State Emergency Address
At around 12:26 pm yesterday, an attack on Loyanese citizens with chemical weapons was carry out in the Peach Orchard District of Na Sui City. I regret to tell you two innocent lives were claim in the aftermath of the attack, with hundreds of others severely injured and dozens in critical condition. I give my sincere apologies to the victims and their families for the failure of the State to prevent this frightening tragedy...
While details of the attack are still being uncover, we know that it was aimed at three well visited food service establishments of the Peach Orchard District: The Apple House, Junlin Seafood Frenzy, and the Red Autumn. The weapon in question were several sophisticated aerosol dispensing devices hidden in the air conditioning and ventilation ducts of the buildings. The devices were set of simultaneously, releasing an unknown gas agent into the surrounding air which caused victims difficulty in breathing, severe sinus congestion, and inflammation of the lungs and mucus membranes inside the nose. For the two victims that died, suffocation was the cause of death. This chemical agent is believe to be of advance nature, one that requires sophisticated manufacturing. The origin of the gas used has not been pinpointed, but our intelligence agents are working 24/7 to uncover where the gas came from.
State Police has manage to secure four suspects with clues uncovered. While we are not at liberty to state their names, we can tell you that one of them was a recent employee hired by managers of Junlin Seafood Frenzy. Our investigation team is doing their best to reveal more information about the attack and those involve. So far, no organization has claim responsibility to this detestable attack, but it's planning and sophistication point to a larger involvement. I assure all citizens, that the State will track down and convict these disgustable criminals, and make them pay for their trespass of human life and harmony. During this time, I ask every citizen to remain strong and vigilant, so we may live through this day of infamy.
