An announcement to the world
For the First time the Glorious Irnotian Empire is opining its borders to foreign tourists
20 box seats and 2,000 general seats are being set aside in this years Augustian Celebratory Games for Non-Citizens. Here they will be able to see the greatest sporting event in all of Irnotia.
Here will be held Battles of more then 100 gladiatorial matches in the one week celebration, hundreds of animal fights, chariot races and even Mock Navel battles using classic wood warships and ancient weaponry.
All would be needed is to purchase the tickets
1000 Irnotian Lyre for a week long pass to the events, Box seats for sale at 50,000 Lyre.
Then present photo Id and allow searches for weapons.
After this you will be allowed to enter the northern island.
WARNING
any private ships found to be leaving the northern island for the main land will be shot with out warning.
You will not be exempt from any laws of our nation and will be held to them, ignorance of law is not a defense.

I will require the allowance of my personal armed gaurds. As a head of state, along with the high profile guests I plan to invite, our personal safety can only be entrusted in our personal guards. Will this be allowed?

you will be allowed guards, just know for each guard you have their will be armed personnel ready to fire on them if they get out of hand. Normally no armed guards are allowed, but as you are a head of state you will be allowed to have them.
If you request it we can give you a box seat near the Box of the Immortal Imperium, they will have the greatest view of all seats allowed for purchase of non-citizens.

However, as General Mars is the nephew and only heir to the König, he will require three to five armed bodyguards. They will be lightly armed, with pistols only, and heavy body armor. We hope that this is exceptable. If so, 54,000 Lyre or 11,489.36 geldbars will be transferred to you.

ooc: you must know that no guns are allowed or armor, you may only fight using one of the official gladiatorial fighting styles, and most fights do not end in death.
your request is strange but if you wish to fight and risk our life you may do so, you will need to follow the laws of our fights that have been in place for thousands of years and can not be changed for any person.

The Final preparations of the events are coming to an end. Civilian tickets have been selling well and will soon start the events.
The Schedule for the first day is as follows
10-11: Marching bands, Dancing Presentations celebrations
11-12: Public executions by animal and other methods
12-3: Chariot races
3-4: Animal Fights
4-7: First Round of Gladiatorial fights
8-9: Fights and Fireworks

The Imperial marching band lead the crowds towards the Main Colosseum, the games were to start. Animals of many different types and shapes in cages. Prisoners sent to die moving along in cages. People celebrating the massive festivities. People were dancing and reveling in the celebrations, wine was flowing freely.
The opening events were set to start, great flames erupted from the ends of the arena. Dancers in every form of outfit flooded the central area. The dance of hundreds of dancers, music being played from all ends. The performance was the same preformed for centuries, the dancers of Aphrodite having the clearly most erotic display as was their god.
The festivities had just started. The stadiums were crowded with people honoring the immortal leader of the Empire.

The three Talmänner Generals and their guards watched and revered the gods and goddesses as each came into the arena. Each General watched and kneeled until their presiding god came in, at which point they stood until that god left. And, at the exit of every god, especially Bacchus, they drank a full cup of wine and poured another.

The Grand Duke Demitrii Aragan, his Minister Aleixius Valens and a body guard from the Familgia Ducale, the extended family of the Duke, were watching the parade from their box seats.
The Grand Duke grinned as the cages of prisoners was pulled along.
"They certainly seem like a feisty group. They'll give the animals a fair chase I pray."
Alexius was more interested in the out pouring of worship for the Emperor. A nation that will go through such a display to honor their Gods. The decadence would make the architect of a Cathedral blush. It was almost a little embarrassing to be outdone by Pagans, and the young man who now calls himself a Grand Duke certainly didn't seem to care, but if the prioners and the animals were any indication, this would be an interesting couple of days.

