THE KAZJKO TIGER
Location:

The Kazjko Tiger is located in south of New Delfos and North of Tacolicious.

Scientists have found that between 334 and 417 adult tigers now inhabit the south of New Delfos forests. They estimate that around 600 adult tigers live in the whole area. This area, as you can see, fits in the Western Subtropic area of Elu.(ooc: I'm calling our Continental Island Elu, since Eluvatar was allways a resident here...but anyway, that's how we call it)

BRIEF HISTORY OF THE KAZJKO TIGER

During the Pelagian Empire, the tigers were originally in Kazjkoland. The Kazjko Tigers, specially the mothers, were venerated by their hunting techniques and strenght as shown in this Panel.

And again, in this floor mosaic.

Although, Cladicus, the Pelagian king of Kazjkoland introduced the motherland ways of using tigers as decorative and entertaining objects for the aristocracy.

But this doesn't mean Cladicus underconsiderated the tigers as mere objects. He used the Kazjko Tiger as a symbol of his army in respect for their strenght, they even studied the hunting techniques to use in battlefield, introducing new ways, there were special units with camouflage.

As for entertainment, the tigers were used in the public fights.

To show how important this tigers are in the Kazjkoland history, even King Delfos during the Delfos Theocracy centuries ago used the Kazjko Tiger as the symbol of the kingdom. There's even figures of himself riding a tiger. Although we do not believe tigers were ridable at that time.

The Castles and Palaces are filled with images of the Kazjko Tiger. Following the tradition of the Pelagian. Although, because of the desertification of the Western Kazjko tundra-lands, the Tigers were forced to move down to cooler environments.

Nowadays, the specie is in risk, but hold with care in a large protected area in New Delfos.

The Boyen Forest is controlled by a Buddhist Monastery that help the tigers to develop. This Tigers learn to be gentle with humans, they even respect the rules from the monks, and they end up in full harmony with the environment. Although they do not have room for all tigers, they have to release the strong tigers back to nature so they can prosper in the wild.

There are also white tigers that join with the Kazjko Tigers population. They are even considered Kazjko White Tigers for the similarities with the orange ones. Although they tend to live more to the south, and they originate from what is now south Tacolicious.
