There is not a consensus, let us evaluate opinions.

You were not in the Citizens group.

I'm okay with either the second or third option. Is there consensus that the first option is a poor choice?

So it would appear.

I'm not allowed to vote?

I'm down with the 2nd option...

I didn't think you cared about regional politics?

In any case, it's based on who's in the Citizens group which was the citizens assembly which later renamed itself back to the Senate.

If people suggest I change this, I will.

I became a member of the Senate.  I started to get involved as some members of the RP were leaving due to "political reasons."  I always thought that the RP and Tai Politics should be separate.  I figured getting involved would give me perspective and perhaps get things done favorable for me and the RP overall.

But then the RP seemingly died and thus I had left NS in general until recently.

Ah I see. Well I guess that means you were probably in the Senate when everything went on hiatus, so I'll move you to that group.

OTHER: How about we just vote for another Delegate, then give "power of the delegate" to a designated minister that is approved by the senate until we have the newly elected Delegate. We can do this, it's not like we're a real country or anything.

That's really a vote for a Minister selected; the issue of how long the successor serves is separate, and I believe the constitution has them serve only until a special election.

Indeed:
" If four weeks have passed since the beginning of the last Delegate election or the office of Delegate is vacant, a Delegate election will be held. "

Yes, but that was written with the intention that the interim delegate would not be directly elected; if we do go through all the effort of making sure there's a vice delegate elected on the same ticket they may as well serve out the whole term; in fact we decided that under the first constitution.

The point is Oz was really voting for option 3.

I would actually be an advocate of having the Vice Delegate be a second place winner, but that doesn't seem to be in the running.

I think a ticket system is the best in this regard. It gives the VD some clout and influence if he has to act as Delegate.

In the interests of resolving this, I have removed my vote to end the tie.

co-elected Vice Delegate it is, unless we get more votes.
