My name is Slavnayaboda, and I have decided to start RPing here. I have some experience in post-by-post roleplay, but I'm always happy to learn more.
Comrade Commissar is a story about Lavrentiy Milyutin, the People's Commissar of the People's Commissariat for the Protection of the Revolution. The PCPR is Slavnayaboda's secret police, and as an oppressive Stalinist state, the leader of the secret police naturally holds a lot of power. Based in large part on the story
Lavrentiy Beria, Milyutin conspires to delay medical treatment for Slavnayaboda's leader following a debilitating stroke.
Beria delayed medical treatment for Josef Stalin for 12 hours following his own stroke, and once Stalin died Beria could hardly contain his excitement. He hurriedly left for Moscow in an attempt to take the reins of power, but was beaten there by Nikita Khrushchev and following a short struggle taken away and executed. In Slavnayaboda, however, the head of the secret police successfully becomes the country's leader.
After a few introductory posts, I'd like to open this RP to anyone else who would like to participate, but I'm not entirely sure of the political situation in Taijitu. Who would align with Slavnayaboda, if anyone? A communist, paranoid, Stalinist state does not always make the most friends. What conflicts might arise that could make for an interesting roleplay? I'd like some advice on these and other issues as my writing moves forward.
