Cormac: Well, I am currently a Regional Assembly representative (an elected legislator) in Spiritus and a sergeant in the Spiritus Defense Force. I have re-applied for the Regional Assembly of The North Pacific, where I've had membership before. I have also founded a new region, Camelot, though it has been slow going, due in large part to computer problems for me over the past month. I'm not entirely sure about the future of that project.
In a recent interview with the northern lights, Cormac failed to proclaim his support for the Glorious Revolution, and he instead chose to acknowledge a lesser region called
Spiritus. This is an affront against the very honor of our region, and if he is to be ashamed of us, we shall be ashamed of him.
I hereby propose that we strip him of his citizenship as he has clearly violated the oath he made to uphold the Glorious Revolution.
I, (forum name) hereby in sober mind, and good conscious, hereby declare my loyalty to the People of Taijitu, to the principles which our state is founded upon, those being Direct Democracy, and Egalitarianism, I promise to uphold, as both a Citizen and Member of the Ecclesia, the Constitution, Bill of Rights, the Standing Ordinances of the Ecclesia and the Glorious Revolution, the laws which are currently in effect, and I understand that should I break my oath or any term dictated above I shall be prosecuted within the fullest extent of the law, in good conscience do I promise.
Clearly he chooses to uphold the principles of a
representative democracy rather than our flawless direct democracy. Though this proposal may never see a vote, I hope he knows that some of us are appalled to call him a Citizen of Taijitu. The Ecclesia deserves only honorable and passionate citizens that rightly uphold Taijitu's principles.
