Failure at Saskatoon
The Cree Civil War Going Bad For The Emperor
The Imperial Army of the Cree Tribes has been swept away from the city of Saskatoon by the soldiers of the Red Liberation Front. The lose at Saskatoon has pushed the Imperial Army across the central plains to the industrial city of Kerak. Kerak is an important center of the Confederacy of the Cree Tribes. A majority of the nation's tanks, planes, and other military weapons are made there. Emperor Paul I had issued an order to all his citizens and soldiers. "At Kerak, we will make our stand. Not one step backward. We will turn every block, every street, and every house into an impregnable fortress. Rise up, peoples of the Confederacy." The Red Liberation Front is now moving towards the city of Kerak. In respnse, Emperor Paul I has donned a military uniform and is now leading men to prepare the city for its defense. He had this to say. "I am a citizen of the Confederacy. I wouldn't be doing my duty if I sat back and let others fight for me. Besides, the people dont serve me, I serve the people."
The Red Liberation Front has sent an army south to the port city of Anchorage, the home base of the High Seas Fleet. But they were stopped by fighters, fire from the ships and a strong resistance force. Anchorage is the only city in eastern Cree that still is under the Emperor's control. The Emperor is still caling for allies in his struggle with the communists and their allies, the Gallipoli-Chinese State.

Marriage Proposal
The Emperor Paul I of the Confederacy of the Cree Tribes is the only member ofhis family who has a legitimate claim to the throne. The civil war that is tearing his country apart has let him see that if his line is to continue, he must marry. The Emperor is twenty-eight years old. He is asking for any of those who have daughters who don't have a claim to their own thrones to allow the Emperor to marry just one. He is willing to give an alliance and economic trade with the country of his bride. The Emperor will be hosting a party in his capital of Prince George. All monarchs are invited so are delegates of other contries. They must come with their daughter. Emperor Paul I will pleased to see the monarchs.

Evacuation of Anchorage
The siege of the port city of Anchorage has ended. With the lose of over twenty thousand troops as the High Command has stated, and the lose of the aircraft carrier Valley Forge, Admiral Donitz has pulled his forces out. The city was burned and the harbor was blown up and mined off. Our hearts go out to those who have lost their lives in the defense of the city.

Cease-Fire Called
The RLF Ministry and the Confederate government have agreed to a cease-fire on all fronts. The war that had started some time ago, is so far ended with the occupation of the eastern parts of the Confederacy, the destruction of Anchorage and Saskatoon and the loss of as many as one hundred thousand men, sources say. The summit has yet to have its location but will involve represeatatives from G-China, RLF, the Confederacy, Fenexia and others. We all hope that they can come up with a peaceful solution to this war.

Three Members of the Imperial High Command Arrested, Gen. Rommel Promoted To Chairman
This morning, three members of the Imperial High Command were arrested. The three were General Daniel Conrad, General Nicholas Argo, and Grand Admiral Dontiz. They were arrested for ordering the destruction of Anchorage without the consent of the Emperor or the Grand Council. As many as fifty thousand civilians were killed when the three military men carried out their evacuation of the port city. They will be held by government authorities in Prince George until the end of the war, when they will be tried by a court and if found guilty, they will be executed. General Xavier Rommel was promoted to Supreme Commander of the Western Front as well as Chairman of the High Command. Xavier Rommel was the commander of the army forces at Anchorage as well as the second in command of the defense of Kerak under the Emperor himself. His military service streaches back to the Imperial Cavalry. The new Chairman has replaced the three arrestees with a General Robert Talas, a General Oscar Pueblo, and promoted an Admiral Guy Truedeu to Grand Admiral of the Imperial Navy and Admiral of the High Seas Fleet. General Rommel promises changes in the military. He has taken nobility who have been given their ranks and replaced them with officers who are expereinced. General Rommel is currently making prepartaions with the Fenexian general in case the cease-fire fails.

Peace Summit Attacked, None Dead, One Injured. Talks Continue.
Today, the Summer Palace where the Canadian Peace Summit was being held, was attacked by an unknown terrorist group. The Imperial government says it might be Nationalist fundalmentalists. None were killed in the blast and a representative from Talmann was injured. The delegates were sent to an undisclosed location to finish the summit. From what this reporter has heard, the peace summit was going very well, and might be finished quickly with a solution. All of our hearts in the studio and across the Empire of Canada go with the injured Talmannian in the hospital.

Today, Emperor Paul I, in an effort to create a colonial empire, has created the Imperial Legion. The Imperial Legion is an elite branch of the Army, made up from the Alpini Guards, the Imperial Cavalry, and the Artillery Corps. The Legion is considered at division strength (10,000 men). The Imperial Legion will be a exploration force that will be sent to a desert region. They are being trained in desert operations as well as learning how to ride camels. The Imperial Legion will be leaving within the next month. They will be joined by settlers who wish to brave the desert heat and sun. The Emperor had this to say. "Here on our continent, there are two dominant countries: Myroria and Eluvantar. Both have colonies and can increase their influence here. To raise up into our own place in the sun, I have a goal that will involve us in colonizing other territories. I want to create a vast colonial empire. I want the Empire of Canada to be considered "the empire where the sun never sets." To be a power here on our continent, we need to look out to the world for colonies. I pray that we will raise up and become a regional power or even a world power. The Imperial Legion will be the ones responsible for bringing our dreams of a world empire into reality." The prospects of a colonial empire was met with great encouragement by the people. With the Civil War stopped with a cease-fire, the Emperor wants to waste no time in creating a dream that is a colonial empire.

Breaking News!! Peace Summit Ends!!
Today is a great day for the Empire of Canada. The Peace Summit ended with an agreement. The Emperor who just not long ago, recieved word that a compromise was reached. Emperor Paul I has agreed to the terms that the Empire be turned into a constitutional monarchy with an elective government. The RLF forces and the Imperial Army met at the front and soon laughs and cheers were heard from all along the front. Yuri von Hessian, the Premier of the Red Liberation Front has abolished the militia and has declared the People's Socialist Party. Chancellor Morena has announced that elections will be held. But today, we must remeber those who gave their lifes in this fight. The Emperor is declaring today, Remeberance Day. So every year at this time, if the Empire is fighting a war, the guns will fall silent on this day. Today is the day that the Empire of Canada will remeber for all eternity. The day we saw peace. On the graves of those who fell, red poppies bloomed, so from now on, poppies will be worn on this day. Remember the Fallen, Remember Remembrance Day.

