Apparently Delfos is reading that he has been banned while attempting to log into the forum. I am formally requesting a full inquest be made.

Delfos was banned for due to posts he made near the start of his "arms calling" thread along with a PM sent by him to me. This action was a long time in coming based upon his history. If you want evidence of this talk to GMT about Delfos' kind words about a warning given a while ago.

Just so everyone knows it is a 7 day ban that is set to expire in 6 more days now

His ban was not for his use of spam pictures but his harassment of admins when given a warning to stop what he was doing> I'm tired of people abusing members of the admin team and saying they can get away with it

If a member of this forum harasses an admin or more and refuses to follow their warnings, you want to let the people decide...what?
I am aware of some things that might warrant this, but I would ask Limi to formulate a full account backing-up his decision.

When it comes down to it though, there are issues that are more of an in game gov't type of issue, and then there are forum offenses. While the former can oft be excused under the banner of free speech (something I do wholeheartedly believe in) The latter are the rules by which everything here, the people, the government, everything, has to function.
Admin abuse cannot be tolerated, and people can't go making the Admins out to be the bad guys when forum rules are enforced. Taijitu has some of the most liberal forum rules around as it is. I want to keep it that way, but at the same time, we must preserve that gossamer thread between libertarianism and anarchy.

I wasn't sure I had the authority to create new posts within the Delegates office. As the action was taken by the new government, it seemed relevant to me. Sorry.

btw, delfos left the in game region and expressed doubts about returning to the forum when i told him the ban was only a week in length, do i say congratulations to all the douches who've worked so hard to piss on him and kick him out? frankly, if i were he, this region as is is inhospitable and elitist, people piss on each other when they don't like each other... sure it's the internet and it happens, but when it's to the degree that someone feels they are not liked enough to return to the forum then there is a problem with the forum and not the person

Its not like anyone waged war for him to leave. He left of his own accord, after his ban he can come back.

A temporary admin. ban is meant as a cold shower. If Delfos claims it was too cold or that he drowned in it, that is too bad.
Swearing at an admin. and responding a nice reaction with more insults, is usually always a bad idea, some admins. may take it lightly, some will get pissed. If it breaks the rules of civility and decorum, it is punishable. There is always the road of a civil and objective approach, I am aware of no situation when an admin. of Taijitu has responded such an approach with insults or a ban. Just following your common-sense should be the right way to do it, I guess.
