The Battle for Ryazania
« on: January 22, 2007, 01:19:54 AM »

The first battle of the war. A company of Legion XII was readying the Testudo, or tortoise formation for use against the barbarians of Westeros. The Westerian arrows were no match for the heavy scutums protecting the legion's heads. Behind the entire legion spread across the battlefield was the Empeurer in his chariot. Behind the Westerians was King Balor, directing his men to surround the Westerians.

Distant past. This takes place during the Pelagian era, when the Pelagian Empire owns a crazy huge amount of land that would never go over in present times very well.

OOC: So I take it you're RPing the ancient history of Ryazania before you get into its modern day happenings.
