"Administration, the island is being bombed by the Foudre. Heavy casualties on our side; most of the Valideen soldiers should be either captured or neutralized now, maybe they died in the fire of the Foudre however. Airborne C-524-Alpha and Bravo, we have to retreat now. Alpha out."

"Affirmative, permission granted. You will land at airport 28; you will not be assigned for further commands today. Try to transmit to the squads on the isle that we will try to send evacuation in 30 minutes; we have to engage the Foudre first."

OOC: Next RP following either today or tomorrow.

The airborne troops were now an hour out from their DZ when the jump master came on the loud speaker, "WE ARE DOING A LOW COMBAT JUMP!" He yelled, "WE WILL BE JUMPING INTO HIGH COMBAT CONDITIONS! OUR ORDERS ARE TO REPULSE THE REMAINING FENS FROM THE ISLAND AND WAIT FOR REINFORCEMENTS FROM THE REST OF THE DIVISION! WE ARE JUMPING INTO HOSTILE CONDITIONS! AS I SPEAK OUR ALLIES ARE BOMBING THE ISLAND AROUND THE ENGINEERS POSITIONS! THIS WILL BE LET UP BEFORE WE JUMP BUT WE CAN EXPECT A SCORCHED EARTH TYPE SCENARIO! SAY YOUR PRAYERS TROOPS, THIS COULD BE YOUR LAST TIME!"

TO: Varkourian Military
FROM: Collosean Minister of War, Miltiades IX

Collosea is about to begin putting our military on alert. We are in the midst of scrambling our fighters and departing with our warships, and would like to request the use of Varkourian military facilities. Please direct our forces to where they should go.

The fleet of transports came out of a cloud head into the blue sky. "Holy shit," remarked the pilot as he flew the C-130 he looked out towards the glowing ground below them, then he flicked a switch on the control panel. Which cause the yellow light in the back to turn green, causing a massive out flow of Paratroops. The island below was on fire, at least the part just north of were they were jumping.

Captain Falfienne could see the island on fire from where he was standing.

"Tell TempĂȘte not to send in the marines. The Valideens are landing instead."

"Yes Captain."

Now he waited for a response from the Feniexians...

As the troopers hit the ground, no one could be found around the DZ. "Shit," said Captain Foreger, "OK LETS MOVE OUT!" he yelled to all his men behind him. they walked on towards the co-ordinates of the engineers. As they walked, they could smell burning flesh and even came across a few burnt Fens. They walked for hours with out getting bumped, but thats why they chose this area for the DZ and approach point the number of Fens would of bascily been reduced to zero thanks to the bombardment.

They walked for an hour and a half, the recce platoon, as they approached the Engineers position they started seeing green again. A lone patch of it in a see of black and fire. "hmm, thats were they are. Lets go." 1 section, which was lead by Sergeant Marks made there way down a slight slope into a a valley. they could see the runway and the wreckage of two of the 5 C-130s, the other three were hidden behind some trees. As they approached Marks flashed his red light three times, and received the response of five lights. They rushed over to the location.

Under the cover of a downed tree three sapers and a corporal were taking cover, protecting the southern flank for the possible attack which was stopped by the Varkour.

"Is it safe," asked Marks.

"Yes sarge, fuck am I glad to see a friendly face," said the corporal, whose face was covered in dirt and cam point.

"Ok, we got some more coming, an entire battalion full. But I need to see Major Trafalgar."

"He should be at the casualty collection point, I would show you were it is but this is all we have on this flank Sarge,"

"thats ok, besides you engines aren't fighters, eh, now are you. My boys will cover off the arch with your saps, well except corporal simpson. Master Corporal McManus can more then handle the task,"

McManus looked over and said with a smirk, "thanks sarge," then looked over at his troops, "ok you hear him," the troops all moved into positions as per training.

The Corporal, the Sergeant and Simpson headed towards the CCP.

Official Statement from the Imperial Family of Myroria

By decree of His Imperial Majesty, Maurice Tar-Ilium, the Libertarian Monarchy of Myroria hereby CONDEMNS Validean actions in Feniexia.

In an attempt to DETER further Validean action against Feniexia, and to end violence without increasing bloodshed, the Imperial Family has ordered and the Council of the Great Houses has agreed (2-1) to END diplomatic relations with Validus and to place an EMBARGO on Validean products entering Myroria and Myrorian products leaving for Validus, effective at 12:00 noon today.

The Imperial Family has also stated that it will not rule out MILITARY ACTION if the atrocities in Feniexia continue.

In addition, Myroria has chosen to end diplomatic relations with all DYSFOR members and to re-instate the embargo on New Delfos. That is all.

"Have you heard that?"
"Ahahaha! Weak minded, with them as major importers of the region and us as major exporters, they are screwing themselves."
"Well, what would you expect from the Myrorian?"
"We can shift things to...south? Validus? Canada? Dysanii? DYSFOR?"

Upon hearing the news the Prime Minister and President who were sit in the Presidents Office. "Ya, i'm surprised too."

"When was the last time we had a diplomat in their nation?"

"years, its funny really, considering we don't have alot trade alot with them, well at least after we pulled our diplomats."

