Holidays and Celebrations
« on: June 25, 2015, 01:32:54 AM »

Hey guys, I was reading through Taijitu's laws and stuff and I came upon The Holiday Act and I started thinking-
Should we have more Holidays?
According to records, we only have three official holidays- Founding day, Refoudning day, and Revolution day

I personally that having more holidays would have a number of benefits to our region
Having more events, first of all, would attract much more people to join our region- recreation is always a good think it include in our list of benefits when scouting out new citizens

Also, having more holidays, would just overall be a great thing for our region, for all of our citizens to come together and bond

And finally, recreational events are always good to keep citizens satisfied and distract them from the slow invasion of the illuminati- COUGH ER WAT

Anyway, the point is, having more Celebrations in my humble opinion would have a positive effect on our community

I would like to know what everyone else thinks before I bring this to the higher ups  :kitty:

I would be in favor of adding more holidays, but I'm not quite sure what exactly to come up with.

I'd also be in favor, but I echo not being sure of what to have. What events in our history do we want to commemorate? Alternatively they could be things unrelated to history.

As long as we dont go overboard, having too many holidays makes the whole system lose any meaning

Given that :P here are some random ideas

commemorate some nation/WA nation/del endo count milestone
not sure if it exists, but if theres a defining day in taijitu RP, perhaps that
major TaiMil victory

I motion for a holiday celebrating each season.