Elections End With A New Chancellor
This morning, Yuri von Hessian, leader of the People's Socialist Party, was declared the new chancellor of the Empire of Canada. His first act as Chancellor was abolishing the Grand Council of Nobles. He then replaced it with a Parliament. Out of the seventy-five seats, the People's Socialist Party won forty, the Conservative Party won thirty, the Republican Party won three, the Traditionalist Party won one, and the Nationalist Party won one. Parliament passed a new Canadian constitution, making the Empire of Canada a constitutional monarchy with a parliamentary democracy. Emperor Paul I welcomes these new devlopments and was even given a permanent seat in Parliament.

Invasion of Annabe, Empire of Canada Responds
Yesterday, military elements of Myroria moved in and invaded Annabe. The government here in the Empire of Canada were furious. The Fourth Army moved up to the Canada-Annabe border. Also General Xavier Rommel moved the Second and Third Armies to the Canada-Myroria border. The General had this to say to reporters. "This forced annexation of Annabe by Myroria is wrong. This will give the Myrorians a border with New Deflos, a country friendly with the Empire of Canada as well as a northern flank with our nation. I have moved in armies to defend our borders and those are the only orders that they are recieving at the moment. I personally will be leading the Fourth Army at the Annabe border. There are many countries that don't what Myroria to gain a foothold in that region. This recent event has so far not disrupted the peace that we are trying to get back here in Canada, but we will not let others to become victoms to this forced annexation." At this point in time, Chancellor von Hessian has called up mobilization and the reserves. They will be ready within the week.

Declaration of War! The Empire Strikes Back!
In response to the Empire of Canada's entry into the Pax Imperium Alliance, Chancellor Yuri von Hessian and Emperor Paul I have declared war on the Democratic States of America, a country currently at war with the Confederate States of Sovereign Dixie and the Commonwealth of Inglo-Scotia, two allies of our Empire. The First Shock Army and the High Seas Fleet has been sent out to the Western Front of Sovereign Dixie. In the short months since the Civil War, the Canadian military has increased from two million to a full seven million strong. Admiral Guy Trudeau is leading the fleet elements in this war and General Nicholas Cook will be leading the ground forces. Chancellor von Hessian said this. "We will pervail. We will see this country of Sovereign Dixie an independent country. I will send the High Seas Fleet and the First Shock Army, and later they will be joined by more soldiers as time passes. Victory for the Confederacy, the Commonwealth, and the Empire!"

New Queen of Annabe
Princess Jordan of the Empire of Canada has been declared the Queen of Quebec, formerly the nation of Annabe. This political move was an idea made by her brother, Emperor Paul I. It was approved by two nations of St Oz and the Kingdom of Myroria. These two countries were about to wage war over Annabe, but were able to accept the rule of the Canadian emperor's sister. Queen Jordan has stated that she will reinstate the Parliament and declare a new Prime Minister. The new Quebecois constitution will also be similar to the Canadian constitution, making the Kingdom of Quebec, a constitutional monarchy with a parliamentary democracry. The newly formed Royal Quebecois Armed Forces will also be used to fight the Democratic States of America. The Queen has already approved the new Quebecois uniform. We here in Canada welcome the Kingdom of Quebec into our Empire.

The Emperor and Empress of Canada
God has been good to the Empire of Canada. A war-torn country has turned into a regional power and has spread into a colonial empire. Now for the first time, since 1997, an Empress is in Canada. Today, Emperor Paul I married Selene Shanye of Fenexia. The wedding was meant to bring the two countries closer as allies. The new couple hadn't met till the day of the wedding, but as the press and the guests saw, there was love between the two. After the wedding ceremony, Patriarch Jager, leader of the Lutheran Church of Canada, declared Selene, Empress of Canada and Queen of the Cree Nations and the Imperial Dominions. New River Monitor Being Built
The Naval Department of Devlopment has released its new river monitor that will be used in all major rivers in the Canadian colonial empire. This new vessel has been built like a navy U-boat but has two 76mm naval guns near the tower. The ship will patrol wide rivers and coastlines and will be able to bombard invaders. The Naval Department says the this new "crocodile fleet" will be joined with the Imperial Coastal Defense Fleet, thus making it the largest fleet in the entire navy. The monitor will be 110 meters long and will be heavily armoured, able to withstand blows from the even the heaviest of artillery shells. This "river battleship" will be tested out on the Viceroyalty of Metis. If it is found to be a useful weapon, then the navy will approve it and have it commissioned to the entire empire.

Battle of the Pacific Begins, Canadian Victory at Opening Phases
The High Seas Fleet, the elite battle fleet of the Canadian Navy, won the opening stages of the Battle of the Pacific against the Democratic States of America. The High Seas Fleet had been ordered to hunt down and engage the DS Pacific Fleet. After the destruction of the DS Atlantic Fleet at the hands of the Commonwealth of Inglo-Scotia, this was the only fleet able to challenge the Commonwealth and the Confederate fleets. But, the High Seas Fleet found them first. For over an hour, the two navies battled it out on the surface and under the surface of the Pacific Ocean. The High Seas Fleet was outnumbered, but even that didn't phase them. The Canadian fleet under the command of Guy Trudeau overwhelmed the DS Pacific Fleet and forced it back to San Fransisco. Throughout this battle, there were tales of heroism. The most popular was the efforts of the HIMS Vancouver. The Toronto-class cruiser under the command of Captain Jack Cabot, engaged three DS warships and sank them singlehandidly. The Vancouver wasn't the only vessel that needs to be recongnized. The Oberon-class submarines of the Third Battle Squadron fought DS submarines and were able to destroy them and even attack the DS Pacific Fleet's flagship DSS Thomas Jefferson. The captains of the submarines and the Vancouver have been awarded for their bravery with the Cross of the Canadian Empire, the Cross of Valour, and the newest medal of honour, the Selene Cross. But in war, there are casualties. This was no exception. The following ships went down in the fighting:

New Titles for the Imperial Family
In light of the recent creation of the Canadian colonial empire, the Canadian Parliament has decided to grant Emperor Paul I and his wife Selene Artorion new titles. The first will be the abolishing of the ranks of Emperor of Canada and King of the Cree Nations, and replacing it with the title, Kaiser and Kaiserin of Canada. This rank combines the rank of Emperor of Canada and King of the Cree Nations into a single title. The title Emperor and Empress will be now used as the Emperor/Empress of the Imperial Dominions. The offical changing of titles will begin when the couple returns from their wedding in Fenexia. But unoffically, the Parliament and the rest of the Empire are using the titles now. The changing of the title was to show dominance among the other leaders of the Empire's Dominions. Queen Jordan and Vicroy David Morena now answer to a higher power than the Emperor, they answer to the Kaiser and the Kaiserin, or King-Emperor.

