Title: History of the Pirate vs. Ninja War
Post by: Bara on December 08, 2007, 06:13:58 PM
It was 1000 years ago, back when ninjas and pirates lived side by side. Nobody knows what happened, but, somehow or another, a ninja and a pirate both died. Both where found with a weapon from the opposite group inside of them. Thus beginning the Pirate vs. Ninja War. The pirates where known to attack first, and they tried to go straight to the ninja capital, New ninja city. however, the ninjas where planning the same thing, and the ninja force was out of the ninja city, and the pirates werent in the pirate city. They quickly went back to there home city's, and each settled down for a war. The ninjas, however, started to kill all of those who werent deemed 'Ninja Enough". Many people, nobtaly Star Wars fan were killed, and the surving ones fled to the pirate city, where the pirates were killing Star Trekkies. The Star Trekkies fled to the ninja city. then, the 1st large battle of the ninja-pirate war began exactly 999 years ago. The huge pirate horde destroyed the ninjas, only to be almost killed when a ninja bomb exploded right in the center of the pirate horde. This brings us to our next section of this lecture, 700 years ago, to 600 years ago.

The ninjas and pirates lost a huge chuck of there armed forces, and had to rebuild. It took over 200 years to rebuild, yet, they now had better weapons. Now, the first naval battle began. It was ironcald, vs. ironclad, equal in numbers. However, it ended in a tie, just like the first battle. It destoyed both navys, exepct the pirates, who had  ahuge navy to beginig with, still held the seas, while the ninjas held the main land, with the pirates on islands. however, 600 years ago, the ninjas and the pirates had anthoer battle, not as large as the 1st one, but still large. This time, the pirates gained a foot-hold on the ninja coinet, and stelled in. To this day, the ninjas haven't beat back the pirates there.

500 years ago, The ninjas manged to kill the Great Pirate leader, Captian Syd. Captain Syd was the Grandfather of the current pirate leader, Captain Khab. However, the Ninja leader, Larrys grandfather-san, died of old age. These ushred in the the next rulers, there parents. It wasn't until 100 years ago when the current ninja and pirate leaders became the leaders. During this time, hundreds of battles were fought, on the sea, on the land, and in the air. The ninja sneaky airforce was formed, along with the pirate air force, and they have fought over the skys for years. This brings us to our 2nd part, the current leaders of the ninjas and pirates.

Larry is the current leader, rising to the top of the ninja clans through his cunning abilities in raiding pirates. Khab was just a born leader, and won her way though bribery using cookies. This brings us to our last part, notable members of each side.

Pirates

Bara- The 1st gunner in Khabs Pirate ship. Joined the pirate side as soon as possible. Born on a Small-Remote island, he is reported to be a moron, yet highly dangerous. In land, he often functions as the scout, and his will to he pirate cause is un breakable.

Emp- The Resident Chaos worshiper, he often uses ninjas as blood scarifies to the Chaos god. He is fitted with many bionc captiles. Is often paried up with Bara, who sevres as his scout. He also has a fondness for Al, and lets everyobyd know it.

Al- Shes just Sexy. She joined the pirates as a even younger age then bara, and is a master sailer, even if she doesnt get disracted by Death.... sometimes.

Death...- he is the wifey of Al, and is often seen getting the ninjas chicks to join the pirate sides.

Ninjas

There is not much to metnion, expect there is a lot of ninjas. Somewhere.

Larry- Current Leader, often times seen yelling at Bara, even if bara is not doing anything. Has currently broke down, and doesn't want to fight anymore.

I will take questions later, and ingore the bad spelling.

I'll admit that was pretty interesting, and surprisingly unbiased.

However, I'm afraid I can't 'ingore' the spelling. I keep getting an urge to correct all the 'were' and 'where' mix-ups. Still, for such a long post, there are remarkably few typos.

Anyway, well done. It's about time I knew how this whole war started.

The best way to write.

Also, I'm sorry, I couldn't help it. I fixed your original post, as far as I was able. It's in the spoiler tag beneath, because it's fairly big.

Anyway, now I've satisfied my inner pedant, I'll leave you in peace.

Well, I'm not too good with history, but I'll be happy to talk about life in the ninja camp.

As you pointed out, I have apparently been the ninja leader for exactly one hundred years, thanks to my amazing meditative skills which prevent aging. The ninja council chose to appoint me as leader after it became clear that I was the only one who could bring ninja warfare into the next generation. Of course, it helped that my father was the head of the ninja council, but I was assured that it was a totally unbiased decision.

Since I took charge, there have been several changes to the way the clan is run. Firstly, my clan is the only clan. All registered ninjas must join it, or face the punishment. Nevertheless, there are a few illegal groups of rogue ninjas out there, but I don't wish to expend valuable time and resources on stopping them until they become a real threat to us.

Secondly, the ninja lifestyle has undergone a transformation. We have departed from the old-fashioned, 'traditional' way of life, and begun to take our cues from popular culture. We act in the way that people have come to expect. Take those all-black suits, for instance. Ninja never used to dress like that all the time, but we do under my rule, for two main reasons. One, they look cool. And two, you can hardly strike fear into the hearts of men if they don't recognise a ninja when they see one. If I were to leap from the shadows at an enemy, dressed in historical ninja garb, they would have no idea what I was supposed to be. Hence, we wear black and hurl shurikens, and do all manner of acceptably ninjish things.

Nextly, the ninja order is no longer an undercover organisation. Our services are widely advertised, and we have brought out our own range of ninja action figures. Last year, I managed to obtain a government grant, which allows us to buy more expensive weapons, as well as helicopters and motorboats. If all goes to plan, we will even be sponsored by Cadbury in a couple of months.

Admittedly, I am somewhat of a harsh leader, but it is all for the clan's own good. There have been a few uprisings against me; some ninjas resent the modernisation of the clan, and some are annoyed that I've lately been focusing all my attentions on taking down one particular crew of pirates. All these rebellions were easily quashed, of course, as the majority of clan members remain loyal to me. Any insurgents are dealt with in the usual way, and I'm likely to be leading the clan for many years to come.

So, there you have it. An insider view into the way of the ninja. And now I've told you all this, I'm going to have to kill you...

Nah, I'm just kidding. Or am I?

...Yeah, I am.

Bara- I feel unimportant... (even if I HAVE been out for 4 months).

Rogue ninjas: Those ninjas who felt that constant training, tough routines, and the harsh discipline under Master Larry-san's eye was too much for them, left the temples to find a better life. Taking their practices with them, they found they fared much better in the world around them, able to live in the worst of conditions, often building things to better their lifestyle in short periods of time. Some rogues even found their training to benefit them as assassins for hire, bodyguards, and the like. After a short period of time, some of these former ninjas found themselves joining the pirates. Though they hate to admit it, they do indeed enjoy the company of pirates (well, most pirates) and some even try to vouch for peace between the pirates and ninjas. However, these rogue ninjas have been noted as extremely accomplished at killing ninjas in recent battles, and should be a force to be reckoned with.

There. For those of you here at the beginning, this should explain a bit of my fighting style. See you at the battlefields, mateys!
