The Emperor looked at the Validus ambassador and smiled, hiding the fact that he felt insulted that this man thought his security could miss an 8 inch combat knife, he used his well trained diplomats voice that masked his emotions and said in a friendly way "Ah my friend, we were aware of the knife the moment you crossed the first gate. Since you were an international diplomat my captain contacted me and requested orders, I excused this since you were a guest and that you pose no threat to my life. Hidden metal detectors and cameras ensure total security within these walls. Even if they heard of this meeting, they would have no means of bringing harm to us." Frederick felt confident in his zealous Imperial Guard and security around the palace.
He then looked to the other ambassadors, especially the Feniexian Emperor. It appeared he would wage an imperial war, and this was something Frederick could not opt for. Victory was almost certain with all the force of the nations present, but to seize Dysanii lands in Imperial ventures would surely invoke other nations to come to their aid & cause for rebellion. He shook his head and rose once again. "Empress Alia, Christstany troops shall land in Canada by tomorrow the latest. No harm shall come to Ottawa. Our forces are fully prepared to launch a counter-offensive to the Dysanii forces the moment they set foot on your soil. As for Feniexian & Delfian troops, it would be more conducive to our current strategy that your troops land on Dysani soil and begin a war on their fronts. After your attack, our joint forces will being phase 3 of our plan and draw the Dysani forces from Ottawa. .."
He began to pace around the table to the map he had of Christstan, one arm on his sword, the other grasping a pointer he began telling the plan in full phase by phase. "Our first Phase will be landing Christstany forces around Montreal and Ottawa. I now believe that we should change our bait target for two reasons, they will more likely believe a counter-offensive to begin in defense of the capital, as opposed to a major city. Ottawa will be a bigger target for them and thus easier to draw them to. Once these forces begin stalling Dysani advances, Phase 2 shall commence and Feniexian and Delfian troops shall begin assaults directly on Dysani borders. This will force them to further divide their forces in defense of their own territory. Once this is carried out, phase 3 shall commence. Phase 3 shall be the blitzkrieg of Christstany and Canadian forces from Montreal and push the Dysani on a straight path south, eventually encircling the enemies around Ottawa and recapturing Kingston in our path. The Blitzkrieg divisions shall continue south while the forces initially defending Ottawa shall secure Canadian-Dysani borders until the Blitzkrieg is complete, then Canada and Christstan shall begin aiding in the assault on Dysani proper. In this time your combined Feniexian and Delfian forces should have caused a great commotion in their territory. Forced now on a defensive war in their own territory surrounded on two sides they would not be able to resist our forces for very long. Then we may do as we wish. Though I would advise against annexation, this will lead to rebellion and international sympathy... Questions?"
