"Ok Gentlemen, its called Operation Rickover, named after the late General Rickover. Our task will be to occupy the Mainland G-C that is located right on our boarder, with the possibility of moving into their island territory located just off Validus. This operation has been given the full go ahead by the President and the war council due to the fact that we can not just close the boarder we need to create a buffer between our Territory and theirs.
"The units that will be partaking in Op Rickover are as follows - 2nd Infantry Division, 4th Armoured Regiment 'the Royal Beasts', 2nd Communications Squadron, 407 Tactical Helicopter Squadron, 305 Tactical Fighter Squadron, 31 Service Regiment, as well as S.E.A.T. (Special Encounter Assault Team). All these units are in ready, We go in 12 hours. Any questions?" General Sinh sat down.
"I have one sir," Major General Richard Dyke stood up. "Sir, what kind of resistance are we looking at from the Gallipoli-Chinese? I know the report states that the majority of their standing army is engaged with the Insergents, but I would like to know what my boys and girls will be facing on the front."
"Good question General Dyke, We know that their is just an infantry regiment in the area so that shouldnt be a problem. We expect the Majority of their military units to retreat once we cross the boarder."
**12 hours Later**
"Lets get ready to roll." said Sargent Henderson the upper third of his body exposed out of the hatch of the Leopard 2 Tank. Behind him was three more Leopards with 4 LAV-III, a Coyote RECCE vehical, a Leopard C2 With MEXAS Armour, behind that was six 5 Ton trucks full of combat ready soldiers, closing up the convoy is another 2 MEXAS Leopard C2s. The tracks and wheels began to roll and they crossed into Gallipoli-China.

OOC: I'm calling your saying "there's just a regiment in the area" a GODMOD, and ignoring it. For your information, there's a regiment and three battalions :P
IC: "What do you want to do about this Valideen invasion, Prime Minister?"
"Nothing. Like as not they're helping us with our population, and if they want their soldiers to bleed for that, let them. It's not like we can't demand the land back once we've crushed the rebellion."

OOC: it was just a Regiment in the area were we crossed the boarder, there could be 3 divisions but not in the invasion area.

If your nation wants land so bad, why attack a sovereign nation when there's empty land with only godless natives with spears on it surrounding you? Only spears. Probably.

Presidents Malcolms came on the screen, "My Fellow Citizens. At 4am this morning I ordered Imperial Valideen soldiers accross. I did this in order to Create a buffer zone between the civil war in Gallipoli-China and our land. I must be clear. Our husbands and wives, sons and daughters, mothers and fathers are over there to make sure the chaotic situation in our neighbouring Gallipoli-China does not spread. I hope our casualties are low in this operation. I hope for a swift exicution of this operation. And I tell you this, we will pull our troops out as soon as the situation in our neighbouring state is safe enough. Thank you and good night."

The sun blazed above the horizon now. The tanks were advancing accross a feild towards a river. Their objective was to secure a bridge that connected both sides of the river. "This is VCT-072, oproching objective. Over,"
"Copy that VCT-072. Orders are to hold east-south-east, sector B3-A6-Niner Zulu Alpha. Infantry will capture West-north-west sector of bridge, provide cover, over out."
The tanks were now coming towards the bridge, forming a wall of steal. Behind them was nearly 25 LAV-III infantry Section Carriers, each one donned a 25mm Cannon.
They were sweeping through the feild like a tsunami in water.
OOC: Your move, do you want to defend the bridge by launching an ambush or do you want me to continue unscathed.

A man ran up and pressed his hand on another mans shoulder. They were on a dark street. IN total there was 8 men, all dressed in black uniforms with no national indetifaction. They were leapfrogging up the street, covering all the angles of attack.
They were in a G-C city known as Macao. The street was barren of life, abandoned cars rittled the sides and paper swept down the gutters. The street was flanked with 3-5 story tall buildings.
OOC: How big is Macao and how close is it to Validus?