Coalition Treaty Signed Today
Today, on the Canadian Independence Day, a treaty was signed between the governments of New Delfos and the Empire of Canada. The treaty is by what sources say an economic and protection pact. The creation of a Delfo-Canadian Coalition is now building. The treaty states that the two countries will protect each in the times of war with the creation of a Delfo-Canadian Coalition Force. Also if a war between the UASS and the Pax Imperium alliances breaks out, that these two countries will never meet each other on the battlefield. Also new trade routes will be built to further strengthen the two nations. The public has seen this treaty as a sign that the government wants peace and harmony with its neighbors. We see it as a way to create a stronger New Delfos and a stronger Canada.

New Naval Program Starting Up
The High Command has created a new naval program called the 300-ship Navy. This program will increase the Canadian oceanic fleet from 145 ships to 300 as well as modernize the Imperial Canadian Navy. The program will involve the increase building of the Halifax frigates, Iroqious destroyers, Oberon submarines, and the Toronto-class cruisers. Also it will involve the creation of a Nimitz-8 program, a Artorion-3 program and Ontario-class program. The Nimitz-8 program is a code-name for the building of 8 Nimitz-class carriers to go with the single Nimitz-class that the ICN already has. The Ontario-class program will be the new battleships that the Navy will build. These battleships will be resembles to the American Iowa-class battleship. The Artorion-class program is a program that will create the largest aircraft carrier in the world. The three Canadian Artorion-class supercarrier will be over 1,000 feet long. According to the High Command and Military Devolpment, the three supercarriers and the battleships will be first priorty in this military build-up. The 300-ship program will be the largest military build-up in Canadian history. The modernizing of the Canadian Navy comes with three causes. The first is the thiness of the Navy fighting in America, the second is the fear of world war, and the third is the creation of the Delfo-Canadian Coalition. The High Command has decided that if the Canadian Empire is to survive, the navy must first be ready to its fullest potential. Later, the Canadian Army will also be modernized with newer weapons and equipment. According to sources, the first two Artorion supercarriers will be assigned to the High Seas Fleet in the Battle of the Pacific against the Democratic States of America and the other will be used to join a joint Deflo-Canadian naval defense program.

Admiral Donitz and One General Found Guilty, Both Executed
Admiral Donitz and General Daniel Conrad were found guilty this morning of multiple homicide and carrying out the destruction of Anchorage without the consent of the Kaiser or the Grand Council. The two men had admitted to being associated with a Nationalist fundamentalist group called the White Army. The two men are sentenced to death by hanging. The third arrested soldier, General Nicholas Argo was found innocent due to a lack of evidence against him. General Argo has been returned to his former rank, but will not return to High Command. General Argo is a member of the Nationalist Party, but has not been found connected to the White Army.
The White Army is a fundamentalist group that is involved with three failed terrorist attacks against the workers of the new CGV lines in northern Canada. The terrorists were caught and executed by firing squad. The White Army leadership is still unknown, but rumors say that the White Army is run by a political organization that many Nationalist politicans are part of. The name of the organization is still unknown.

New Fighter Jet Released for First Tour of Duty
The Department of Military Advancement has finished with it's new design for a stealth-capable strike fighter called the CF-35 Lightning II. This new aircraft can to tactical bombing, ground strike and air-to-air combat. This new weapon of war wasn't released to the press or to the public until just recently. The government had kept this project underwraps. Military sources say that this new fighter will be sent immeditatly to the American War, to replace the aging CF-18. The CF-18 is too similar to the American F-18, so the new CF-35 will be a great addition to the Air Fleet. General Rommel had this to say. "The CF-35 is an advanced piece of machinery. It has stealth capability that will protect it and the pilot from enemy SAMs and radar. We have recieved too many reports of confusion when our pilots fight the Americans. So this new fighter will change that. It is also one hell of a fighter. This jet will outfight just about any modern fighter. We expect good things from this new plane. Already, these planes are coming out of the production line. In a few months, the entire CF-18 fleet will be replaced with this new fighter."

Anchorage Finally Finished
Ever since the Civil War a year ago, the city of Anchorage was finally rebuilt. The Takasian and Fenexian soldiers who helped in the reconstruction alongside the Canadian workers and soldiers were invited to a feast and a grand parade is scheduled. Ever since the city was destroyed by the late Grand Admiral Donitz, the city has known pain. But now the city is returning to it's former place as the greatest port city in the Empire of Canada. A beautiful statue was erected in the city's center to honor and remember those who died in the delibarate attack by Donitz and the siege. The Chancellor will be making an appearance at the parade.

A Republic Has Been Created
The strange broadcast over televisions all over the Empire has said one thing. A republic has been declared. A terrorist republic. The Republic of Canada is the name of the terror group in the Canadian northern territories. Minutes after the broadcast, our news station recieved a message from someone calling themself, the President of the Republic. The message said that the Republic will not stand by and let their southern brothers be alienated by the Empire. In response, they have kidnapped four more CGV rail workers. The Canadian Army has responded and has so far pushed the Republic from the most of the CGV lines. The northern lies closer to New Delfos are still threatened. Queen Jordan has also responed by sending in a force of two thousand Quebecois soldiers. The Delfians have also sent in a force of two thousand. Canada has ordered three thousand men north to battle the Republic. So far, they are being stopped by gurellia attacks, but the bulk of the White Army is not engaging either the Canadians, the Delfians, or the Quebecois. Chancellor von Hessian has launched an investigation on the Nationalist Party. So far, no evidence has placed the Party in collabration with the Republic.

