OOC:I'm starting this one to focus on the ginto claim seperately .....Otherwise I'm trying to run two diplomacy sessions in one thread and I don't want to get mixed up.....

As the Small convoy of cars pulled up....Jalek steeped down to the kerb and self conciously adjusted her suit....before opening the car door to welcome the Foreign minister of Islas Filipinas....
"Welcome to Daimiaena...Sir...I have been asked to escort you to the Daimiaena Grand Hotel....so that you may freshen up after your long flight...."
She jumped into the front passenger seat and the convoy moved off through the early evening traffic....

Peter Bautista awaited his arrival. He had a briefcase with him with all important papers and aslo a satellite phone to be able to contact the homeland.

As the three car cavalcade approaches the modern monstrosity of the Daimiaena Grand Hotel.....It can be seen by the cars occupants that their are about fifty protestors clamouring around the entrance bearing placards stating STOP THE GENOCIDE and FREEDOM TO THE TRIBALS amongst other rants.....

Holar...the junior minister turned around from the front seat.....

"Perhaps the Minister would like to see how Daimiaena deals with these sort of radicals....." And with that he flipped open a mobile phone and murmered something into it.....

From two side streets four black Armored personnel carriers bearing the words INTSEC in red on the sides roared into the protestors...no attempt was made to brake and several of the protestestors went under the wheels of the vehicles like ragdolls....
The rear doors opened and out of each APC jumped ten black clad riot troopers some armed with sheilds and three foot long batons.....others with shotguns.....
In what appeared to be a completely random explosion of violence the rest of the protestors were either beaten to a pulp or blasted by shotguns....
Within a minute the street was quiet apart from the sound of approaching sirens.....the riot troopers returned to their APCs and moved off into the night. as several ambulances arrived and started to load the injured..... a black van also arrived to take away the corpses which were unceremoniusly thrown into the back....

"Most efficient..." Stated Halor satisfactorily....he turned to the chauffeur...."Let's go..."

The Junior minister escorted the Islas Filipina into the hotel....a basic functional building with no frills.....The Minister was shown to a rather modest room on the third floor.....

"So we shall send a car for you tommorrow morning.....Goodnight...."

And the Minister was left alone in his room......

Peter Bautista immediately sent reports to the homeland about the happenings of the day. He was shocked by the brutality of the Daimiaenan way of dealing with their citizens.
