP. Rya said Myro had to be the one to do it. I got tired of waiting and said I would start it if Myro didnt but, I got distracted with Islas' govt collasping and have been RPing there. I've also been in communication with people interested in Rya and been told one of them will start it.
So we are all waiting on someone else to do it. :D
