Hi people. It's mois, Stone Shark.   :fro:

I'm finding the current WFE a tad bit drab, so I have created a new design. Please feel free to comment on it and create your own.

I find the idea of a more muted color scheme appealing, actually. But I will defer to the expertise of our more artistically inclined members.

I like the greyscale color scheme as well! Seems less intense than the colorfest that most regions use, and as a bonus fits Taijitu's black/white color scheme.

My only comment is that the colors used for the four offices are the "official" color scheme for those offices; that being said, we already use those colors on the forum and I wouldn't be too concerned if they weren't on the WFE.

So would you like me to change the colour of the offices or not? I personally feel that in order to keep continuity within the colour scheme we should keep the offices Black and Grey. However I can change that if you like?   :)

My nitpick is the words which are alternating letters between black and gray are kind of obnoxious. They would be more clear if left as the opposing color to the surrounding sentence.

Seems ok, I'd still change the alternating shades on the list of the "government" to one color, gray possibly, but I'm ok with this design.

I would also change the alternating colors of the list to a single one. The coloring of the links also makes it a bit unclear that they're links, I think it would be preferable to allow a bit of color in those cases.

I have changed it so it is just one colour. However I kept it black to stay with the Colour Scheme, which I based on Taijitu's scheme.

My only concern is that it's not immediately obvious to me what things are links, since in one paragraph they're gray and in the next they're black. I was able to figure it out in a few seconds, but I can't speak for everyone who's going to see this.

IIRC you can't change the color of links in-game. They'll always be the generic NationStates/The Lexicon baby puke green.

That being said, upon thinking I do have one more comment. If it pleases the Ecclesia, could we perhaps put whatever we decide to use for a motto in the WFE as well?

As Eluvatar has pointed out, the proposal currently at vote actually won't work. I think it would be best if the current proposal were simply voted down and a corrected one reintroduced.

Simply change the code in the proposal! It would be a lot simpler and save time. The coding was messed up simply, just have it edited in the vote. It is in essence still exactly the same.

I'm merely saying don't vote it down and reintroduce it. Just change the code in the proposal so it actually works, we'll save time.

I did change the proposal at vote as you suggested. I just invented a minor legal fiction to justify it in order to assuage my inner pedant. I'm sorry I wasn't clearer to begin with >_<
