Thousands upon thousands of rays block out the sun, causing the combatants to be unable to see. Whereupon they are torn apart by hundreds of sharks.

the chaos ensues...until the sun finally starts to set.
vast armies torn to chum and the scavengers begin their feasting. the tides become red, and the blood washes to the shore.
glowing jellyfish dance in the moonlight and a quiet fisherman sits in his sloop watching. a quiet breeze rustles his sails as he puffs at his tobacco.
the first mate sits on deck, mending an old net torn from a skirmish with the sailfish earlier that morning. as he spins the knots with his nimble fingers he faces starboard, and awaits the captains orders.
"Left tenant Briggs!" shouts the captain from inside the bridge. "Inform the Boatswain to slack the main sheet and raise the Jib, we're going to attempt a fly by night."
"AYE cap'n, whats our bearing?"
"south, we'll bait her while she hunts."
the left tenant carries out his orders and retires to his berth.
Hours pass and the shores diminish. they are in open waters now. tales of fish who talk to one another, temptresses of the depths, sirens and monsters, all rooted from this uncharted part of the world.
the left tenant awakes to the waves slapping against the hull, a sure sign that a storm is brewing.
thunderclaps roll in and out of the now dark night-as if the moon had been up and swallowed by this devilish storm. The captain stood on deck with his slicker, eying the waves almost obsessively.
and finally the crewman atop the crows nest spots it.
"THE PRIZE!!! HALF A LEAGUE TO PORT!!"
the captain snapped into action and wrenched the wheel from the helmsman. "ALL HANDS ON DECK!!"
the storm Flashes and the waves list their ship to and fro, but they stay on course. the men are ready, armed to the teeth, Harpoons,Gaffs and plenty of line. All they need is the capns order. the Waves become massive, the lightning flashes and out of the depths of blackness rises the behemoth: The TAIJITU TURTLE BEAST!!!

Armies of Marlin, Sword fish and Saw fish all swimming in perfect formation approach the carnage. Each school in a square formation. Their terrifying presence strikes fear into their foes for these are... The Armies of the Alliance of Elongated Weapon-like Snout Fish or AEWSF for shot. In the lead is Supreme Command Fish Marlin Fishfinder, the feared general of the seven seas. The front formations are the Marlins, toting laser blasting snouts , protecting the melee based sword and snout fish.
The First ranks of the Marlins were finally within blaster range. In command of these first battalions was Lead Fish Marlin Blacknose, he was an experienced officer and quick on his tail. Instantly following the orders previously given to him he gave the command to fire "All Marlins open fire!!!". The area lit up with green blaster bolts eminating from the snouts of the Marlins driving into the flanks of those already in the battle.
