I think in the future, as electronic media becomes cheaper and more accessible, physical books will become a privileged item for people who can afford them - like the New York Times.

I actually had to google this to make sure it wasn't a Talking Heads lyric.
Today's date is: Today is Jocidi, 5 Cielidor AR 5 - Day 1770 of the Glorious Revolution.

Many trials make manifest
The stranger's fate, the curses' bane.
Many touchstones try the stranger
Many fall, but one remains.

In the future, water will be very expensive.

In the future, all material objects will be free.

In the future, everyone's house will be like a little fortress.

In the future, everyone's house will be a total entertainment center.

After the World Religious War, those who survives (if any), will have to redifine culture. Books will then be the most accessible source of information since the electronic systems we have today most probably will not be functional...

or, they still are, they still influence people, and influential people still write books, they are still the main source of political thesis, they are still the main source for university researches, they will be relevant for many generations to come. Have you ever heard a hipster saying "this blog changed my life, you should read it"? if you have...which I start to think it may be possible, it's very sad.

shame on you Eluvatar, you keep telling us to read Worm.

Dude Worm is fucking life changing. Read it, definitely worthwhile. Then again I want it in hard copy as a volume of books but such is a distant dream.
