A New Dawn voting for PUR and Soly
« on: July 19, 2007, 05:05:01 PM »
Members of The Party, Beloved Comrade Soly and Sexy Comrade PUR, have thrown their hats into the ring for Taijitu's current Delegate Election. This is a prime struggle in the Taijitan democratic community. The question comes down to tradition or a new outlook. Our opposition have been heading the community for quite some time and have done a great job at it but it may be time for Taijitu to look to fresh minds and a new outlook for the future of this great region. How are others to gain the experience as delegate if not given a chance? I believe it is time to shake things up a bit. It's time for a change. Its time for an awesome Delegate and Vice Delegate pair the likes of which has been under the radar of taijitu for quite some time. Both Soly and myself are strong supporters of the community of Taijitu. We are members of the radical new party in Taijitu The Party which has goals of improving the economy and involvement of this great Region. All of you who know me know that my outlook is unique and i tend to my friends with warmth and logic, as you are all my friends you can all expect this sort of treatment from me. i am not good at these longwinded speaches so i will leave you with this, I stand always for the people of this community because you are the most precious part of our community.

i will now open myself up for questioning and hope for my running mate to post soon.

your friend,
PUR

Nice to see you beginning your campaign, darling.  Now, on to the grilling. >:D

You mentioned that the community is a very high priority for you.  How do you plan to maintain the level of community we have now while including new players?  How will you do this without alienating our older, more experienced members?

well my love of course helping them apply for the senate is one of the services i shall provide but i also have a few new ministries in mind that will offer up new positions. i am not willing to divulge what they are currently as the details are being worked out. also it is hard to alienate alot of our community when someone who is less experienced gains a position, this was seen in the appointments of yourself and mama khab to the ministry of the community. there were players who have been here since the begining who were passed over but it was applauded because it realy didn't matter as you and mama khab were much more suited to the job! thank you for your question my love!

A wonderful speech, but I've questions that must be answered.... post haste!

1) What do you see as Taijitu's greatest flaw or weakness, and what would you do to correct it?

2) What do you see as Taijitu's greatest strength and could it be improved upon? If so, how?

3) How do you be so sexy?

4) Do you feel the lack of urinals in the women's washroom is a form of sexual discrimination? Why or why not?

5) Will Soly's quest to save humanity allow him enough time to preform his duties if elected?

6) If elected, how do you see Taijitu three months from today?

1. currently Taijitu's greatest flaw is that not all of the regions members are active here on the forum. I have plans to appoint someone to directly campaign to all the members of our region to convince them of how their NS experience would improve from joining the off-site forum.

2. Taijitu's greatest streangth as always is the great community we have here. a democracy is only as good as its people so i am fortunate to be a part of one with such fine people, everyone here is realy nice and generaly has something useful to add to any topic. everyone supports each other at all times, it realy does the heart good to see.

3. good genetics and an interesting life. honestly if i hadn't had the life i did, i wouldn't be me.

4. absolutely not, we have no need for them. however the lack of changing tables in many mens rooms realy irks me, it seems as if most places are convinced that men don't need to change their children because the women will. how insulting.

5. i believe soly has already answered this and i agree with him.

6.i see Taijitu as being a bit more colorful with a whole array of new services and members, i see this vibrant community becoming becoming a monolithic rainbow of friendship and communal works.

Hi PUR!  Time to get down to the nitty gritty.  Let's see now.

1.  You mentioned wanting to help newer people to apply for a seat in the Senate.  Any specifics on how you plan to do that?

2.  What are your plans for redecorating the delegate's office, should you obtain it?  Details, please!

3.  Do you have any ideas regarding the budget?

4.  If you were a cookie, what type of cookie would you be?

5.  If you had been delegate when the recent TNP upheaval surfaced, what position would you have taken?

I liked your idea of appointing someone to liaise with the NationStates community very much, here is my questions though, please answer them fully and sensibly to the best of you sexy ability.

