Chaotic Peace Summit Ended with Great Success
« Reply #32 on: June 21, 2007, 02:54:36 AM »
ST. TAKASBURG (Agence Takasie Presse) - The Cree Peace Talk has finally ended, with general agreements made by both the Canadian Imperial Government and the Red Liberation Front. The Imperial Government has agreed to release its power and formed a constitutional monarchy, and such proposal was readily accepted by the RLF and UASS delegates. This has balanced the peoples' wish to keep the current monarchy, and their need to have their say in running their country.

The Summit, the first of the kind held in Takasia, was not without problem. The palace where the Summit was held was attacked by terrorist allegedly backed by New Delfos, one of the UASS delegates. The Talmanner and Gallipoli-Chinese delegates were injured in the incidence. That was further disturbed by the planned attack to the Summit venue by New Delfian military jets, though such attack was later neutralized through military means.

Takasia Issued Travel Warning Against New Delfos
« Reply #33 on: June 21, 2007, 03:03:24 PM »
ST. TAKASBURG (Agence Takasie Prese) - The Takasian Government warn citizens to carefully consider the risks of travel to New Delfos amid the current tension between the two nations.

Some elements of the New Delfian regime and the population remain hostile to Takasia.  As a result, Takasian citizens may be subject to harassment or arrest while traveling or residing in New Delfos. Takasians of Delfian origin should consider the risk of being targeted by authorities before planning travel to New Delfos.

Takasians who travel or reside in New Delfos despite this Travel Warning are strongly encouraged to register through the government's travel registration website, https://travel-registration.ta, or at Takasian Embassies in Delfingrado or Winnipeg of Canada.

Takasiair and Air Solar has suspended all direct flights between Takasia and New Delfos. The Takasian Government has suspended the right to fly through Takasian airspace of planes of New Delfos origin.

The current standoff was triggered by the trespass of Takasian airspace by New Delfian military aircraft, and the New Delfians suspected involvement in the terrorist attack against the Cree Peace Summit held earlier in the Takasian capital.

« Reply #36 on: June 23, 2007, 04:02:44 PM »
ST. TAKASBURG (Agence Takasie Presse) - The Takasia Government has defended the mandatory registration of Delfians, as accused by extremists and terrorists as discriminatory or even "Ethnic Cleansing".

"Delfian Takasians still enjoy the same rights as Takasians of any race," promised the government spokesman," but such registration will help Takasians and the government to identify threats easily whenever potential rioters gather in an unusal pattern.

"Law=abiding citizens have absolutely nothing to fear. They are given all opportunities to excel just as Takasians of any other descent."

The government has also urged Delfian Takasians to act responsibly as a Takasian, "ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country."

« Reply #41 on: July 13, 2007, 04:34:14 PM »
ST. TAKASBURG (Agence Takasie Presse) - With the Talmanner government agreed to the deal with Takasia to modernize our southern neighbour, the plan was unveiled today involving upgrading in areas from air, road and rail transportation network to power infrastructure and telecommunication systems of the country. While projects will be rewarded to private companies, the RTF will pledge at least 1 trillion™ loan on the project.

Meanwhile, Takasia are preparing the youngsters of Talstadt to their modernized country. While we have sent professors for their schools and universities to give lectures, Talmanner students are also invited to our schools through Takasian government-funded exchange programmes.
