Today I received a TG from The Republic of United Regions Administrator (http://www.nationstates.net/nation=united_regions_administrator), inviting Taijitu to join an inter-regional organization. Below is the text of the telegram.

On behalf of the United Regions Alliance (http://www.nationstates.net/region=united_regions_alliance) Secretariat, I would like to enquire whether Taijitu (http://www.nationstates.net/region=taijitu) is interested in joining this multi-regional alliance?

The URA seeks to promote cooperation and friendly relations amongst regions and whilst relatively new, will host a wide range of activities such as an interregional olympics, role-plays, etc to do so, as well as providing collective defense for all member regions.

Thoughts: wooo, inter-regional affairs!

Opinions: I think there is no harm, but I'd like to know more about this, this TG seems too short but from their website it almost seems they're trying to be an actual "World Assembly" RP region. Might be too much work for us unless our Diplomat is up for the job, or an appointed citizen...

Blasphemies: Who in the name of God do they think they are asking us to join a puny fake UN? Who the fuck are they?

I agree with Funk. I think Taijitu has a certain reputation to not undertake these things lightly, so IMO any alliance we join must be worth it.

Not a fan. Looks like they're trying to re-create the RL UN system - and that doesn't really apply to NS.
