DAILY POLL SPECIAL: NEW YORK METS

Mets weren't that great of a team during the '14-'15 season, but during the last bit they charged ahead to make it into the playoffs. Daniel Murphy especially was a nobody, his top amount of home runs was this season, and it was only 14 (that's out of like 100 games). SUDDENLY, he makes 7 homers, 6 games in a row. He is tied for fourth EVER for number of homers in post-season games, and he is first in most consecutive home run post-season games.

Not to mention, fucking mets getting special privilege from ESPN announcers and umpire calls, calling strikes on cubs when the ball is way off the base and balls on cubs pitches that are clearly over the base.

NOBODY IS FUCKING ADDRESSING THIS. THEY THINK WOW WHAT AN ATHLETIC TEAM. THEY WERE NOBODIES, THIS IS OBVIOUSLY JUICING, FUCK THE METS.

I didn't pay a lot of attention, since I'm an Orioles fan and thus do not like baseball.  But wasn't the Mets' pitching rotation just an absolute beast this season?  I haven't heard of juicing be particularly useful for pitching.  I'd blame it on that rather than on Murphys performance.  There are always examples of guys who sick in the regular season and somehow just turn it on in the postseason - at least in football.

The Mets are too close to the Yankees for me, and I can't help but root for the Cubs.