Battlecruiser Hailed as Pride of the Imperial Navy
The Toronto-class battlecruiser HIMS Vancouver has been hailed as the Pride of the Imperial Navy by the High Command and the Chancellor. The Vancouver is the largest non-aircraft carrier warship in the Imperial Navy at 860 feet. Her first tour of duty was the Battle of the Pacific. There she outfought three warships alone and open fired on the DSN Thomas Jefferson, the flagship of the DSA's Pacific Fleet. She has now been used to destroy coastal defenses and bombard cities in the DS. The Vancouver is winning a reputation as the "Fortress of the Sea". She has never been hit from enemy fire in any battle she has fought. This vessel is the embodiment of the Canadian Empire. Today, the Pride of the Empire will return home for her ceremony.

Foreseeable Victory for Allies
The battles in northern Canada against the White Army or Republic of Canada have been all in the Allies' favor. The opening days of the campaign, battles were attacks from small units, mostly mounted infantry. But now with the introduction of the Barakarin National Civil Guardsmen and the Fourth Army, the war is going in our favor. Marshal Xavier Rommel has been leading an allied army of Canadians, Delfians, Quebecois, and Barakarins. The battles that these soldiers have fought have led them to the final showdown; the Battle of Mount Logan. The White Army dug in around that mountain, in an attempt to halt the advancing Allies. But the White Army forgot about tanks. The Canadian Leopard 2s, the older Quebecois Leopard 1s and the Barakarins M-1s have forced the White Army up the mountain. Marshal Rommel has not only been the hero in this war. A Major Paul Stone from Barakarin has been leading the NCG against the White Army. His victories have resulted in him recieving the Cross of the Canadian Empire and a knighthood. Major Sir Paul Stone is now leading his soldiers up the mountian to dislodge the final White Army insurgents.

Canadian Soldiers To Aid New Ally
After the coup in Abed-Nego, Emperor Shadrach was placed under house arrest along with his family. But last night, Canadian commandos freed the emperor and his family. The empress and their daughter, were sent to the Empire of Canada so they would be safe. Emperor Shadrach and his two sons stayed behind so that they could retake the nation. Shadrach has brought together an army of supporters. Some are members of the army while most are the various tribesmen. The entire Imperial Legion under the command of Colonel Tom Richards is in the north, strengthing the Abed-Nego Loyalists. The Empire of Christstan is sending 800,000 soldiers to fight as well as a considerable air force. We have reports of Myrorian soldiers gathering to head out to Abed-Nego. Chancellor Ramadon has increased his army from 200,000 to two million.

Creation of an Ardan Union
Today, certain nations are meeting in Halifax to discuss the creation of an Ardan Union. Trade, military, international relations and economy are all the goals that the Ardan Union will be about. It will be a way to open the borders, allow free trade, and also a way to say that not only as Canadians or Myrorians, but as Ardans we want peace. Chancellor Yuri and other national leaders are meeting in Halifax to discuss the creation of a Constitution of the Ardan Union and the creation of many other systems in the union. The Chancellor has said that this union will be a wonder step in the history of Arda and hopes that someday, the other nations of Taijitu can follow our example. The information into the Ardan Union is shady at best. The world leaders will know and then the public will know what the Ardan Union will do for our countries.

New Class of Submarine of the Imperial Navy
The Canadian Navy had been trying to modernize it's submarine fleet. The Canadian Navy has built seven of the Vanguard-class ballistic missile submarine and is wanting to build forty more. The expansion of the submarine fleet has prepared the Navy to create a Subcorps, compeletly separate branch of the navy. The Vangaurds are going to join the current Canadian subs: the Oberon attack sub, the Oberon II cruiser sub, and the Swiftsure attack sub. The ballistic missile sub will be a great addition to the current navy. It will carry mostly new cruise missiles and other large missiles to be able to attack both warships and ground forces. The Nationalist Uprising has fianlly been defeated. After the northern army was destroyed, the Fourth Army raced back to Winnipeg to stop a coup led by General Nicholas Argo. A Union of the Crowns
The Empire of Canada and the Kingdom of Quebec have agreed in a union of the crowns. Kaiser Paul and Kaiserin Selene will soon be the next King and Queen of Quebec. The two nations have already decided to combine into the Canada-Quebecois Empire. The two regions are semi-autonomus, but they still are subjects of the Kaiser. The public in both countries agree with their leaders. The Quebecois and the Canadians are awaiting to become closer brothers.

Regent of the Cree Dies Today
This afternoon, Shawnee II, Regent of the Cree Nations and the great uncle of Kaiser Paul passed away from natural causes. Shawnee will recieve a state funeral, and many leaders from around the world are going to attend. Shawnee II was the son of the great Cree King Shawnee I. After a long fought war, the Cree Confederacy surrendered to the Empire of Canada. Emperor George the Second married Shawnee's hier, making his descendants the legitamite Kings of the Cree. Shawnee was instrumental in the coup that disposed his nephew, George III. After the coup, Shawnee returned to the Cree Nations to govern over them in the name of the Kaiser. But this afternoon, he died at the age of eighty-four. The Regency will pass to Shawnee's daughter, the forty-six year old Irene. The new Regent has expressed great ethusiasium in taking her father's position, but at the moment, there is great grief across the Empire. They had lost a great hero. We send our condulances to the Imperial Family and to Irene.

Two Heroes Honored Today
Today, Marshal Xavier Rommel and General Thomas Richards were honored today with a new title. Xavier Rommel, as descibed by the Kaiser as the most brillant military tactitian in the Empire. The mashal had started out as a member of the Canadian cavalry and was recognized as a growing prodegy when he took command of the eastern Canadian front during the Civil War. He was able to halt the advance of the Red Liberation Front near the Myrorian border. Now he was the Chairman of the High Command. Xavier Rommel stopped the Nationalist Uprising and is currenyly fighting in Veramark. General Thomas Richards is the youngest of the members of the High Command. He was a sergeant in the Civil War and was promoted to colonel during the colonization of Nerubia. Now with the retirement of General Salem, Thomas Richards was given command of the Eastern Command Group and the rank of general. Marshal Rommel was given the noble rank of Duke of Halifax. General Thomas Richards will replace the incompenet Governor David Morena of Nerubia, as Lord Protector of Nerubia. These men are the pride of the Empire and will continue surge forward as heroes.

