VOTE DAMMIT.
-
I believe in kindness.
Then again, I believe people have to accept other peoples opinions without whimpering on about being "offended" by said opinions.
Democracy depends on freedom of speech!
ps: Overly obnoxious comments only give away the immaturity of the poster and can't be taken seriously. ds.

hm, troll away, this is the internets after all.
-
I do not think all oppinions should be accepted however and see that as a very dangerous path indeed.
I do occationally troll religious fundamentalists, extreme libertarians and "men's rights activists" on youtube and other commentary fields and oppose them at every turn, just like I oppose and attack bigotry, racism, fascism and various totalitarian versions of socialism.

lmao, nobody likes to be the troll
-
Only three votes? Where are the Taijituan trollmeisters I once knew?
P.S. this poll sux lol

Trolling, by definition, is purposeful. Different than accidentally pissing someone off. :) At least, that's my opinion.

LOL NOEZ U SUK!
/me clears the troll from his throat.
I would say that it definitely has to be intentional, though I don't think somone actually becoming upset is a prerequisite for something to be trolling.

Nah never!
But seriously, when you dish shit prepared to get hit. Either by the badmins or the members themselves.
I grew up in two scenarios, first outside of Chicago and later outside of Dallas. Both have their mean and rude people, but in the south they mask it with false courtesy. So much so that a nice set of people never learn that there are mean people in life. Those oblivious southerners, usually very conservative christian, get too upset when a rude person honks at them and tell them "fuck you!".
I pay no mind to these people. Yesterday in Chicago I was almost hit by a car while crossing a pedestrian zone, and the woman shouted at me "Move it asshole!" I was more amused than pissed (though I was pissed at the moment because I was almost struck by a car), but tying that with trolling on the internet. Situations like that in real life are just the same as people on the internet, but people on the internet have anonymity so you see more of them. Also there's no real life consequences like say vehicular manslaughter. If these people did this in a crowded room full of strangers, it'd never happen. They'd feel too embarrassed.
What I'm trying to say, don't pay mind to trolls, and the best remedy is to just laugh along with it. There are serious situations that could arise out of trolls like maybe a mass doxx situation, but otherwise it's all just words on a screen meant to bug you. It's not as serious as a rude person behind a car.

I wish this were true, but they're still quite angry and I feel horrible about it.
