Motto and Regional Title

Recently I've heard some discussion that our regional motto ("We bow to no one") and our pretitle ("The Free Land of Taijitu") are feeling a little stale, and honestly I'd have to agree. I have some proposals here, and I strongly encourage people to submit their opinion as to whether we should change them, and to give some suggestions if so. I'll update this post with people's suggestions as they come up.

Regional pretitle:

The Ecclesia of Taijitu
The Revolutionary Democracy of Taijitu
The Citizens of Taijitu
The Populacy of Taijitu
The People of Taijitu

Regional motto:

Kill the king, spare the man.
All power to the Ecclesia!
Voulez-vous donc qu'on vous fasse des révolutions à l'eau-rose? ("Do you think, then, that revolutions are made with rose water?")
Concordia res parvæ crescunt, discordia maximæ dilabantur. ("By union the smallest states thrive, and by discord the greatest are destroyed.")
Taijitu: For the people, by the people.

I'll welcome a vote on this, but this doesn't matter much to me, in the premise of participation I'll suggest some stuff.

I'd suggest the pretitle as: "The Citizens of Taijitu" or People?

Motto: Taijitu by the People, for the People. (might be too cheesy)

I think the Populacy (a combination of the Latin world Populus, meaning "of the people" and the last part of the suffix "cracy", because honestly Populacy is mouch nicer sounding than Populacracy) of Taijitu either that of the People of Taijitu.

As for a motto I like "Voulez-vous donc qu'on vous fasse des révolutions à l'eau-rose?"

Updated the main post. My current inclination is that I like Delfos' "Citizen" idea, but perhaps we could style it as "The Citizens' Democracy of Taijitu"? I feel it might look better that way on the WFE or recruitment telegram. I would happily endorse "The Citizens of Taijitu" on seals or treaties, though.

As for the motto, my favorite is the "rose water" one but I also like the "unity" one Allama endorsed.

I like the "Citizens of Taijitu" idea, yet I am not really sold on the frenchy mottos. I will attempt a more clever motto when my mind is less addled by prescription pain management.

Nota bene, in terms of seals, the Ecclesia Seal we're currently using as a de facto region seal on updates says "Citizens' Assembly of the Free Region of Taijitu".

"Citizens" works as straightforward pretitle. None of the mottos proposed so far have really caught me, but I haven't exactly been able to think of anything better either.

I've also never had any problem with "Free Region". As noted, it's already in our seal. Though you could argue the title we use there and the one we use for any nation used by the region do not necessarily have to be the same.