New Ship Class in the Imperial Navy
The commissioning of a new class of warship in the Navy was the excitement today. The Brandenburg-class frigate is an anti-submarine frigate that will also contribute anti-air capibilites. The unique thing to this ship is that it is stealth. This vessel will be built and issued to all the fleets, but the first ships will be given to the High Seas Fleet. This vessel is will also be used in the Defense Fleet, hunting the coasts for enemy subs. the Kaiser has remarked about the ships, saying that they will be a great addtition to the under-powered defense fleet. The Brandenburg frigates will be the backbone of the Canadian fleets.

New Military Bill Has Passed in Parliament
The Parliament has passed the Military Conscription Act today. This bill has been created in response to the near depression the country is feeling right now. The Act will lower the military to three million professional soldiers and will only go up in response to a war. The high-tech equipment that the military has is also making military service the doorway into poverty. The Navy will retire all aged ships like the Toronto-class battlecruisers. The Command Fronts will also be taken. The High Command will from now on lead the combined military together and not have separate fronts. The soldiers who will be retired will hereby be placed in the Conscription Corps. So in time of war, these citizen-soldiers can be called upon to fight again. The retired soldiers will be given jobs according to their current positions. Combat soldiers however will be placed in the Mandatory Job Skills Corps or the MJSC. There they will have good paying jobs until they can go out and find new ones.

A New Princess
The Kaiserin Selene who was not seen lately gave birth last week to Alia Artorion, the Crown Princess of the Empire. Celebrations broke out all over the empire and even on the war fronts. When Hoshi takes the throne, she will be the first ruling Kaiserin and Empress in Canadian history. The Kaiser and the Kaiserin are going to have a party in their summer house in Halifax. Diplomats and monarchs are all invited. This party will be the princess's coming-out party. The special guests are the princess's grandparents and the emperor and empress of Fenexia. The Empire is deeply proud of their royal family and this new princess is recieved by the nation as if it is their child. This has earned Alia the title "the People's Princess."

Wedding in Christstan, Queen Jordan is Marrying the Heir to the Throne of Christstan
The Emperor of Christstan and Kaiser Paul have both announced the marriage of Queen Jordan of Quebec to the Crown Prince of the Holy Empire of Christstan. The wedding is due to happen soon. The Imperial Family will be going to the wedding and so will many other monarchs and world leaders. After the wedding, the Emperor's daughter will then marry the Emperor of Myroria. In consquence, the various empires and kingdoms of Taijitu will now be linked together by bloodline. This is indeed a day to remember. The day that Christstan and Canada-Quebec become closer than ever.

Eastern Utopia Under New Management
The First Paratrooper Army under the command of General Thomas Richards arrived in eastern Utopia and claimed it part of the Canada-Quebecois Empire. The new Viceroy will arrive in a few days after the region is firmly under Canada-Quebec's control. This move was made in response to the New Delfo's and the Empire of Salestia's claims in western Utopia. A name for the new region is still in progress. After the UASS started to fall apart, the region of Utopia, which was basiclly a puppet nation of the alliance, became a race by former UASS nations to claim as much territory as possible. The Canada-Quebecois Empire however is not a former member of UASS. But they were welcomed to take eastern Utopia by Empress Barga of Salestia.

The Provisional Government of the People's Republic of Loyalist Has Been Created
In the aftermath to the war in Chinese Loyalist and the final destruction of the nation, Loyalist refugees fled to it's long-time ally, Canada-Quebec. The Canadian and Quebecois governments have allowed the creation of a provisional government in their nation. Many officals have commited war crimes and are being arressted and will be tried by the Canadian Supreme Court and then later will be handed over to the PI Council to be tried. However at this time over 40 million refugees have showen up in the nation's shores. The country is at this time mourning for the loss of their once-close ally and friend. But now there might still be hope, the Canadian government is thinking of moving the provisional government to a colony to have their own home. But right now the Provisional Government is trying to bring the Loyalists together. Our hearts go out to those that we lost.

Chancellor Xie Found in Canada-Quebec
Chancellor Xie, former leader of the People's Republic of Loyalist was found in a refugee camp in Canada-Quebec. He has surrendered to the Canadian government and has thanked them for trying to rebuild his nation. Documents from Chancellor Xie have been given to the Canadian government showing that he had no idea that a nucleur attack had been launched. Chancellor Yuri has allowed Chancellor Xie to return to his post and he is now the current Chancellor of the Provisional Government of the People's Republic in Ottawa. He is currently working to reunite his people in Canada-Quebec. The Acting Chancellor Jade has been moved from that post and is now Defense Minister and the Commander-in-Chief of the People's Army of the Provisional Government.

New Stealth Ships To Replace Battleships
The first two ships of the Zumwalt destroyer class have been delivered to the Canadian Navy by the Delfian Shipyards. They have been named Ottawa and the Quebec City after the capitals of the Dual Monarchy. These ships will replace the Ontario battleships that the Canadian Navy prides themselves off. The Zumwalt destroyers are fast and sleek like a destroyer but have the power of a battleship and a missile cruiser. They are around 600 feet long and are well armed.The Canadian Naval Development and the Delfian shipyards have paired together to create better versions. The Canadian Navy was so impressed with these ships that they have ordered twenty more.

A New Home For Loyalist Refugees
The Canadian and Quebecois governments have set aside a large piece of land between the borders of the two regions for use by the Provisional Government of Loyalist and the refugees from the war-torn country. This new land will be run by the Provisional Government and will be given home-rule by the Imperial government. Corperations and building busnisses are offering their services to create Loyalist towns and cities. Construction of the first city and the future capital of this new state has begun. It will be named New Anyia in honor of the capital of the Loyalist. These constructions will take between five to ten years. The Canadian government is appealing to the other members of PI for help in financing and constructing these cities. This plan was met with cheers by both Canadians and Loyalists. The region has yet to be given a name but the Free People's Republic of Loyalist is the current name that is used. For the time being, the Loyalists are living in camps near the Canadian cities and some have even earned enough money to move into the cities. In Halifax, where the largest refugee camp is, a Loyalisttown was set up right in the city. The government foresees more of these Loyalisttowns being created. The Loyalist flag flies over this Loyalisttown and with these refugees will their culture and people survive.