1) Don't you think that perhaps to being each others Vices might end up splitting your own vote between yourselves?

2) Have you started endotarting for the Delegacy yet? How long do you think it would take to get you there?

3) Are you happy with the Supreme Court Justices and how they function?

4) Will you be creating any new ministries?

5) What member(s) of NationStates do you most admire? If any.

6) Could you compare you leadership style to any other RL leader? If yes, please explain.

7) Please go into detail about your plans for Taijitu's foreign policy?

8. How sure can we be that you will complete your term as a fully active Delegate?

9) Your opinions on the other candidacies?

10) Your detailed opinion on Taijitu/Feederite relations?

Thanks in advance.

This might be similar to one of Durnia's questions, but I'll ask anyway:

How would a Pur/Soly ticket differ from a Soly/Pur one?

5.  If you had been delegate when the recent TNP upheaval surfaced, what position would you have taken?

1. to start i wish to encourage new players to apply to become senators by asking their opinions on current senatorial debates. try to get them interested early on in Taijitan politics.

2. well leopard print and dark woods with a reddish finish. alot of comfy places to sit, a small bar, my own cookie baker and I'll put Aphrodite in the center of my office.

3. why yes yes i do but they are currently under wraps but needless to say card games and smileys may become buyable by the end.

4. dark chocolate with crumbles of toffee fresh out of the oven.

5. i would take a stance of sympathy for the people of The North Pacific. however neutrality would have been my ultimate stance.

I liked your idea of appointing someone to liaise with the NationStates community very much, here is my questions though, please answer them fully and sensibly to the best of you sexy ability.

1. there currently is no way of splitting a vote with the Condorcet voting method. however we wanted people to have a choice of which one of us was Delegate and which VDelegate.

2. it would not take me to long as people constantly endorse me without me asking. I'm just that bad ass that it would take less than a week especially if i change my flag to a picture of myself.

3. i am currently happy with the supreme court justices however i wish to expand the number of justices to allow for a more ranged point of view regarding whatever topic at hand.

4. oh yes i have at least three in mind, they are not yet being released as ideas due to them still being rough ideas. i am working out the bugs currently though.

5. due to what my old therapist told me years ago, i only really admire myself. it helps with self esteem alot.

6. i can compare it to my dramatics teacher from high-school, as in working towords the goals of the community we are apart of even if the means of getting to those goals will stress the members of the community for a few weeks, once completed everyone is really glad they went along with what we commanded. its also about commanding respect through adoration and intimidation.

7. honestly i plan on keeping the allies we have and remaining neutral unless we our our allies are attacked. perhaps alliances with new regions perhaps not. basically just roll with it.

8. as sure as you can trust my word. it is honestly up to how much you trust me, i won't be going anywhere so it is up to whether or not you choose to believe me.

9. i believe that the other candidates are very strong. Mike and Merlin have both been in the game for quite some time and definitely have the experience and ability for the job, i respect them highly. as for Soly, i believe he is also a good choice for delegate. although silly he is quite brilliant and seems able to solve any problem he is confronted with.

10. i currently have no idea who the Freederite are. i am not in the army and i am not an ambassador as of yet. thus i have limited knowledge of our relations with other regions.

This might be similar to one of Durnia's questions, but I'll ask anyway:

How would a Pur/Soly ticket differ from a Soly/Pur one?

A PUR/Soly ticket as you call it would be much more geared toword involving new members in regional polotics and would indeed be set up to involve more region members in the off-site forum.

i have a few questions for you

1) Would you Help the Geek Liberation Army?

2) On the younger side of the spectrum, what will you do for the Little kids?

3) Will you tell trey and taco to quit bugging that Fallen earth sucks?

thats all, please respond!

1. i don't realy approve of army's as i am a general pacifist.

2. i will feed the little kids cookies and tell them not to look at naughty photos.

3. i will tell them to stop teasing you, however until it is out we don't know if it sucks or not.
