This is where the Minister of Community will make announcements and update reports about the wiki.
The first update is that the Ministry has decided today that entries in the Current events section of the wiki will be deleted after 1 year, just so there isnt a massive clutter of posts there. It is current events, anyways. Also, I recently jumped the gun a bit by adding Limi as the Chief Justice already, however this isn't a big issue, because his term begins in 2 days.

Well, you haven't fully updated it yet...

Oh, I know that, I stopped after I realized. In a couple days I'll finish it.

Can some of the posts be kept to be relevant to our history? Somewhat for chronology history.

Sorry, but I'm having a hard time understanding. Are you saying some of the recent events should be kept, just the important ones?
-
Just asking if that's possible, yes. We could have a events history, I don't know if anybody has any interest in this, if not, dismiss.
-
Copying the old 'current' events to some kind of Taijitu Timeline might be wise :)
-
Alright then, that will be added to my list.
-
The timeline idea is a good one. Also, rather than deleting entries after a year or some such, I would prefer that there simply be a hard limit on how many events can be in the current event template at a time, and if a new one is added the oldest one is removed. As it is the template already extends far past the featured image, which looks a bit odd.

Sensible!

Delfos you so silly

Alright, just a quick update. I'm making the archive page for Current Events, and it will be up by the end of the day. Also, I will make the current events maximum at 5.
-
Did we agree to feature the new Cabinet page when we chatted on IRC?
-
Oh, yes, I will do that ASAP
-
That just leaves a featured image. Nothing in particular springs to mind for me, I guess we can default to a seal if it's necessary.
-
Does Funkadelia have sysop status on the wiki?
-
I don't believe he does, no.
-
Heh, I don't even know what that is :-P
-
It means you'll be able to do things like move and protect pages.
-
Ah, well then that would be beneficial.
-
When I get home, I will change the featured article and image.