OOC: It's a medium-sized coastal city, that's pretty much directly west of Validus' northern border.
IC: Searchlights clicked on and began panning the streets. In the weeks since the beginning of the strike, the Local had taken over operations of the city, from providing food to municipal defense. The government had learned not to try to pull a Corfu when their bombers had been shot out of the sky on their way to what they thought was a milk run. But now that there were rumored to be troops to the south, a curfew had been imposed on all non-combatants, purely for their safety. You never knew when the Special Forces would show up.
And now it appeared they had. Feng signalled to his snipers, and ordered all the searchlights pointed at the Plaza. Four figures in black appeared. Scum. They'll pay for what they did, and for once Viktor isn't here to stop me. Him and the others are off spreading the revolution, so I've got these maggots all to myself. He decided to toy with the fascist traitors. "Identify yourselves. Quickly." He shouted through a megaphone, being sure to keep under cover.

The soldiers took cover behind cars. aiming up towards the spotlights. Where figures were now seen. "Who the hell are you!" Yelled the commanding officer. He signaled down to a team near the back, who were still out of sight, they were to get to a roof and set up a machinegun position.

"I represent the Strike Coordinating Committee of Local 302," shouted Feng. "We have taken this city from the Government, and we don't intend to give it back. Now, before you're killed, who are you?"

"We are official Represenatives of the Valideen Expeditionary Force, we are S.E.A.T." He glanced up at the roof top were the Machine Gun was Positioned in the shadows.

Valideens? The last time they tried to invade was three hundred years ago. "What is your purpose?"

"Maybe we could meet in a location with out guns pointed in both directio-," He was cut off by a thundering roar off in the distance, The Sky lit up like day for a second. A large explosion had happened near the outskirts of the city. "Well Do you want to meet or not?" Yelled the S.E.A.T. Commander.

No truly neutral territory could be found, so Feng had offered to have the meeting in the camp of SEAT, whatever that was. Hopefully, that would help to diffuse the situation. If it didn't, well, he had faced personal risk before.

As you all know, we have invaded the sovereign lands of Gallipoli-China. We did this to prevent civil striff from crossing into our nation. We are not conquring their lands, nor are we marching to their capitol. We are just holding a 100km buffer zone along our boarder.

If you are just trying to "prevent civil strife" from "crossing into your lands", then you can deal with any that does come in your own nation, instead of interfering in another country's civil war. Even if any strife came into your lands, then you can perfectly deal with it yourself.

If they want the street, that's all to the good. "The street will be fine," said Feng, motioning to the searchlight operators to turn the lights slightly away from the SEAT operatives. He ran down the stairs as fast as he could, stopping long enough to grab a pistol from a counter and jam it in his pocket.
He stepped out of the door. "Now, let's get this started. I have a question for you; what interest does Validus have in these lands?"

Captian Young got up from behind the car and slowely walked over to him, "None, we are just interested in keeping this war out of our lands." He looked down at a watch on his wrist, "Ok listen up. I was sent here to make contact with the 'People'. Tell me why we should help you,"

If you helped us, you'd gain a powerful ally and trading partner once we finally seize power. We know who our friends are, and if you help us, we'd be eternally grateful. Furthermore, helping us won't be that hard. Just keep this area clear of Fascist troops, allow us to take refuge in this area should the Fascists find out where we are, and funnel supplies to us."

"They bombed and invaded an entire city and razed it to the ground! There are only a few people left there keeping up some sort of resistance. They tried to do the same here, but you arrived a couple of weeks too late to see it. Our political party is banned, as are the trade unions, and rumors are that the Liberal Party and the Democrat Party are going to go next."

"Chinese or total? The police and the army have been concentrating their main efforts in Gallipoli, in the islands. The mainlande remains...relatively free. I don't suppose they think that the peasants they've crushed for hundreds of years could put up much resistance.
"To answer your quesiton, there are very few Gallipoli, whether High or Low, who support us. Corfu was one of our few strongholds there, and Luleburgaz has been cowed into submission. I'd estimate that about 60% of the Chinese we've managed to contact support us, which would translate to about 32% nationally."