"Oh well, i'm sure we can find what we lose in other areas in the world."

"Well now onto more pressing matters Chuck,"

"Right,"

"Well we need to get More troops to Artemis site Alpha, the more we get there the easier it will be to hold and possibly launch attacks on the Fens mainland. Cripple their industry."

"I agree, I say we send the rest of the Airborne division then get marines their to hold it  better."

"I concur."

"Sir," said Sergeant Marks.

"Sergeant what outfit are your boys?" asked the Major.

"Recce Platoon, Bravo Company, 2nd Regiment of the 1st Airborne. We have relief coming up from the south west."

"How many troops Sarge? My Engineers are tired and I want to get them as much rest as I can."

"I hear you sir, just the rest of the regiment, more then enough troops to hold until the rest of the division arrives in force."

"How far out are they?"

"Colonel Briggs has the regiment spread out and slowly advancing up here, they are going to wait until my platoon reports back, and my section was sent to make contact, so Captain Winters should of send a runner by now."

"Runner? Why not us the radio?"

"EW, sir."

"Ahh yes,"

The Sergeant took off his helmet and scratched his head, "Sir, we have a medical detachment in the Battalion," he scanned the stretchers and wounded soldiers on the ground, "their main job will be to get these boys and girls out of here."

"Good, their war is over."

With that the Major, Sergeant Marks and Corporal Simpson walked out of the CCP then headed back down towards the corner of the defencive line were they met up with the rest of the section. The rest of the platoon made themselves visible to Marks' section then when given the signal advanced across and met up with the Major.

"Captain,"

"Sir, were do you want us?"

"I want your men to relieve 15 of my men on the eastern flank, its about 120 meters in that direction," he commanded his hand in the direction in which he was referring.

"Yes sir, but Marks' section is staying here, they need to make contact with the rest of the regiment when they arrive in 1 hour 16 minutes time,"

"Ok captain, just remember my Engineers arnt fighters,"

"They shouldn't have to fight for much longer. Remember this Major, you were saved by the Airborne."

"Why not,"

With that Captain Briggs handed out his orders to is section commanders and they all went off to their assigned posts to help bluster the perimeter.

OOC: I am going to follow Sergeant Marks' Section primarily with back ground characters as Captain Briggs and Simpson (the Signaler), others will be added

Airport 21, Sector Gamma, Feniexian Coreland

"Echo leader to squad. Take-off in 20 seconds."
Various "Copy that." came through Major Collins' helicopter's ComLink receiver. Squad AH-237 had been ordered to clear the surface of island off all enemy soldiers. They were too few to waste aircraft delivered bombs or missiles for them; some WAH-64 Apache should take them out with their chainguns - at least, that were the orders from the base commander.

"We will reach the island in about half an hour; the Administration sent some F-22s and F-35s to combat approaching enemy fighter aircrafts, but be aware, we give a nice target for them. You are not authorized to use missiles during this mission unless you receive the command to do so." Collins briefed his soldiers while the helicopters began flying en route to their target.

Onboard the ICD Victoria, Zumwalt Class Destroyer

Once again, Captain Williams looked at the ComNav table in the middle of the bridge. 97 ships were following the Victoria - 2 other Zumwalt class destroyers, 15 Ticonderoga class cruiser, 40 Littoral combat ships, 15 Fridtjof Nansen class frigate and 25 Arleigh Burke class destroyers, not counting the large amount of submarines which is accompanying the Feniexian battle fleet. The objectives were clear - engaging the Varkourian navy, then advancing towards the Dysaniian Sector, to increase naval support against Canadian and DYSFOR vessels. Carrying a large amount of FENIX marines, this battle fleet will cause massive trouble to the DYSFOR troops occupying Valhene.

EDIT: Increased the number of ships; hope that is no problem, since we did not RP anything involving my fleet yet. Only ~24 ships seemed far too less for the fleets orders.

Members of the 1st Marine Expeditionary Division, who had landed on the island and relieved the 1st Airborne Division two days prior, were still setting up anti-invasion defences. "Echo Mike Fife Six this is Echo Mike One Zero, Early warning Radar has picked up, more to follow, over,"..."Echo Mike Fife Six, send over,"..."Echo Mike One Zero, enemy aircraft moving to this island, prep Ack Ack in defence, over,"..."Echo Mick Fife Six, Roger, over,"... "Echo Mike One Zero, roger, out."

A group of 20 marines cared 10 crates to the top of a hill, inside these crates were a single Stinger with two missiles. They all got in trenches and defencive locations around the hill. "Hold until we can grantee the shot."

The Varkourian fleet had been ordered to defend the Valideen island and its occupants from a Feniexian attack. The small fleet was still a few km south of the island and was still waiting for reinforcements, which they desperatley needed.
The "flagship", the Foudre, a small aircraft carrier was accompanied by 2 Georges Leygues class destroyers, 4 La Fayette class frigates, 5 D'Estienne d'Orves class avisos and 1 intellligence ship.

The Captain had already been informed about the incoming Feniexian fleet and he decided to stay put and fight. He was promised the reinforcements would arrive in 4 hours time. An additional 15 ships were on their way from the west and 5 submarines were heading to the island from the south.
