Title: Questions concerning the Taijituan Communist Party
Post by: Solnath on June 30, 2007, 04:51:26 PM
(Feel free to delete this thread if you don't want it here, I just thought that such a thread might be useful to browsing users.)

Is the TCP truly communist, i.e. aiming at seemingly unrealistic goals or socialist and thus aiming at equality of all people.

Funny how this sort of thread doesn't exist for the Party or the Progressives... :trout:

This question is hard to answer, as our Guiding Principles don't exist yet, but I hope that the goal of this Party is to make Taijitu as democratic and egalitarian as possible.

Would the TCP mind collaboration with the Party?

Well, seeing as how TCP = Awesome and TP = Very slightly more Awesome, I don't see a problem with it.  Of course, that's something that would go before the membership to decide.

Of course, that's something that would go before the membership to decide.

And it would have to pass the Party discretion.

Without any guiding principals, but with a label connected strongly to a political philosophy don't you feel you are pre-judging the outcome before you have even determined the ingredients?

Well, the label determines the people who are most likely to join, who then determine the principles.

It sounds like you're eating chicken before your eggs are done

so the principles are set by people chosen by their labels, and not from a 'raw' communist view?

If people are flocking to the flag of Communism then they have already chose their guiding principals. If they flock under a flag of principals and then decide to determine what their principals are, then isn't that the classic chicken/egg scenario?

So you endorse labels and the classification and division of people?

Is there a structure of roles within the party ?
Is there a party leader?

Why must there be a leader?  And why must there be offices?  This Party is a forum for discussion, for drafting a platform, and for running a Delegate to advance that platform, as well as advancing the platform in the Senate.  None of these functions, of which the first is by far the most important, needs offices to carry them out.

It's top-secret, I don't think you want to access that list, it has been guarded in GC's panties for some time.