The Province of Sonjan Is Created
In an unanimous vote in the Provisional Government of Loyalist, the Provisional Loyalist Area has now taken it's place as a province of the Canada-Quebecois Empire. The reactions from the Loyalists has been mixed. SOme believe that this will extingush their culture and way of life. Others believe that this is a new beginning for their people. The Chancellor said this. "We will not allow the Loyalist way of life to vanish. They are a unique people, who desearve to survive. The Provisional Government will continue to govern over their people as the Sonjan Provincal Government. They will be given the same rights as Canadians, but we will help them to keep their fragile culture intact." Theis was met with great ethusisaism across the country. Now the Loyalists and Canadians are no longer comrades-in-arms, they are brothers. Forever together in the path to greatness.

War!!! The Third American-Canadian War Begins!!
The Democratic States of America has declared war on the Greater Canadian Empire and has launched three attacks bent of destroying the empire and incorporating it into the DSA. The city of Vancouver is now being fought over by the American Seventh Army and the Canadian Fourth Army led by General Arthur Currie. For three weeks, the Americans' main target was Vancouver. If Vancouver falls, so falls the most important harbor in western Canada. The allies of Canada would have to start to land troops in Prince Rupert and Anchorage farther north. While the city of Vancouver is holding, the Americans are making great progress in the Manitoban Front, slowly pushing back the Third Army to Winnipeg, the center of the Canadian railroads. Winnipeg is currently not under siege, but if the Third Army doesn't hold them, then it will be. The third front is Toronto in Ontario. Toronto is faring better then it's western counterparts because the Americans are more focused in taking the more strategically based cities of Winnipeg and Vancouver. The Imperial Family, by order of Parliament has been flown out of the country to the Empress's home nation of Fenexia. God speed to the Imperial Family and may God be with the rest of us.

Battlefields Halt to Stalemates
The battles of Winnipeg and Vancouver had resulted in the Canadian and Inglish armies pushing the Americans back. In Vancouver, the Americans fell back to the States while the American army in WInnipeg was pushed back, but not run out of the country. But now tactics have changed, the Americans are now focusing on Toronto and the industrial center of the country. The First Shock Army under Field Marshal Frank Worthington, has been fighting for Toronto. The civilians of the city have also taken up arms to defend their city. The Great Lake Fleet has also moved in to help defend Toronto and also attack Chicago and Detroit. The nation is now in a stalemate. The Americans are holding and so are the Canadians.
Fall has come early this year. Winter has been thought to start perhaps mid-October, meteorologists say***In response to the war and the absence of the Imperial Family, Parliament has changed the political title of Chancellor of the Empire to Lord Protector of the Realm. Xavier Rommel has accepted this new position with this. "The government is here to help the people, this title will remind those after me of their duty."***Fenexian troops are landing in Halifax. they will be heading south to fortify Toronto.

The TIde has Turned
The defeat of the DS Army at Toronto has forced them back from the metropolis and south towards Queenston. The snowfall all along the IC Front has caused the DS Army to fall back from it's positions south. The Canadian Army and it's allies there are chasing the Americans. Word had come that frozen American tanks and artillery pieces were found all along the front. The war had finally turned in favor of the Allies. This is the beginning of the end for the American war machine. Lord Protector Rommel spoke before Parliament, stating this. "We have held out and now we hold the winning cards. If Kennedy thinks that he can win this war, then he is a damn fool. If he was a brave President, he would surrender his armies and retreat across his borders with an intact army. But if I don't recieve a surrender from him, then we will continue our advance. I am not asking him by telegram or by the phone to surrender. He must surrender without having someone giving him that option. Until then, the Canadian Army and it's brave allies will continue to force the enemy south. Ladies and gentlemen of Parliament, victory is within our grasp. When we force the Democratic States to surrender, then we will return to our position as the sole power on this continent." When asked about the Dysanii buildup on the border, he said this. "If the Parliamentary Republic of Dysanii wishes to luanch a war of imperialism on this continent, they will have to get through us. To have two powers living on this continent will cause war and death, so if the Dysanii government just stands down and respects Canadian poweress in this region, then we will have no problems. But if they wish to fight a war, then they will find us more then willing to fight back. Dysanii has a well trained military, but they have never seen combat, while the Canadian military has. No matter how hard you tarin your military, you can never win a war against a battle-hardened army as the DSA are learning now. I send this message to the Dysanii Parliament. We wish not to bring the fires of war against any nation here on the continent. Do not make yourselves seen as the fanatic imperialist on the American continent. We have no quarrel with you."

The Provisional Government Has Liberated Pentiction
Yesterday, the Provincial Army of IC was able to liberate the city of Pentiction during a daring attack on an American regiment. The Provisional Government has so far been able to liberate Kamloops, Kelowna, Cache Creek and Ashcroft. These small towns have risen up in the last few months and have attacked American supply lines. Only recently have they been able to meet the Americans in true combat instead of guerrilla actions. All around southern IC, partisan armies had been brought together. In Vancouver, the Free Sons of New Beaconsfield have done many espionage and bombings on American outposts and collaborators. The Free Sons support the Provisional Government, as do the Quesnel Liberation Army and others. The Provisional Government has only recently been in touch with the Canadian government and the General Staff. General Currie has remarked that he will send a paratrooper regiment to help them as well as special forces. The Provisional Government has said that aas soon as the Canadian Army arrives, they will hand power of the province over to General Currie, but the general has said that since partisans have been instrumental in the liberation of southern IC, they can stay and continue to fight. The Canadian Imperial Government will soon recognize the Provisional Government as the real provincial government in Inglish Columbia. So far there are seven partisan groups.

