To: Prime Minister Steward Beregond ArFinn, Royal Confederacy of Eluvatar and Emperor Peté Tar-Ilium I, Theocratic Kingdom of MyroriaFrom: Secretary of State William Rusk, Democratic States of AmericaThe recent events concerning the province of Éire in the Commonwealth of Inglo-Scotia are of deep concern to the Democratic States of America.President Elliot Frémont has been in constant communication with the American Intelligence Agency concerning plans to rectify the situation. We feel a plan has been developed that will allow our objectives to be realized while at the same time avoiding direct war with the Commonwealth of Inglo-Scotia. We are interested as to whether or not either of your nations would be interested in joining the Democratic States in this endeavour.
The Honourable William Rusk,I find interest in this conference you propose. I would like to know more about it, however, before sending a representative.Empeurer Peté Tar-Ilium I.
To: Prime Minister Steward Beregond ArFinn, Royal Confederacy of Eluvatar and Emperor Peté Tar-Ilium I, Theocratic Kingdom of MyroriaFrom: Secretary of State William Rusk, Democratic States of AmericaOut right war with the Commonwealth of Inglo-Scotia is, at the moment, not an option for the Democratic States of America. President Frémont is just two years into his first term. War with a nation still seen as the birthplace of our culture is not a popular stance to take. The President is also trying to quell secessionists in the souther states, who have openly supported the Commonwealth of Inglo-Scotia. Open war would mean mass demonstrations and the League of the South's active resistance to our military recruitment measures. We believe we have found a way to topple the Commonwealth regime without formally going to war. There is a large Inglo-Scotian refugee population in the DSA that fled during and after the Inglo-Scotian Civil War five years ago. There is also a minor prince in the Gaulasian royal family that has a flimsy claim to the Inglo-Scotian Imperial crown (unfortunately Crofts killed off the Cloutier imperial family). Our plan would call for the American Intelligence Agency and the Democratic States Army to train a number of Inglo-Scotian refugees as soldiers. We would outfit them, and with the help of the DS Navy, have them attempt an aquatic invasion of Inglo-Scotia near New Beaconsfield. They would take the capital, assassinate the leaders of the Commonwealth, and declare a provisional government. Following that the plan calls for all three of our nations to recognize the new government and send in troops to help wipe up the remaining Commonwealth forces. Once the new regime is succoured we transport price Charles Valois of Gaulasia into New Beaconsfield where he's crowned Emperor Charles VI. We hope both your nations decide to join us in this endeavour. If you do, let us know, so we can arrange a meeting to discuss the specifics.
The Honourable William Rusk,We will help your invasion. With one of our own. Good day.Peté Tar-Ilium
MemoFrom: Presiding Steward Beregond ArFinn of the Royal Confederacy of EluvatarTo: Secretary of State William Rusk, Democratic States of AmericaWe hold no interest in reestablishing a monarchy in Inglo-Scotia. Our wish is simply to end the genocide and perhaps bring a more democratic government to the Commonwealth. We would expect you would desire the same.I Presiding Steward Beregond ArFinn do declare this official correspondence of the Royal Confederacy of Eluvatar by the power granted me in the Absence of the King, soon may he return.
