Title: Roma Confrence - LCF

The conference will be held across from the Great hall in a Legion Installation in the city. The massive office complex was the military command center of Irnotia. The meeting would be in a underground location in the building.

In it the Imperator waited with his guards for the others to arrive

Titus and Cleomenes walked down the steps of the executive jet that carried them across Taijitu to the mother empire of Irnotia. Waiting for them was a military escort with their luggage. They both stepped into the middle vehicle with their guards occupying the rest of the seats. They passed the time by looking at a strategic map of the world, planning the course of the war that was soon to come.

The vehicle stopped, and they had parked at the entrance of the Legion Installation where the conference was being held. Waiting for their guards first, they stepped out of the vehicle and walked into the building. They both marveled at the architecture of Roma, a style that Parconus had tried to copy itself. Escorted into the conference hall proper, they took a seat.

Titus broke out his cigar box while Cleomenes reached inside his uniform for his flask full of Ryazanian whiskey. Once his cigar was lit, the Consul of Novus Parco strode confidently to the Imperator and greeted him, with Cleomenes following suit.

The Imperator grasped the mans fore arm "Welcome to the conference men. I'm the Imperator, and will be representing Irnotia in this conference, soon our guest from Inglo-scotia should be arriving. Please Take some wine, its from my personal vineyards"

" It is nice to finally meet you, your Majesty. " replied Titus as he accepted the Imperator's offer of a glass of wine.

Cleomenes shook his head when offered the glass. " Your Majesty, long have I studied the military strategy of the great Irnotian Empire. It's conquests truly stand out as the greatest the world has ever seen. Perhaps when this conference is done, will you allow my general staff to study here for a while? I feel that doing so could help future military conflicts. "

OOC: Even though I'm posting this first, it takes place AFTER my post I'm going to make in the Crofts in Irnotia thread.

IC:
Two bulletproof SUVs pulled up to the Legion Installation. Four armed Major-General guards exited the first suv, as three others escorted the Lord Protector out of the second vehicle.

Crofts looked around as they entered the hall. It looked very different from Inglo-Scotia. New Beaconsfield was a city that rose to prominence during the late middle-ages, and it reflected that with Gothic cathedrals and other medieval buildings that seemed to clash with the more modern architecture. Here the ancient architecture seemed to flow into the new. Style had evolved here rather then changed.

Entering the conference room Crofts took his seat. Five of the seven Major-General guards fell back to the wall behind the Lord Protector. Two of them remained just behind him on opposite sides.

"Greetings to you" he said, getting up to shake the hands of Titus and the Imperator.
"My Consul of Foreign Affairs should be here shortly. Shall we begin?"

The Imperator nodded "I see you again Mr Crofts, yes, we can start. These two men wish to join our treaty organization, so we need to discuss how to make this happen and how to solidify and expand our military power."

Crofts sat down, looking at Consul Manlius.
"Lets just have the Consul sign the treaty" he suggested.

The door to the room opened and a man with slick black hair and thick black facial hair, wearing a uniform of an Inglo-Scotian Lieutenant-General entered.
Crofts stood, faced the man, giving him the Commonwealth salute (closed right fist to left shoulder). The man responded in kind, and the two sat down next to each other.

"Consul Manlius, Imperiator" Crofts said, introducing the recently arrived man, "this is the Commonwealth's Consul of Foreign Affairs, Erik Destler."

Manlius, still reading the text of the treaty, rose from his chair and greeted the Consul of Foreign Affairs warmly. After the usual chit-chat, he again pored over the LCF treaty. Satisfied, he called the Field Marshal over.

" Cleomenes, do you find this to be acceptable? "
" Without a doubt, your Honor. "
" Well good then, Marshal. Who shall have the honor of signing first? "
" You may go ahead. "

And with that, the Consul signed the document, with the Field Marshal doing the same afterwards.

