Well, hello there! If you're reading this and wanting to know about my life, I hope you find it rather interesting. I'd hate to waste your time reading about little ole me! :P In this brief little introduction I will cover a little bit about my personal life and my time here on NS. I suppose I'll get started.
My name is Alisa, but I don't care if you call me Abasha (my NS name) or by my Anglicized name Alice. I'm a 19 year old Serbian Orthodox girl (not really super religious though), oh, and a lesbian! That is if you care about that kind of thing. I'm also slightly neurotic (I get mad and frustrated easily) schizophrenic, and I'm a heavy smoker and drinker. I mean damn, I'm a Serb. Most of us do, its a cultural thing. :P My family is from Bosnia, but I born in Novi Sad, Serbia and I moved all around the Balkans before coming to America when I was 12-13. I'm fluent in Serbian/Bosnian, French, English, and I speak a little Bulgarian.
My daily life really isn't that interesting. I'm soon to start university even though I never finished high school and I work as a foreman/mechanic in a textile mill. Its just the daily grind for me, except I like to RP and talk to people online. I'm a gamer at heart and I love roleplaying games and fantasy games (the Elder Scrolls Series is a favorite). I also like to write poetry and pursue other things like getting high!.... I mean... Playing piano and fencing.
I've been on NS for over a year now (probably more like two) and I've ran a fairly successful region and ran a couple RP's. I love to write about my nation and develop it into reality on my mind. It makes me feel accomplished! Oh, and I used to be a WA Delegate and I founded some international organizations. That's pretty much all for my NS history.
If you have any serious questions, you can always message me anytime or reply. Oh, and by the way, yes, the girl in my profile picture IS ME, just to stave off anyone who was curious!

Welcome :wine:

I've been reading your factbooks and I must say I am quite impressed with what you have written. I especially liked how the Xylosan were so deeply affected by the Samarites.

Welcome to the region!

Welcome to :taijitu:
It's lovely to have you, Alisa. I'm also mentally ill so we can commiserate. :D

Crazy creates crazy, and chaos attracts heroes. If there is a bunch of crazy people here then it must have some sort of a supernatural draw for us. :P

It is odd how many people NS has with one form of psychological dysfunction or another. It really is an astounding percentage. Perhaps it is those who have some small measure of loos of control in the self find comforting the illusions of power given with simulations of leading governance. Given an outlet where ones opinions matter and are weighted equally with others as in our democracy further complements this need. I wonder at what a trained psychotherapist would make of our group if viewed from a clinical standpoint.

Now THAT would be interesting, though I gave up playing NS long ago, I still stick around for the Company 5 years later and have even met a couple of the other region members IRL, including the honorable (dubiously ;) ) delegate, who is as fun and clever face to face as she is in here.

My honor is spotless, knave. :trout:
But honestly thanks, that was very nice of you to say. You're great in person, too (even when you and Solnath are lifting me above your heads in the middle of a crowd, despite my feeble protestations). ^_^

Well, how would you see the mid day change of the Royal guards? It's not as if you have that on the other side of the pond XD

The vast majority of humans are have psychological dysfunctions (at least in the so called "civilizations"), it takes guts to admit it though, and only there we are in a minotity. :whip: :keke: :-P O:-)
