I'd like to convene a Congress some time this Saturday or Sunday to settle on a solid program for the coming term, and perhaps instate some set method in our charter of adopting platforms prior to elections similar to how primaries work Which day and time is best for people?

I'd like to convene a Party Congress sometime this weekend to propose a capital for Taijitu Founder and discuss the Founder Nation Issues situation!

A congress open to non-members has been requested for Thursday, either at 17:00 UTC or at 23:00 UTC.

23:00 UTC is quite acceptable.
Today's date is: Today is Jocidi, 5 Cielidor AR 5 - Day 1770 of the Glorious Revolution.

Many fall, but one remains.

I would like to call a party congress. What times would be good? I'm thinking we should have it within the week.

How about Sunday at 1700 EDT? I think most of our members live on the east coast.

<@Eluvatar> btw Myroria you're kind of supposed to say waht the Congress will be about
<@Eluvatar> though it may be okay to just say it's about reforming and rebuilding the party in general, and that all parts of the Charter will be subjet to amendment
<@Gulliver> Is "things" an acceptable agenda
<@Eluvatar> and resolutions may be adopted regarding the degree of solidarity with the governing party and/or reforms to Taijitu in line with its agenda

Rethinking this, a Congress to make an unspecified amendments to the Charter doesn't quite satisfy the Charter, as it says:

Quote from: Charter
1. Any member may convoke a Party Congress whose business will be the adoption of a particular amendment to this charter.

What we could possibly do, if we think we want to amend the Charter, is schedule the Congress to repeal the Charter entirely (leaving the Party free to adopt a new one by natural law...)

I would like to call a party congress to consider a resolution regarding proposals to end the glorious revolution and to consider revisions to improve the efficiency of the party charter.

I ask party members to help schedule the Congress using this poll.