The Consul of Foreign Affairs then scribbled something onto a piece of paper and handed it to one of the Major-General guards, who took it out of the room. Destler noticed the Myrorian Empeurer shooting him a suspicious stare.
"Rest assured" Destler went on, "that what I just did was in the best interest of improved Commonwealth-Myrorian relations."

OOC: May I clean up the charter some? Same rules and stuff, just making it look more like an official document.

Edit: "Lunctus Consuasor Foedus" doesn't actually mean anything in Latin. Translators just change "Lunctus" to "Prandium". Was this deliberate, or do you want to say something else?

ooc: translating back from latin usually causes some problems, Luntus mean United, or it should, I think I accidental had caps when I thought I was doing lower case, it looks like it may have supposed to been an I, my bad, but dont really matter that much

With slow steps, 5 people entered the hall. The Emperor himself, wearing a simple black robe, and no decorations but a slim, thin tiara, made of some kind of black cristal, the Empress Miray Cordré, wearing a dress made of pure white silk and wearing a similar tiara as the Emperor, but transparent-white-"colored", and two heavy armed and armored Feye High Guardians. Their skin was almost white; the Emperor´s hair was black, the Empress`s was as pure as snow like her dress.
 All four possesed some strange kind of supernatural charisma.
"Thou are greated." the Emperor broke the silence.

OOC: I´m going out from that in the hall are mainly national leaders; so the Emperor/Empress don´t use Pluralum Majestis this time.

The Imperator looked at the two why is both the husband and wife here, bothersome his face stoic he spoke "You have not missed much, we are just getting our new partners here signed, and are soon to begin to talk about implementing the different articles in the treaty"

The Emperor, and then the the Empress read trough the document very carefully.
They exchanged a few words in Shyrie, and then, the Emperor faced the Imperator again.

"I have no major problems with it, except something concerning article 4."
*short break*
"Feniexia will never authorise foreign powers to build weapons and military complexes in our capital  Shaya. We must not endanger our population more than needed."
*short break again*
"I and the Empress grant you however, to build up your bases outside of the main isle; but not nearer to a city as 20 km. Can you accept this conditions of our entrance into this alliance?"

President Jordan Hjuylio of Algerianbania was awaken by his hand-servant, Drki, rushed into his bedchamber still wearing his nightclothes. "Mr. President! Mr. President! Wake up. My alarm clock must have failed. I fear that we have over slept!" Drki began to draw the curtains, allowing the sunlight to swarm into the room, causing President Jordan to squint. "What time is it?" "I do not know sir. It is late enough though. Most of the delegates from the other countries are no doubt already there. You must not be too late. Get up!"

   The 27 year old man reluctantly rolled out of his bed and lumbered over to the bathroom. He turned on the shower, undressed and stepped in. Drki meanwhile open the closet and pulled out a beautiful red three-pieced suit. As he did this he yelled to the President. "Mrs. Hjuylio called. Unfortunately I slept through it." "Don't call her Mrs. Hjuylio. We aren't married yet."

   Eventually, the President was dressed and he headed down to the motor-car convoy of 2 armored cars and a limo, which would take him and his Secretary of State, Chaseeta Esach, to the Great Hall. As he stepped into the limo, he heard his friend yell at him. "Where the hell were you? We've been waiting for over an hour." "Sorry. I accidentally overslept." They both laughed.

   When they arrived to the Great Hall, President Jordan was unable to find his Chief of Staff. "Where is Hungty?", he asked. "His plane was delayed by 5 hours. He'll land in a few minutes." Great, President Jordan thought. At a time when he need council the most. Hesitantly, the President with the Secretary of State walk up to the entrance door. As the guards made to open it, the President took a deep breath and look at Chaseeta. "We'll be fine.", said the Secretary. "I hope so." By then the door was opened. President Jordan to one last deep breath, and entered.

ic: The Imperator simply glanced up at the new arrival, one of the Guards pointed to a seat.

turning his head slowly he spoke the two the representatives from Fenexia "A military base needs not be located at the edge of a city, though it does bring economic growth to areas it is located around. Our military facilities need location next to the sea and located in fields. A city is not required, as long as we can build military facilities in your nation and perchance territories near by we can claim that is all that is stipulated by the treaty. Nothing more as of yet"

ooc: I wont be as active as I have been maybe 3-4 times a week, we dont have reguler access to internet at my house, we cant afford it. :D so if i dont post for a day or two i still want this to go and happen I just cant get on, when ever i can Me be posty.

