Your report states that your dry-docks are  closed.
We would like to offer you the following contract.
Reopening of 2 dry-docks of 400 meters length to construct large cargo vessels and Crude oil carriers.
We would pay for retooling the docks and for repair work.
Employing workers from your country to construct at least 1 vessel of each type per year.
We would support electronics and engines while you would construct the hulls.
All system integration work would be done at your site.
You would be paid for construction work and provided half the gain from later sales.
However at first we would build these ships for our own use.
Please state if you want changes made in the contract.

The LA is in need of large troop transports for our military. Since our own shipyards are occupied with other projects, we will like to outsource to you.

We require a ship class in the tonnage range of 30 thousand to 50 thousand, with a troop carrying capacity of 2500 in tight quarters. The ship class will need to be able to reach 20 knots fully loaded and be able to carry enough supplies for three months in open seas. A small crew complement will be desirable.

We are prepare to to order 50 ships in total, and willing to pay up to 35 million dollars for each.

We require a ship class in the tonnage range of 30 thousand to 50 thousand, with a troop carrying capacity of 2500 in tight quarters. The ship class will need to be able to reach 20 knots fully loaded and be able to carry enough supplies for three months in open seas. A small crew complement will be desirable.

We are prepare to to order 50 ships in total, and willing to pay up to 35 million dollars for each.


Due to the Docks just opening we cannot supply you with that amount of ships at the moment for that price. If you would like it sooner then it is suggested that you send workers of your own to help lighten the load that our dilligent workers are right now. We would love to negotiate this contract.

Due to our Bad winters we recieve we are sad to say that our docks are in a bad case of disrepair. It will most likely be set back due to the condition. but we are willing to put all our manpower into the project.

As you have informed us in advance about these problems we will be able to solve them within a 4  month time span.
We already take preparations for the necessary repairs.

Please inform us how many workers you can deploy for assistance. Any further  manpower will be supplied by us, either using our workers or employing more people from your country.
Also we would like to replace part of your machinery with new equipment, depending on the age of your toolpark.
Also we would like to construct a new building for the cutting of steelplates and welding of segments.

As of now we have 7 million people available. Yet remember that these docks are huge. We will need more equipment for with the winter most of our equipment was ruined or in poor condition. Also we would like to implement some measures for work safety and environmental protection.
The list of measures to protect your workers and your environment  is below.

All workers will take part in a paid training course in the use of basic fire prevention and fire fighting.

The White Water Shipyards and Terrangar Oil Company will provide employees with the necessary training and safety materials.
All necessary safety measures will be included in the reopening of the yards.
All of the above also applies to environmental safety.

as of now we will supply 600 workers on it. The terms are agreeable but the Docks would like you to help fund a dock protection measures for when the rough winter comes. If you agree to do that then the docks repair shall commence immediately.

We appreciate your cooperation. The construction is now underway. With what we are doing and the rate at which we are going I am confident enough to give you a timeline of the project.


2 Months:
      Climate protection complete

3 Months:
      Extra building complete

3.5 Months:
      New Equipment Due to Arrive
      Start of construction of Dry Docks

4 Months:
      All old or damaged equipment due to be changed

5 Months:
      Dry Docks to be finished

After consideration we are wondering if you would assist us in building a containment field for the docks so our workers can work all year round. This building should be climate controlled.

This should cut your time estimates by half.

I am not sure what you mean with a containment field. If this is supposed to be a kind of force field to keep the weather out this will be a huge problem. this is the "Very close to real live RP thread" The mods check that there is no technology that's not available today. :shrug:

If you mean embankments to break the wind and reduce snow pile up than that is something completely different.

We are interested in acquiring a few new ships to complement our current Arvegovian Federal Navy.

Going through what you currently have to offer, we would like to order the following, for a starting order:

1 X Kuznetsov-class aircraft carrier
2 X Typhoon-class submarines

Are these ships nuclear powered?  I am curious.

If this order proceeds well, we may look to you as a supplemental supplier to our Federal Navy in future.

As putting the entire docks under a hangar structure is a great static problem and to some extend hinders operations we have instead build two assembly buildings were sections of the ships are build and then moved to the docks by portal cranes for final assembly. The long building in between is the welding and cutting building, also used for storage of long materials like pipes.
Every building has its own parts storage building. All units are attached to minimize exposure to the weather.

We have already a name for the Supertanker we will construct but would like to name the Ore Carrier "Briken Superior", if that proposal suit you.
Should you so wish we will extent reconstruction to further docks after this project is finished.

We accept your offer and will start on the subs. We will take longer than expected due to other orders expect the first sub done in 6 months. We hope you can cope with us for the time.



To part owner:

     I agree to the plan except we need a place to make subs so we can make both subs and ships simultaneously. I agree to the size. But we expect to make it larger in the future. The tanker will be the first ship that we shall make. We agree to the terms.

We propose the following.
We will assist you in opening further docks.
As our work crews work on both docks at the same time we can move personal to other docks as the work-phases progress.
Following is what we propose for a submarine dry dock.

One large fully climated building in which the entire hull can be constructed.
An additional dock in front of the building to put together the hull and conning tower.

On the matter of payment we will cover all costs under the following conditions. That we receive a equal share in earnings from sales of ships constructed in these yards.
We believe about 15% of total price to be a reasonable part.
