What is your two most favoritist stories in VotP Volume 2, Issue 1?
Double bonus points if you post which is your #1 and #2.
Extra super double bonus points if you post why you liked it.
Extra super double mega plus bonus points if you say which story you liked the least.
:fro:

#1 Ads because of the recruitment poster for the militia which was fucking brilliant, along with the "Did you know"s.
#2 Fresh Blood because it was comprehensive and entertaining.
I liked least that we don't have the images from the pdf in the text version.

1 - Extreme Cooking because that is just funny and I never thought my kitchen incident would be here, lol.
2 - WA Scandal because the idea of someone getting high on bad resolutions makes me chuckle.
However ben, in the future please ask permission before using moments from someone's real life.

Hey,
How is your arm? I might use that story if I need some filler space.
You had your chance to object, so don't lecture me, son. (http://bigbaldben.com/emoji/thumbs-up.gif)

Let's not get into that kind of argument please. In the future, RL stuff need to be permitted, many folks around here value their RL info a lot more than normal human beings, "no objection" doesn't work in this case. I don't think there has been any h-arm done so let's keep it chilled.

Ok, good to know and I'll avoid that in the future.
Reading it this morning, my reaction came across more harsh than I meant it - I did feel like I was being put on blast for something that was already addressed. But still, CoS was polite about it and I was not.
Sorry, CoS, for snapping at you!

No worries ben. :)

Thanks. Please feel free to smack me down on occasions where grumpy old man takes over my better judgment. I tried to get him into a retirement home, but no one will take him.

I liked least that we don't have the images from the pdf in the text version.
I'll try to remedy that. I need to get more familiar with the bbcode here.

I mean seriously the Ads were amazing but only pdf version viewers are going to see. I would just advise uploading them to the wiki then use [img]Fancy images[/img]

Does the 20000 character limit on posts count BB code? Even if it does I suppose I could still pull out a less important story to create room.
-
It unfortunately does.
-
I initially only read the text version - the comments about the ads got me to get the pdf, and they are very impressive!

My only complaint is that it wasn't dated in our Revolutionary Calendar (http://forum.taijitu.org/the-ecclesia/revolutionary-calendar-ar-1-(2014-2015-os)/) :-P

Ok, I gave it a shot on this thread. Did I do it correctly - not sure about the order? If good, I'll change the others...