The Battle for Southern Inglish Columbia is Almost Over
The joint Inglish-Canadian army has arrived outside of Vancouver to liberate the final piece of Canadian territory. With the liberation of Vancouver, Lord Protector Rommel has stated that he will be able to force terms on the DSA. Word has come that Field Marshal Frank Worthington has taken command of the important front. Also Field Marshal Andrew Theriot of the Empire of Inglo-Scotia has come to lead the Inglish army in IC, while General Wellington was moved to the quiet Manitoban Front. The Third Battle of Vancouver will begin soon and we all pray that the forces will be able to end this conflict. Int eastern IC, Christstan and Canadian soldiers have met up with the Provisional Government of Inglish Columbia and now the combined forces of the regulars and partisans are now chasing the eastern American army south. But an army of Pentiction and Ashcroft volunteers was able to hold a southern line thus making the Christstans and Canadians able to capture over 200,000 American soldiers.

Troops Moving To Defend Eastern Border
Troops from the Ontarian Front are moving to defend the eastern borders. The sudden build-up of Dysanii troops on the border has worried the General Staff. Field Marshal Worthington has moved an unknown number of troops north to the border. The number can't be too large because the main army is still on the Canadian-American border. But the General Staff say it is suffienct right now. They feel that Dysanii will not attack just yet, but they are taking no chances. The First Fleet as well as the Quebecois Fleet are moving along the coast to defend the shores from the less powerful Dysanii Navy. Rumors of the High Seas Fleet moving into the area as soon as Vancouver is back in Canadian hands in imminent. The Canadian Militia is also moving in to bolster the ranks on the border. They are being mixed with regulars with battle experience to increase their performance, which is apperatly working. These soldiers are ready to defend the nation again.

A War Monument Has Been Erected Outside of Queenston, Honors Both American and Canadian Soldiers, As Well As Allies

This statue was erected today outside of Queenston where the war on the Ontarian Front ended. This monument is double-bladed sword. One, it honors the soldiers of the Democratic States of America, the Greater Canadian Empire, the Empire of Inglo-Scotia, the People's Republic of Loyan, and the Enlightened Empire of Feneixia. Two, it is a symbol of Canadian independence and courage against nations that wish to swallow up the Empire. Since Lord Protector Rommel is at a peace conference in Beaconsfield, Field Marshal Worthington represented the Lord Protector at the unveiling of the statue and Lord Protector Rommel's daughter, Lily Rommel christened it. From the bottom of the hill to the flag, flags of all the nations involved in the Second American-Canadian War are flown at half-mast. The statue was dubbed Mother Canada.

The First Shot Has Been Fired
The Great Border War has finally been launched. There was no great Canadian counter-attack against the massive Dysaniian armies, but instead the smaller Canadian forces are using trench warfare and winter warfare to beat down their enemy. Stormtroopers now defend the streach of land between the border and the intricate network of trenches that are being manned by other Canadian troops. According to reports, the Dysaniian tanks and other mechanized forces are freezing up and are being bogged down in the deep snow. The lighter Canadian soldiers are picking off Dysaniians whereever they are. The enemy wasn't prepared for these kind of war and the Canadian army has taken advantage of that. The hit and run tactics are not meant to stop them, but it means they will be hurt when they arrive at the fully prepared Canadian trenches. Our prayers go out to our soldiers and their families.

Blockade Of Dysaniian Coast
Inglish and Canadian vessels have blockaded the Dysaniian coast in an attempt to starve the nation out thus ending the war. The government has also issued an order to all neval vessels. Any Dysaniian vessel, military or not, caught at sea will be fired upon and sunk. Already, Dysaniian shipping lanes are being patroled by Canadian submarines. The Navy is hoping to force Dysanii to terms, but many foresee them refusing. To other news, word has come that the Dysaniian military are using Canadian civilians in forced work camps. Recon planes show pictures of evidence that the Dysaniians are slowly killing Canadian nationals in an attempt to wipe out the population so that the areas that the Dysaniian want should they win the war will be cleansed of Canadians. Field Marshal Worthington has declared this an act of cowardice and will punish the Dysaniians for this. With the blockade and the work camps, this war has escalated. So far, the People's Republic of Loyan, the Libertarian Empire of Myroria, and the Empire of Inglo-Scotia have declared war on the Parliamentary Republic of Dysanii. With PI now mobilizing, the Canadian people see a chance for survival.

The legendary Field Marshal, turned Lord Protector of the Realm, Xavier Rommel has hung up his civilian title and has returned to military service as Supreme Commander of the Canadian Armed Forces. Everyone remebers Rommel has the man who held off the RLF during the Civil War and put down the Nationalist Uprising. Xavier Rommel had retired from military service only six years ago and became Lord Protector of the Realm, the highest civilian position in the country. Now after Parliament voted for both Xavier and the Empress be rewarded emergency powers, Rommel took it upon himself to lead the armies once again. He had this to say. "I am a military man, and even though I am totally confidant in the General Staff's leadership in this war, there is no reason why I shouldn't help defend this nation. I am taking up the position of Supreme Commander in the hopes that the everyday civilian follows my example. Alia and the Advisory Council will continue the problems of state while I deal with the invading Dysaniians. I swear as Supreme Commander of the Canadian Armed Forces, I will not fail this nation and i hope those under me will take the same oath. I will not let Greater Canada fall." The speech was rewarded by cheers and approvals from all over the nation. Recruitment has increased as men and women are taking up the mantle. Factories have been moved out to Central Canada and those too young, too old, or too sick to fight are taking up those spots. Also there has been an increase of women taking up roles in the factories as their husbands go off to war. We will continue to report on the war, but for this time we wish to say that we need to all understand that this is a war for the survival of our nation and we need to fight to the end.

Stalemate At Hamilton and Kingston
The war against Dysanii has finally stalled at the cities of Hamilton and Kingston. The quick and powerful advances made by the Dysaniians have made it to these two cities, but the Canadian defenders are currently fighting tooth and nail to stop their advance, which they have. Hamilton is currently a melting pot of destruction. The Canadian forces are holding the enemy off and the intense stree-to-street fighting has resulted on large amounts of casualties on the Dysaniian army. As for Kingston, the same is happening. These two cities are important because if Kingston falls, then the war is taken to the capital of Ottawa, and if Hamilton falls, Montreal is Dysanii's next target. So the only thing that we the people can do is wait and watch. These battles will decide the fate of our nation and whether or not we will emerge victorious. Volunteering into the armed forces has increased, but the government believes that it is not enough. Regent Selene is thinking of enacting consrciption to further fill the ranks and win at this war of attrition.

