OOC: Emp, I believe it's right above DSA, which side, I dunno.
Music is the key to the heart.

"Once art to me was something far off, unfathomable and unreachable... But I discovered that the real essence of art was not something high up and far off, it was right inside my ordinary daily self. If a musician wants to be a fine artist, he must first become a finer person. A work of art is the expression of a person's whole personality, sensibility, and ability." -Shinichi Suzuki

It's completely to the north of the DSA. A strip of colony running along the northern border, maybe 250 kilometers tall.

Oh, so basically, it runs from the western coast to the eastern one in a 250km wide band?

Yes. Obviously the border would be curved and such to make it look more realistic, but that's the basic premise.

"The East Coast, men." said one officer in command of a platoon of soldiers. His happened to be the first to reach it.

"But just because we're here doesn't mean the conquest is over." He pointed to the north.

"250 kilos that way, and then we head west. Luckily this time some men from towns across the region have also been ordered to go north to help us. My guesstimate is one or two months before this whole land is Myrorian. Well, we'll rest here for the night men. We need to give our...slower compatriots time to catch up", he said with a grin.

Meanwhile, in Yale, a force of about 80 men - roughly half of the men that came in to conquer - strapped on their gear among the brick-and-wood buildings being erected around the yurts. By now the natives were allowed to come out, and, though they were shy at first, they began to trade with the soldiers partly out of choice and partly out of fear.

The men, however, tried their best to present themselves not as enemies, but friends. This was hard to do when your family's men were buried by them.

Leaving the village aboard some ATVs and ULTRA APs, the men were told to the northeast there was a native tribe that was predominant in this region. The nation wasn't nearly the size of some of the small countries ot the east, but it was a sizeable chunk of land to grab. They also knew that this conquest could win them at least a little respect of those they conquered: The tribe they had mentions demanded tributes and women through fear and manipulation.

So continued the luxury space the Myrorian government wanted.

The forces all arched to meet in the rough center of the planned colony, near the northern border. Here the capital would be established. The men in the east could go through faster by taking entire Indian nations at once, but the men in the west had to subdue village by village, but to hurry things up they would only subjugate ones they encountered, and go after the rest after the colony was officially established. About 3 months after the army reached the coast, and about 7 months after the entire operation began, Lëitzembeurg was declared completed and a Myrorian colony. There were a couple villages left to conquer still, but the basic colony had been completed.

Total losses (Myrorians): About 5,000.

Total losses (Natives): About 7,000.

OOC: The width is also being shortened to 200 kilometers. More realistic in the time it took to conquer the land.

OOC: I'm dropping the umlaut above the "e". I was tired of that zomgabsolutelyneeded é in Peté, I'm not going to the umlaut.

ACHTUNG!

Myrorian citizens: Land in Leitzembourg is selling at the low, low, price of 500 Kolonialreich marks an acre! For inquiries, see the Imperial Office of Real Estate in O. For the plane to the capital of Leitzembourg -  Leitzembourg - please go to your local airport.

Novrith - Novrith International Airport
Quarrovth - Quarrovth Jetport
Pelagis - Pelagis Aeroplane Center
Ivorheart - Ivorheart Airport
Traval City - County Traval Jetport

Thank you.

Maria Schnaud, and her husband, Joseph, looked at the poster. Joseph knew how to read, but Maria didn't. Joseph read it to her and she lit up.

"500 marks? Is that cheap?"

"Very cheap. We're paying less per year for our insula. If we left, we could buy some land on the coast, maybe build us a house on the beach...maybe even teach you to read!"

"I'd like that, Joseph. Let's go."

"We can't just go, honey. We'd need to sell our things in the insula, save for some clothes, to pay the contractors. Or maybe I could get Franklin to help me; he's a carpenter, I'm a plumber. Besides, he said he was moving out there anyway. I'll think about it, honey."

"Final boarding call for Flight 872 to Leitzembourg, Leitzembourg. 5 minutes to departure."

"Look at you, Annake. You and your little girl steps, arms flailing. If you want to make a plane, you've gotta run like a MAN!"

A minute or so later, Wilbert Loes arrived at the counter next to the bridge to the plane. Annake arrived a couple of seconds later.

"I would laugh if I wasn't out of breath as it is."

"Come on, it wasn't that far." Wilbert put the two tickets on the counter where the steward was standing and entered the bridge to the plane. Unlike the lower-class Schnauds, Wilbert Loes was a banker, and his girlfriend Annake Sabien a cook at a swanky restaurant. They could both read, which was a rare feat in Myroria. They planned to sign the papers for a fairly expensive house in the north of Leitzembourg, and Annake would return to working at the branch of her restaurant there while Wilbert would go back to banking. It wasn't all that much of a change for them, but the beautiful lands to the east presented an interesting, thrilling experience. And apparently people were willing to fork over 500 KRM an acre to get that thrill.

"Well, Joseph, I'd be happy to help you with your dream home. You'll need more than just me, though. How much money do you think you'll get from the stuff in your insula?"

"Maybe 9,000 marks. That's enough for an acre, and to pay the contractors, I think."

"Well, you're going to have a small house. Maybe slightly bigger than your insula now. I'd help you for free - I've already bought a house there so I won't need to work on my own, and I got a friend who's an electrician over there. Maybe he'd help you for cheaper."

"I think I'll move over there. I mean, Maria and I won't be cramped in a little insula in the middle of the city..."

"You aughta go. I hear it's nice over there."

"But where will I stay when I'm building the house?"

"Oh, you and Maria could stay with me. Or I could pull some strings with Great House Quarrovth and they could get you a yurt from a village nearby."

"Well, if you could get the yurt, I'd take it. I don't want to be a bother."

"I'm not sure how successful I'd be, I'm only a Steward. If it doesn't work, you can just stay with my wife and I. You're not a bother."

"Just like raising a barn, Joseph. You ever raise a barn?"

"No, I haven't. I lived in the middle of Traval City, Johnathan."

"Well, my family used to do it. 'Going Pennsylvanian', we'd call it. Up she goes."

The framework for the left wall was lifted up by Joseph and some of his workers, and nailed into place. Joseph walked to his wife.

"I like it, Joseph. It's coming along good."

"Thanks. We should have the siding on by the end of the week, then we'll put up the walls, lay down some carpet and put up insulation and drywall, and maybe we'll be living in here by the end of next month."