"General! Scouts reporting troup movement in about 20km distance. They´re neither Gallipolli-Chinesian nor some of it´s allies. What shall we do?"
May Clearwater reported to her General.
General Siria nodded.
"Hmm...we already missed the capital. And we were ordered to fight for the Gallipolli-China government." she said slowly. "So, inform the officers where changing our direction again. We´ll fight them."
OOC: My troops are...um...left in G-C and don´t know the way to the capital. They won´t strike unless anyone opens fire at them or they get order to do.

OOC: The Valideens are entirely in the West lol. The capitol is on that smallish island that looks like it's almost split in two.
"Will you...um...look the other way if we need to smuggle arms and other supplies through your borders?"

"I don't see any smuggling," Captian Young turned around, and started walking away, "GET US EVAC!" He yelled to a man with a small transmitterpack.

Feng too walked away from the meeting place. He had some important phone calls to make, including one to Zyanya; she could switch her base of operations from Bustos-occupied Supremo to friendlier Validus.

"Yes"..."What!"..."Understood"
"What is it Henderson?" Asked Captian Young.
"They are shelling Liberty, sir. We have orders to set up drop zones just north of the city." Replied Henderson.
Captian young turns around and yells at Feng, "Looks like you will be recieving our help after all."

A Feniexian scout quickly rushed to the Valideen leaders. He held a white flag.
"Identify you. You´re in Gallipolli-Chinese territority and we´re not informed that you are our allies."

The entire platoon raised there weapons. Aiming for the man running at them with the whiteflag. "We are emembers of the Valideen Expeditionary Force, halt or you will be fired apon."

The man with the white flag stopped. "Valideens? Don´t be stupid. We want to speak to your leader." he said with a cold and calculated voice.

"I am the leader. You can talk to me. If it is important I will pass it along." stated Leutenant Monrow. "Now get on your knees," Monrow looked over to one of the soldiers who had their guns pointed at the Feniexian, "Corporal Search that man."
"Yes sir," he slung his weapon and walked over, he was covered by two Privates.

OOC: The scout carries one medikit, a MP-7, a Kevlar armor, in his pockets some Feniexian money, a identify card (with the name "Cedric Darayn" and the number "14432" on it) and a picture of his love, some kind of futuristic looking pocket PC and a UNI-visor* on his head.
*quick explain: a helmet with a ComLink, infrared sight and a visor which protects the eyes. A ComLink is some kind of radio communication headset.

"Sir, we got some spofisticated equipment here," stated the Corporal.
"Ok. Signaler!" yelled Monrow.
"Yes Leutenant?" replied a man with a radio pack on his back.
"Whats your name?" asked Monrow.
"Lester sir," replied Lester.
"Ok Lester. Get us a helicopter here along with some MPs, get this guy to FOB Kilroy."
"Yes sir," Lester got down on one knee and took off the handset to the Radio. He started talking through the mouthpeice. A few moments later, "Its on its way."
"Good." He turned to the Corporal who was standing over the Faniexian. "Hog him and ready for Evac."
"Yes sir," replied the Corporal as he reached into a pocket on his shirt for some zip tie hand cuffs.

The scout don´t really like this treating, but he follow the soldiers. He hands over the MP-7 but he refuses to take on the hand cuffs.

"Do you really think that´s necessary?" Cedric said with a sigh. "If we want to harm you we´d just opened fire. This treating of a Feniexian soldier and citizen carrying the white flag will surely have some kind of...influence at our nations relationships."

"Hmm...I wonder what those Valideens are planning." General Siria, who heard all throgh the ComLink, said to herself. "Clearwater?"
Warrant officer May Clearwater appeared at Sirias side. "What do you wish?"
"Go up there, and look what they´re doing." Siria ordered while pointing at a small hill with a tree and some bushes on it. "Report through your ComLink.".

