Title: Founder Election Results
Post by: Eluvatar on June 23, 2011, 10:40:57 PM
The Election (http://www.cs.cornell.edu/w8/~andru/cgi-perl/civs/results.pl?id=E_69d50e965783a1ce) has concluded.

Under the Schulze method, which Taijitu used in the past, and under two other methods, we have our results:

1. Eluvatar  (Condorcet winner: wins contests with all other choices)
2. Sovereign Dixie  loses to Eluvatar by 10–4
3. Gulliver  loses to Eluvatar by 13–0, loses to Sovereign Dixie by 7–4
4. PoD Gunner  loses to Eluvatar by 9–4, loses to Gulliver by 7–6
5. Myroria  loses to Eluvatar by 12–1, loses to PoD Gunner by 9–4
6. Limitless Events  loses to Eluvatar by 13–1, loses to Myroria by 8–4
7. St Oz  loses to Eluvatar by 14–1, loses to Limitless Events by 10–4

One can look in further detail at the election page because I am lazy.

So, as we voted to have 5 founders, our 5 founders are:

1. Eluvatar
2. Sovereign Dixie
3. Gulliver
4. PoD Gunner
5. Myroria

What we have left to decide is the rules. Since there have not been objections to the latest proposal for some time, I will simply hold a referendum on them.

I would also like to hear the input of the five remaining original founders, Sovereign Dixie, PoD Gunner, Eluvatar, Myroria, and St Oz.

I vote to approve of the decision of the citizens.

You're like the wind...

Ok so now what. Are we postponing this on purpose?

For my convenience, I asked 3 of our citizens who had out of date forum email addresses (that don't work) to update them. One of them has, the other two have not. I can try and dig through my IM records for what they said their new email was back when it came up during the referendum.

I'll do that.

Presumably he needs their email addresses?

I wanted to simply vote on the bylaws with CIVS.

It seems I shall have to dig up the 2 emails in question myself.

Roger. K, seems like nobody else is in a hurry either but I believe we should wrap this up.