New Heavy Tank Being Pushed Into Service
The factories and the Military Department of Research and Devolopment have created a new weapon to be thrown at the Dysaniian Army. While the Dysaniian tanks are an even match with the Canadian Leopard IIs and Leopard Is, the Department thought that they needed a heavy tank that could help the Leopards crush the Dysaniians. Rommel had used the prototypes in his secret exercises and he had nothing but good things to say about the new tank. This new tank, dubbed the Tiger I heavy tank is made of titanium alloy from the Republic of Loyan, thus making able to reach it's specified speed, but giving the protection that it needs. The Tiger can travel at 50 km/h making it somwhat able to keep up with it's smaller counterparts. But the most noticable feature of the Tiger tank is it's 152mm barrel. These guns are the most powerful ever devoloped so far on a tank. The Tiger tank has been dubbed the most powerful tank on the American continent, if not the world. The General Staff has hoped that these tanks will push the war more and more to our favor. A few tank regiments have been created and are being sent to the Hamilton and Kingston fronts to break the stalemate. Future regiments are being assigned to Rommel. This tank will be a new symbol of Canadian power on the continent, just as the Artorion supercarrier and the Ontario battleship is a Canadian naval symbol.

Constitutional Amendment Passed In Parliament Today
The nation was saddened by the loss of Emperor Paul to an assassin's bullet. Imperial Regent Selene and widow of Emperor Paul, proposed a constitutional amendment that in the event of the death of Alia, there would be a line of succession so that the Imperial House would never fail. The amendment pass almost unanimously. The line of succession is still not finsihed, but many houses have been added so far. The Artorion family, which is the current ruling family has only three members: Empress Alia, Imperial Regent Selene and Crown Princess Jordan. Alia's aunt, Jordan, who is the Empress of Christstan is also current Crown Princess of Greater Canada. Through Empress Jordan, the next house that will rule in the event of the Artorion extinction, would be the von Weiger Imperial family of Christstan. They are one of three families with Artorion blood. The line will go through the entire von Weiger family. If the von Wieger family becomes extinct in Christstan, the next closest house is the Tar-Ilium family of Myroria. Empures Anna of Myroria is the daughter of Emperor von Weiger. In the event of Myrorian extinction, the next family would be the Inglish Imperial Family. They are where the Artorion branches off, but they are no longer closest in blood to the Canadian family which is why they are the fourth family to recieve the crown. Also, the succession of this family to the Canadian throne was conversational, becasue the Inglish were once rulers of Canada and few people wish to see an Inglish emperor on the Canadian throne. After the Inglish, the next in line is Imperial Regent Selene and her newly created House of Shanya. Though she is the mother of Alia, she is not of Artorion blood. If she dies, then the throne passes to her mother in Feneixia, Lady Shanya. After her is Selene's father. then in the event of Shanya extinction, the crown passes to the Imperial House of Feneixia. Though the family is not of Artorion blood, they are in the line because they are the godparents of Alia. If it wasn't for the proposed marriage between Selene and Paul by the Feneixian family, then the line would have died with Paul and the von Weigers would be ruling right now. So Parliament gave them a place in the succesion paper. After the Feneixians, no other others were added.

Emperor Heindrick Abdicates, Son Takes Over, Empress Alia To Go To Christstan
Ever since the Christstani Crown Prince married Canadian princess Jordan, the Christstani Empire has been one of Canada's closest allies and friends. Empress Alia has gotten word that Heindrick von Weiger, Emperor of Christstan has abdicated. His son Frederick has taken up the throne with his wife, Princess Jordan. Alia has annouced that she will attend the coronation of her uncle and aunt. The Christani nation has done more for Canada then they may believe. Just after the Second American-Canadian War, Lord Protector Rommel and the General Staff began a program to push the Canadian military away from the Inglish model and soon was able to model it after that of Christstan. They were impressed with Christstan soldiers in the war. Critics and the General Staff joke that the two militaries look so like each other now, the only real difference is the blue-grey color of the Canadian uniform and the Canadian maple leaf symbol. Well, a new generation has taken the reins of the state and Empress Alia is going to visit. As the war continues in Canada between the Canadians and the Dysaniians, Alia has been rumored to also to be asking for Christstani aid. The Canadian monarch will finally make her first state visit as Empress of Canada. But as for the general public, Canada is saddened to see such a powerful figure as Emperor Heindrick to leave the throne, but can't wait to see his son etch his greatness into stone.

The Feneixian Empire Has Declared War
Nathaniel Cordre, Emperor of Feneixia and godfather of Empress Alia, has informed the Dysaniian government that Feneixia is now at war with them. With the Canadian-Dysaniian War and the Third War Between the States raging on the continent, PI has been streched thin. The Inglish and Myrorians are aiding the Confederates in the south, while leaving Greater Canada to fight on it's own. Aid came from an unsuspected source. New Delfos, Validus, and Varkour had declared war on Dysanii and are currently fighting a war on the Dysaniian coast. But then Feneixia, one of Greater Canada's closest allies, has declared war. While Empress Alia is in Christstan trying to win Christstani aid, the Feneixians are now preparing to aid the Canadian Army in what is the Western Front. The Canadians will no longer stand alone in this theater of war. With fresh Feneixian soldiers, the Canadians should be able to turn the tide in favor of the Allied armies.

All Cities Have Been Put on Full Alert
Due to the recent threat of the use of biological weapons on Canadian civilians, the government has ordered that the cities prepare for these attacks. Special anti-biological teams were sent to the various cities to protect the people. Cautious procedures have been ordered for all civilians to follow, such as wearing gas masks. Antigens are being sent to these areas in case of a chemical attack. Some people have expressed there concern that perhaps the Canadian government should sue for peace, but the Canadian government has refused stating that no matter what happens, we will always have a dangorous neighbor. Much must be risked in war. The Canadian people are currently going through chemical warfare exercises so that everyone knows what to do in the event of such an attack. The Imperial Regent, Parliament, the General Staff and other government officals have been moved to secret safehouses. Safehouses have been erected all over the country to help protect the civilian population in case of an attack. So far, there has been no attack, but no one believes that the Dysaniians are bluffing.