Field Marshal Cleomenes, deep in thought, was pondering the events that were sure to happen in the near future. He knew within a few years the entire world would be at war, and he would be at the forefront of the commanders of their side, There were few people outside of his General Staff he trusted, but he knew he could not make a staff completely made of Parconians. This train of thought led to his statement.

" I see clearly on the horizon a war that we will no doubt be a part of. For this reason, I suggest that each nation send it's top military leaders to a LCF Staff HQ to develop strategies. I would also suggest that each nation begin to share military technology and blueprints, all the while equipping each army with the best equipment from each respective country. Does this proposal suit you all? "

President Jordan Hjuylio took his seat at the table as Field Marshal Cleomenes said his remarks. "I apologize for my late arrival. Field Marshal Cleomenes, of course the sharing of military knowledge is necessary, but as it is with the Chinese and silk, the Art of Algerianbanian War Panda Warfare is sacred to my country, and we are not looking to share our heritage without being first provoked by significant force. If the other representatives have no interest in that matter, then I shall be happy to share all of our military technology and knowledge." The President's Secretary of State leaned over and whispered something in his ear, hold a PDA. The President nodded, and continued. "Setting that aside, I shall like to sign the treaty."

The Imperator nodded "With this we will bring as much unity of our militaries as possible, each nation focusing at what skills they have greatest to make one force that is unbeatable to all outside forces"

As he spoke the Imperator was handed a note by one of his men " and talking of bases it seems a nation that We aided has decided to deny us the right to build a simple military base in their lands. This is rather annoying thing to come up"

"Ill let Nero decide who will represent our military at the Headquarters. We should also know that King Tarih al-Rashid ibn Gamal al-Tagmenrac and his allies whom ever they are not to be trusted, they have no honor in them. They will return great kindness with pure hostility, they are do not respect our power, if we ever deal with them as a organization don't think for a second they ever wish for peace. Storm clouds are forming on the horizon, we need to begin work on this unification and the military bases as soon as possible in all nations and territories, and get access to more lands in other nations for Military reasons.

modern war is won and lost by flexibility and logistics, we need to insure we are the ones who win any conflict that may come upon us.?

A Major-General guard entered the room, handing Crofts a piece of paper. Crofts looked over the information scribbled on it before showing it to Destler.
"It appears" Crofts said, "that I am needed back home. As it appears we have all come to agreement regarding the generalities regarding this treaty.
We are very excited to be part of this alliance. May strength and peace through victory drive this alliance to greatness. Should the alliance decide on any course of action we will comply, however at the time I am needed in the Commonwealth.
I'm going to keep my family here for a month as a sign of good will" Crofts said, turning to the Imperator.
"Much thanks for your efforts forging this alliance."

"Pete, may we put our differences aside for the fulfilment of our common goals."

Crofts made his way to the Novus Parco representatives.
"Consul Titus Manlius, Field Marshal Cleomenes, I look forward to the continued alliance between our two nations" he continued, shaking Manlius' hand.


"War's coming Erik" Crofts said, as the pair made their way down the Imperial hallways.
"In the States no less" Destler responded.
"Fremont wanted to intervene in our affairs, but the clown failed to do what was neccecary to weaken us. He left us breathing, and I'm going to make sure he pays for his mistakes."

President Jordan watched Crofts go, and then turned back to the group. "So, the treaty. May I sign it?"

He slides it over to him.