OOC: Validus has a Standing Army of 920,000 Soldiers, the navy is 340,000, the Airforce is 210,000 and the Marine Corp is 460,000. These are standing Regular Force.
The Primary Reserve has a total of about 600,000 (all branches) and the Ready Reserve has a total of nearly 2 million.
(The Ready Reserve are citizens who partake in 4 weeks of Military Training a Year, most are Former Military, or Police)

"You will do what we say," Stated the Corporal as the sound of a three Griffon Helicopters could be heard coming over the hill. The Corporal grabbed the Feniexian's right arm and slipped on the restraint. He then did the same with the other arm. "Lets go," the Corporal grabbed his collar and started to move him fast towards were a single griffon had landed. The other two were in a holding pattern orbiting around the third chopper. They were both armed with Door guns, and rocket pods.
They reached the Helicopter were 3 armed men greated them. "The LT said take him to FOB Kilroy."
"Copy that coporal." said one of the men. They took him into their Helicopter. The Helicopter took off and headed back the way it came at Tactical height.

"Got it." Siria said as May reported to her that they took the scout with them. She innery loughed about the Valideens. "They don´t want to talk, but they´ll show us their base." She took out a pocket computer and activated the satelite map system.
"Officer Clearwater? Call for that G-C guys. Tell them we´re following some kind of Valideen troops, possibly enemies. Send them our current positions coordinates."
Then, she turned around, to mobillize the army.

OOC: The NAV-G sattelite system works mostly like GPS, but it´s more flexible - sattelite move etc. because it´s only used for military or government business. It don´t provides any maps unless they´re already scanned in the device or the satelite The scout have a sending device on him which is very small and won´t get detected very easily, because it´s implantated in his left arm (strong metal detectors will detect it although, like those in airports and governmental buildings). Oh, and please don´t kill or cripple him yet - if you want to get rid of him, just throw him in the sea near the coast or do something similar.

The Feniexian, who was looking at the floor, rasied his head and said, "Darayn, 14432."
"Come on boy, give me something to go on. We are all friends here," replyed the Warrant.
"ETA 3 Minutes," Stated the Pilot.

The Griffon slowed down and touched down in a small dirt opening in a small feild of tents which was surrounded by a wall of sandbaggs and dirt.
The door of the Griffon opened up as two men with MP on there arms ran up, "Take him to the Capt'n." stated the Warrent.

The MP grabbed his collar and pushed him towards a tent. INside the tent there was a Desk, with another MP sitting at it. "Name, Rank and Serial Number." He was given the information and he wrote it down in a book. "Strip him of everything but his uniform. Then take him to see the Captian."
**In Validus**
Ok, listen up this will be called Operation Peregrine Falcon. Peregrine Falcon will be a Massive Airborne Operation by the 1st and 2nd Airborne Divisions. Your jobs will be to take Objective Baker (The Large Island that is basicly connectected to Validus but divided by a little straight). We are expecting a low Casualty rate of Peregrine Falcon, however if required the Marines are preparing in Reserve, and they will do an amphibius assault if and when needed. Thank you, good luck. Dismissed."

***An undisclosed Airfield in Validus***
"So Toms, what do you think this will be called off?" asked a man prepping his jump equipment.
"Dosn't look like that Mcgregor I just hope I make it out in one peace, eh" replyed Toms.
"Aye. Gues what I heard about the guys up north." asked Mcgregor.
"I duno what," replied toms.
"That the G-C is raising entire cities, killing all the civilians. I gues its just a rumour but who knows,"
Another soldier, a woman cut in, "I heard that they are using civilians as human sheilds," she paused for a second, "If you ask me its bullshit but you never know. What do you think Toms?"
"I try not to think, hurts me head, eh. Lets just get this Op done with,"
The large Hanger door opened, and a man was standing in the entrence. "OK LISTEN UP!" He yelled, "KIT UP AND REPORT TO YOUR AIRCRAFT!" Everyone finished up what they were doing, and all 300 soldiers in the hanger started putting on their Parachutes and leg rucks, "MOVE DAMN IT!" Yelled the man again.
"Looks like its go time," Said Toms.

