Title: Holidays and Celebrations Part 2
Post by: Land of Thought and Flow on June 30, 2015, 02:26:33 AM

Thanks to all of the support and ideas collaborated in part one- I hereby propose the following celebrations to become National Holidays

(Pardon me if I am formatting this wrong I've never proposed a goverment document before)

Also take into mind that much of this information was made up for fun just to add some details
If any of you have better suggestions for Holiday Backgrounds feel free to let me know

Guillotine Day

Guillotine Day is a celebration of one of this region's most prized inventions- the
Guillotine
And even though the Public executions haven't happened in the land of Taijitu in over 100 years lets not forget how internationally famous we were in the weapons business
The Guillotine was a breakthrough in Killing-Science
The overall economy practically ran on the mass production of Guillotines and exporting them to other regions
We used to use that thing almost everyday right up until the giant prophesied Hippie Movement for told to us by our ancestors

FLASHBACK
Us: Hey! Hey guys! Check this out, we can kill people with this Guillotine thing
Ancestors: You young kids and your wacky gizmos!! Someday a bunch of hippies are a-gonna come and you'll see!! You'll all see!!
FLASHBACK OVER

And though now we all know better and that killing is "wrong" I think it's still important to celebrate the vast history of our region

Therefore I propose that on Guillotine Day we shall all celebrate through the following traditional activities:

These all seem reasonable enough
Let's move on shall we

Seasonal Festivals

Ok, so like, a long, long, LONG time ago... EONS AGO but not too many eons
Or not really eons, just long enough ago that it seems like legend

There were the four seasons
But instead of literal seasons dealing the rotation tilt and rotation
It was the physical human manifestation of each season
They all lived together and filmed a comedy TV sitcom based on there lives
Or so as the legend goes

In honor of this ancient myth/legend/folk tale
At the beginning of each season a festival is held to paralegal each season

The Winter Festival

Winter was the pessimistic one of the bunch
It was some what Tsundere, socially awkward, gothic, and preferred doing things solo, yet was also very intelligent

So in honor of Winter I propose the following activities

The Spring Festival

Spring, unlike Winter, was a social butterfly
It ran around all super cute manipulating people into it's own hijinks
So even though at a first glance Spring might seem like the cutest thing ever- Spring was actually a yandere pschopath

So, in honor of Spring I propose the fowllowing activites

The Summer Festival

Summer was hot headed, determined, ambitious, ignorant, and arrogant

Therefore in honor of Summer I propose the following opportunities

The Autumn Festival

Last but not least, there was Autumn, and Autumn was sensitive, creative, graceful, and an intellectual

And in honor of Autumn I chose the following activities

Anyway, this seems to be the end of the list so far

The dates for all of these are TBA

I you have any suggestions or questions let me know