The President picked up the pen and looked at his companion. He whispered in his ear, "This is our last chance to back out. Once I sign, we are in forever. Well, just about." The Secretary responded, "The House has just tallied their votes. They give the go ahead after debating this for months. They would be very displeased if you didn't sign this." The President nodded and looked back to the group smiling. He put the pen to the paper and signed his name. He then moved the document over to the Secretary and he signed it, as well as signing a small note that the House had approved the decision. When he was done, he put the pen down and looked to the President. Their eyes met for a moment, and President Jordan looked back. "It is done," he said with a sigh.

Suddenly, Fay Celens pager rang out loudly. She took it and read trough the message she got. Then, without showing any kind of emotion, she spoke some words in Shyrie to the Emperor and the Empress. After a few minutes, the Empress nodded, it seems like she agreed to something.

The Emperor turned around, facing the other conference partipicants again.
"We got a message from someone attaining to the Annuminas conference. They ask us to join them."

Then, Miray spoke some words in English (OOC: Or whatever language is used by the chars in here): "I and the Emperor are very concerned about all of this, but we think one of us should lisen to them. I will go."

She bowed, like all polite Feniexians do when discharging from people with ranks about equal to their own.

"Shaneya. Maybe we will meet again."

Then, she left the room.


OOC: Just if someone is curious about, "Shaneya" is a word for a very polite "Goodbye" in Shyrie (Feye language). It doesn´t mean anything in any RL language as far I know.

The imperator looked a bit "just remember your one of us now. I wish you well"

One of his men came behind him, next to the man a Woman in a red dress the imperator turned "advosor adviser, what are you here for"

She leaned down and whispered, he stood up and turned to his guests "I'm sorry, something has come up, Tita is my most trusted adviser and shall continue to represent my interests here, I am needed else where"

The Imperator left and Tita sat down "Good day all"

Tita received a message on her pda "It seems, gathered allies, that war has been declared on Irnotia by the nation of Gaulasia who attacked and destroyed a small patrol fleet near our new colonial claims then invaded the land and took our colonial capital. Irnotia is requesting naval assistance but would like to handle the ground war."

"We might provide air support...our fleet is not fully mobilized yet. But, we wish that our supportment won´t be reaveled unless the Empress returns from the Annuminas Conference..."

Tita nodded "We just need some help insuring that the Invading forces navy does not destroy our landing craft, once we have that handled, and can insure their fleets cant interfear with our resuplly of the vast invasion force we will be bale to handle this. This is a war that was uncalled for and a vile attack against Irnotia with out warning, our pride is on the line and so is the honor of those men and woman slain by the barbaric Gaulasians. On the honor of the Ancient Irnotian empire and the Emperor himself, they will never be able to make such a vile attack again"

She smilled as she finished

    "But I fear that a more grave matter has arisen. Our enemy alliances such as the UASS and the AA, would no doubt take advantage of our situation. A colony of the leader of the LCF, Irnotia, is in rebellion, thus making them overworked with ousting the rebels. This makes Irnotia a prime spot to target, of if not the nation itself, then the organization which it leads: the LCF. Our enemies will not overlook this. I am sure that they will strike, and strike soon. The LCF would no doubt crush the UASS or the AA alone, but together, I am not sure that we will win."

She nodded "they are nothing but dogs looking to find a place to bight, we will focus our diplomatic pressure in the fact that We did not send the first strike it was Gaulasians who attacke with out so much as a warning or declaration of war. We will aslo use how fast we end this to show our military strength and make them more aware of what will come to them if they try and move against us. We need to take everything they see as an advantage and use it against them. We need ot find weaknesses in them. For example is not the DSA part of the AA, and now they are having thier own troubles in the south, they moved troops in and removed things they claim to hold dear. We need to insure people in thier alliances have mistrust with each other. We can destroy them both even if they work together if we can insure that they do not trust those they claim as friends. We will turn this from a possible weakness to a great victory for us. The LCF will prevail over those who stand against us"

Besides, there are very much air force bases in Feniexia. Just do them in anywere; I will crete a map for Feniexia soon, and then you can have precise postions for them...