***FOB Kilroy***
The Captian was sitting accross a table, in a small tent located near the center of FOB Kilroy. The MPs brought in the guest and set him down at the chair. "Take off his writst restraints." The MP replied and then took out a knife and cut off the zip ties. "Good, thank you Corporal. Dismissed." The Captian looked accross the table, "Name, rank, Service Number."
***Over G-C Territory***
A red light poped on beside the door, the jump master noticed and stood up, "STAND UP." he motioned them to stand up. Two platoons of soldiers stood up and grabbed the hooks for their chute release cords. "HOOK UP." The jumpmaster hooked up his Chute, as did every other soldier on the Plane. "SOUD OFF." The plane counted down as the troops checked the gear of the trooper infront of them. The light turned Yellow, "THIRTY SECONDS." Two Technitians opened the jump doors on either side of the aircraft. The light Turned Green. "GO! GO! GO!" Yelled the Jump Master has he started pushing his troopers out of the Air plane. Two solid streams of Parachutes were now visible out of each of the C-130 Aircraft.

Scout Officer is almost the same rank as Warrant Officer, although there are few little differences.

***Operation Peregrine Falcon***
Toms hit the ground hard, his ruck had hit a second before. His Chute Collapsed on the ground and he unhooked the shoulder straps. Soon after unhooking his parachute he unhooked the body line to his Ruck sack and then lifted up his Ruck and started running towards the treeline.

"Why we are in China? The only thing I know is that the Feniexian Government have started some kind of military operation to keep peace here. That´s all General Siria know. But maybe you should speak to her yourself."

"Your General isnt here, you are." The Captain walked around the table not taking his eyes off the soldier sitting in the chair. "Ok, your telling me that you are a high ranking non-com in your nations military, and a scout to boot but you dont know anything?"

"No. Scout officer. Scouts in our nations are trained to survive and we get our ranks by our skills.
We only got a short briefing what to do in case we get imprisoned, and my mission was to deliver a little Pocket PC to you. The only thing I know is that we are here to keep peace here as I said. We are to supposed to defeat some kind of terrorist organisation. The say they did...cruel things, so we are here to let them pay. At least, that´s what the Gallipolli-Chinese was telling our General." he said. Then, he added: "Sorry, but one of your soldiers has token this Pocket PC away..."

The Captian pulled out the PDA, "You mean this?" He paused for a moment. "You do know the G-C Government raised a city, with the Civilian population still with in. Terrible things people do in war,"

"Keep low, watch for sillouets on the horizon. We can expect a counter attack soon enough,"

The Second Army had mad the march from the north of the peninsula, where they had been expecting a rising, to Taipei in almost record time. The mad dash had taken its toll on morale, and now there were mutterings in the ranks that after a day and a night without sleep, they were expected to fight.

A man entered the doorway of the makeshift Divisional HQ, "Sir, DZs Charles, Romeo, and Foxtrot are reporting fresh troops have just arrived. We are now numbering nearly 14,000, sir."
"Good, tho we can be easily cut to peices once they find out how thinely spread out are men are. What is the ETA on the Marine Landings?"
"Matter of days, sir."
"How many Thunderbolts do we have with these recent drops?"
"We have roughly 120 M8s, sir."
"Good, I want the armour to regroup here, here, and here," He pointed at a map on the table.
"Understood sir."

Darayn took the PDA and pushed some buttons on it. "Here." he said and gave the PDA back to the Captain. "There´s a camera, and there´s the microphone."
Suddenly, a voice come out of the speakers of the PDA. "Connection established." it said.
Then, a picture of a pale-faced, withe-haired woman, which looks like 30, appeared on the PDA screen. "General Mayia Siria. I assume you are the responsible for the army operations in the G-C borderlands?" she said politely. Feniexians are always politely as much as possible.

"Nope, im just responcible for my Battalion. I can arrange for you to meet with General Casy, Division Commander. But first I need some answers. Why are your troops in the G-C? How many? What kind of armourments do they have? Vehicals? Help me and I will help you." The Captain patiently awaited the reply as he signaled for an MP to come over. He wispered, "Take him to holding,"

Darrayn let the guard take him with them peacefully. He only requested a book so he don´t get bored.
"You see" Siria said "If we say you too much you might harm us. But as our sign of good will and peacefully desires I try to answer your questions as clearly as possible."
She took a short break.
"Feniexia´s troops are in Gallipolli-China to keep peace. As you might know, the G-C government asked globally for help against some kind of terrorists. At highest order of the Emperor himself we moved with 90.000 soldiers, mainly recrutes, in three zeppelins, or air ships, as you might call them, in the G-C lands. Our troopers are mainly equipped for sieges and defense of cities or other...difficult terrain. We have only some transporter vehicles, only for myself there is some kind of tank. And now, please tell me your business in G-C borderlands." she said politely and with a clear, neutral voice. Either she is a very good actress or she is speaking the truth.

