Protest
« on: July 12, 2012, 01:38:47 PM »
I would like to file a formal protest that five issues were considered and acted on by the Senate, including its two Progressive senators, without polls even being created in the Progressive Party! This is a clear violation of [wiki=Document:Resolution_on_Founder_Nation_Issues]the Resolution on Founder Nation Issues[/wiki]!

Senators McMasterdonia and Myroria, please remember your commitment to our party ideals of democracy and transparency! Please remember your commitment to the Party Charter and therefore Party Resolutions!

Minister Gulliver! Please let someone know in future if you cannot post the polls as you normally do so they can do it instead!

This is definitely worth seven exclamation points!

RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE!

To be honest election had barely concluded, the issues were released and voted on by the senate. It all happened in very quick succession. I apologize for this, and agree that we need to involve our party members more so in future.
Ur a towel

Two issues posted! And actually any Senator or Minister could do what just I did and use the Taijitu Founder private RSS feed linked to from Cabinet Chambers and the Spoiler Sticky to post them!

As there are 10 ProP members, and I believe wast has declared an intention to not vote in these polls, the quorum for a poll to be binding is 5. The polls are supposed to be open for 3 days, and our senators are supposed to vote against any decision while they are open.
