Isn't that your Borg thing's name?
-
and how the hell would you have slaves of them, if they are seperated from the fold they turn into puddy
-
How do they turn into putty? They are cyborgs, and cyborgs are partially biological, and biological things can't just turn into putty. And we consider Anilocs to be a general nuisance, so they're perfect for enslavement.
-
How many systems does your Empire have? and does it use an FTL?
~Thanato
-
they arnt cyborgs, I said i was using the borg as a base for the idea for them, they are not borgs. They are droids, built from memory metal, if they stop receiving electrical signals telling them witch form to be, they turn into metallic putty.
the only things with any intelligence are the three other forms of anilocs, the freeminds, who are built the same but have a personality base on them, then the others are only in deep aniloc space, and are massive. and taking the planets they are near is pointless, as the anilocs hollow out the planets and turn them into dead rocks
dont just claim youve enslaved another persons peaople from nothing
-
The only thing that can turn to putty is a non-solid. Droids are solid, therefore, that'd be pretty much breaking the laws of physics. I can claim I've enslaved anyone's people. If they are in my territory, then they are eligible for slavery (though humans and other biological sapient beings are not enslaved. Only animals and computers)

The Reich is currently not using superluminal travel because it is impossible. We have, however, made it to within 10 kilometers per hour of the speed of light, and we have developed a device to make a wormhole that lasts roughly 5 hours. We have also sent a generation ship to the Large Magellanic Cloud, and, should it not have failed, it is currently at the edge of the LMC.

its memory metal, and if you enslave, then ill claim to have enslaved yours and be in all out war of destruction against you. its memory metal, and if you want to talk physics most things we do in this rp breaks it cause its fun, dont be so much focused on my people are kick ass and everyone sucks, its not fun. You have none of my race enslaved
instead im going to ignore you in this, im just in this for fun, not to win or be the strongest. and you clearly know little on physics, as this dosnt break a single one. IF it did... so would ice, and stone and well everything. If you didnt know matter has 4 diffrent phases, solid, liquid gas and plasma (this is where the electrons are stripped). Memory metals like this are something people have been trying to get to work for a long time to use in god near everything. Since we are just having fun and using sci-fi tech, these people have perfected it. They have diffrent electrical programs into the metal, they can not change mass or metalic composition, but can change shape and form. this also does not mean they are invunerable, far from it. just means you need to be more creative, while shooty it a few times wont really drop it (shooting it a hell of alot or blowing it up still kills it) you could destroy/immobilise with massive electrical surges that screw up the signels
-
Fine, if you want to ignore a crucial part of politics, go ahead. And assimilation is slavery, so I could ignore that.
On your second point, yes, I do know about physics, and I do know that the four stages of matter are solids, liquid, gas, and plasma (though on Earth the most prevalent are the first three). Memory metals that you refer to are physically impossible; the real memory metals return to their original states after they've been bent, not after they've had a hole blown through them. I suggest you research your own physics before you critisize how much I know.

-
you can have slavery, and all that, but don't just start out claiming you've enslaved my race, and I know assimilation is slavery, but i dont claim to have assimilated other races with no rp. plus how do you plan to make slaves fly suicide ships, besides alot of drugs
-
1. It's not crazy to think that somewhere in my empire, there's some of your race. And since they are in my territory, and they are not sapient biological beings, they are considered inferior.
2. Would you prefer a swift explosion as you die or death in boiling water?
-
it is crazy, cause my race is not something normal. when dealing with planets its not like nations, people dont just immigrate to different planets, demographics are not like in normal nationalities. The aniloc are all part of the "military" you got no anilocs, if you want you can go to war with me right of the bat, i dont care, but none of the anilocs are in your empire unless your empire is been assimilated. sorry to burst your bubble
-
Might I request an OOC thread for this discussion instead of bickering about it over a statistics thread. I don't care who's right, I just don't wanna scroll through 3 pages of nonsense to find out Myroria wants to use black hole weapons.
-
Any time a ship of yours enters my space then I am within my rights to capture it and everyone on board. And don't give me the putty bullshit, that can't happen.
-
They can turn to mental puddy not physical puddy. . . How about that After they get disconected they turn into Empty shells which you can then reprogram or what ever...
~Thanato
-
That's fine.
-
im keeping my memory metal, and will ignore any of your godmod claims of having slaves of my people, if you want to ignore any rp involving me, go for it, this is just for fun. I really dont mind if you ignore my involvment
-
How the fuck is claiming that I have slaves godmodding? It's simple: IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO KEEP TRACK OF ALL OF YOUR PEOPLE.
-
A: its easy to keep people from leaving a planet
B: they are robots all connected to each other
all aniloc slaves will be ignored
-
A: Explain deserters from the army and such.
B. So? They can still think for themselves. Besides, computers are made to serve humans, and as far as my race is concerned your race is just getting what they deserve for rebelling against their human masters.
All memory metals will be ignored, seeing as they are not sci-fi, they are fantasy.
-
no one deserts a military, the drones dont have the ability to think that, and the free are small enough to keep trake of to know they wont leave.
Well it seems youll be ignoring me anyways, so this dosnt matter does it
-
True AI and AI as we know it aren't the same. Ranholn is saying the two "beings" are true AI, and everyone else is a AI as we know it (limited 'intelligence') and they're plugged into it, they're gods essentially. Take out the two entities, his entire civilization dies. It would be excessively interesting RP to have that happen to one entity and see what happens :-P
Anyways, if your memory metal doesnt turn into a blob and slip through my nearly impenetrable door (or other situation should it occur) I would become increasingly against your exploitation of that fluid property, other than that i don't see the problem with getting free resources everytime I kill one of you.
-
its not the same density as water, its a very dense liquid, and they cant move while in that shape. its just used to shoot them at a planet. In the blob form, they just sit their... like a blob
-
I was worried we might be seeing advanced Oozes straight from dungeons and dragons or World of Warcraft lol jk enough jesting, I don't see why Myro doesn't just let up and enslave someone else, like some of Nathaniels people. Sure, I see the potential in having Aniloc slaves... but then why not just create droideka from the Trade Federation? probably quite a bit more survivable... unless you has some fishfaced retard with a robot strapped to his leg doing stop drop and roll.
-
The one thing that disturbs me Myro...
You're using Old Republic Cruisers and not the standard Imperial Destroyers or the Victory Destroyers. Also, you might look into the Lancer Frigate for a Star Wars anti-fighter light ship... lol i've played far too many star wars games I used to be sucha geek (still am since I remember it)
-
Yes, my people could easily be enslaved by him...
If the Pelagian are allied with the pirates in my nation, they would get them VERY easily.
However, IN the core worlds, they would need to target single ships or little non-military, non-important fleets etc. which navigate trough galactic/planetary nebulas or other remote areas, since they are not guarded much...or he targets the "outer worlds", we have some colonies there (like minnig stations and some few settlements).
-
We wouldn't enslave the Feniexians, we have a positive view of their civilization and we don't enslave sapient biological beings. And I'm using the Venator class destroyer because it looks different so, again, I don't look like I've been copying exactly. The picture is different, but it uses the same weapons as a regular Destroyer.
-
Damn...I just noticed...we both claim to own Taijitu...what now?
-
I call the real one an unofficial protectorate. The Taijitu I own is a different planet named after the "mythical origin of the Pelagian civilization".
-
2 different planets of the same name. . . it is a big galaxy you know.
~Thanato
-
Ok, ok, I just read the names...sorry.
-
No problem.