"We are at war." The Captain exhailed, "You do know that the G-C government raised an entire city right? With the Civies still inside? We are fighting for the people, and right now the Chinese want to be free from their governments oppressive rule. I hope I don't meet you on the battlefield, so OI sugest you leave the G-C,"

A man walked into the tent, "Captain, report from HQ. It states that a G-C Fleet that was bombarding Liberty hsa been destroyed, the remaining ships have surrenderd to the War Fleet."
"Good, Dismissed" He turned back to the screen, "We have destroyed a portion of the G-C navy with sustaining minor casualties. General. . . I sugest you pull your men and women out of harms way before we do to the G-C Army, what we did to the G-C Navy."

Convoys of Tanks, Trucks, AFVs, Jeeps, and marching soldiers were heading into G-C Territory, hundreds more by the hour. Currently the force in Validus Controled mainland China had risen to 27,400 combat capable soldiers. Operations against the G-C Government Army were about to begin.

"No." she said clearly. "Feniexia is a honourous nation. We won´t let them get away with this. Please understand me - we have to keep our pride. See, if we accept that for now, maybe another time another weakened nation will do the same thing. We thrusted them - and they betrayed us."
She took a short break. Then, she asked, now calmed down and in a neutral voice:

***Taipei Outskirts***
The man wispered to a another, "Go, Go!" spaced out, a company of soldiers ran out forward, it was dark. A squadron of M8 tanks were waiting at the treeline.
"Charlies Company in position, over." wispered a man into a handset.
"Copy, Alpha, Bravo, and Dog companies are moving up. out," a line of soldiers rushed out of the treeline, towards the position Charlies company had taken, there was no incoming enemy fire. . . yet.

High on a hill, General Jeishi surveyed the scene. To his right was Taipei, which by all accounts was waiting to explode in revolution. It must be pacified, and he'd worked out how to do it. If the army won a battle on the city's account, in its defense, the citizens would regain its trust, a trust that would not be squandered again.
His Aide d'Camp, Milo Cyros, stood behind him, also surveying the scene, but from a quite different perspective. He saw only the death that would await both sides, and the collateral damage that would inevitably occur in the city. His father had pushed him into the military, and he'd never thought to leave, but it was at moments like this that he came close.
He could see the general send the order to move closer, which would inevitably make G-C engage Valideen. He knew his army; despite the ancient hatred of the Valideens, they had proven themselves friends of the people, and this army wouldn't just lay that aside. He could see the hesitation with which the units below followed the order, and he knew what he must do.

"Major," called a man wearing glasses, "We need to make contact with the local underground. Before the rest of the division moves in, and before the Marnines make there landings."
"Yes sir, I will send out a platoon into the city to see if they can make contact with anyone friendly." stated the major, while pearing over a map.
"Do it," ordered the man wearing glasses.
"Yes General, sir," replied the Major.
***Forward Observation Platoon, Charlies Company***
They were walking through the relativley clean streets of Taipei, right now they were walking down a residential area. The 40 men of the Forward Observation Platoon were very cautius of their surroundings, keeping at least 5 meters distance between each soldier, and walking up each side of the street.
About 100 meters down the street a door opened, and a man stepped out. The platoon took cover.

"Just let them know you mean to contact them. Tell them the truth."
"Very good, sir."
Milo hung up, just as Jeishi's face turned towards him.
"Ah, it is going well. Soon the Valideens will be crushed, and the city will be ours again. What was that you were doing?"
"You will never know," said Milo, shooting the General in the chest. Quickly he spoke into the radio, on a channel only he and his cohorts used.
"The mutiny's begun. Pass the word to the men, and if any officer gets in your way...kill 'em."