The new set of prisoners were released, the wild beasts roamed their fur covered in blood. The prisoners were all unarmed, a few weapons from past rounds was in the field. The 9 prisoners rushed to gather the weapons, the Irnotian Fans cheering for blood and chaos. At the end of the animal executions the speech by the Immortal Imperium would happen, but before then much more death would happen.
The Prisoners were a vast mix of crime, all things that were sentenced to death by the government. It was for a rather large amount of crimes. One woman rushed to grab a sword, fear pulsing off her face. She turned lifting the sword, as a massive cat pounced on her, tearing her flesh and ripping her organs. Her screams were surpassed by the cheers of the crowd, her face displayed on screens.
The other prisoners began to panic and try and get to weapons, one who was sent here for killing his family managed to kill a beast with a spear that was found, but a wolf got him from behind. The Prisoners were slain. Soon the animals were drawn out to cages on the side.
The cheers and revelry continued. A blast of trumpets singled the end to the prisoner executions for now. And attention was given to the massive box on the end of the Arena. All Irnotian Citizens stood, and in a great choir chanted “PRAISE TO THE EMPEROR! IMORTALITY TO THE IMPERIUM!”
From the box came out a beautiful woman dressed in the a ornate traditional Irnotian Dress. She stood, Lina Ceaser the Immortal Imperium herself. Raising her hands the seeming chaotic crowd came to silence as she began to talk.
“Welcome to this celebration in year 1546 Rule of the Emperor. We come here to celebrate in the oldest and most pure form of our people. We celebrate with the joys of love food and dance. Give Honor by the blood of the vile, and show strength with the fights of the warriors.
This great festival holds its fist in our hearts, its roots going back thousands of years of our national history. This year is a first in over a thousand years, outside nations get to witness our festivities. See the side of our nations that has been masked for many years. See the way we the great people of this nation, the great people of the three tribes of Irn, Gir, and Fir, united under one name one mantle on glory. That is Irnotian, an Empire, a Nation, A family.
This day, I raise our united prayers and celebrations to the gods. I am the Embodiment of our nation, I am the United souls and dreams of our nation. And By this I call to the gods, bring us your greatest blessings, bring us your honor. Let you guide those faithful to you another year. For with your guide we shall become a strong people, a proud people and give honor to you for another Millennium.
With this I say, Let all hearts rejoice, and Let this Celebration Continue!”
The crowd erupted in cheers, she smiled, turned and nodded towards the boxes near hers who were purchased by the outsiders, and walked back into hers. The last of the executions, these done by more simple methods of Crucifixion, and burning. While these were done the arena was transformed. The large open sand pit was divided, and partitions and medians placed. The chariot races would start soon enough.
The celebrations was moving on its first day. The crowd filled with the excitement of blood drugs and sex kept celebrating the Irnotians seemings to be one mass. The people of the three tribes were at their closest in these celebrations. It was a Site to be seen for sure.

Grand Duke Demitrii was enamored by the violence and the crowd. He was in a trance in the bloods and revelry.
Alexius was more interested in the crowd then the violence or the Empress. They were cheering the violence and thought of violence to come. The pagan festivities were a feast for the senses and the people greedily partook, taking the senses and pleasure they gained with the festival and associating it with patriotism and loyalty. A genius plan he thought. A shame that the Duchy banned these pagan rituals.

Upon leaving the his box, Algerianbania President Jordan Hjuylio wanted nothing more than to get a nice tasty pretzel. The Irnotians made the best salted pretzels south of Bustos. While he was at the pretzel stand he ran into Hugjy Iuyy, one of the lottery winners from Algerianbania. He began to chat with him, no doubt about the spectacle that was being shown to them.
"The animal show was incredible. I wonder where they found all of those exotic beasts, you excellency."
"Please skip the formalities. Probably from the surrounding region. I don't know the exact extent of the Irnotian colonization but they in all probability received animals from around there as well. This is a mean pretzel."
"That it is sir. You know Algerianbania ought to be thinking about colonization ourselves."
"And we have been mate. I have laid a plan many a time to my council, but they refuse to sign off on it. As does the House. They both believe that Algerianbania's population should be larger, so that we have more of a reason."
"What more of a reason to we need sir. We are a landlocked nation. We must reach the sea or else we shall perish up the wrath of larger nations."
"That is what I keep saying, but the rest of the government is corrupt and has their feet to the ground, more firmly than a Alpan (((Alpan is slang for Algerian Panda))) hugs her cub." President Jordan sighed. "Well we must be returning to our seats. I think I will seek out Emperor and thank her for this great occasion."
With that he turned, looking for the grand box, think about the conversation that he just had had.

The Irnotian people care little about your feeble stomachs and misguided morals. The history of your nation is just a post it in the glorious and long history of both our nation and these games. If you feel your little protests will have any affect on these events or on our nation your are highly ignorant and pathetic.
On this note we shall state that in the future keep your, and your governments weakness a secret as it does nothing but show that you are a nation of people unable to handle the most base of human activities.
If we find you do anything to interfere in this the retaliation will be much worse then anything you could ever do to them.

ooc: the people of Irnotia don't really take protests from outs side nations with much thought. They highly dislike and distrust foreigners, so one who disagrees them is even more sub human to them. Yup yup. Don't take it as an attack against ya, its just how I am running the nation.

The Box holding the Immortal Imperium held a dozen Praetorians in the front. Each one armed with a Military special forces rifle, multiple handguns and other arms. Each was covered from head to foot in a black leather outfit, wearing a gas mask and red goggles. On their shoulder was a badge showing the image of a traditional praetorian from ancient times. The praetorian stood motionless, a red line was on the walls, with a sign “Pass this line and never shall you move again”
on the other side of the dead line sat a woman at a desk, a little sign stating her name “Alix Aiton: Visitation Secretary”
Her Blond hair was pulled back and her clothing was a blue and white dress. She sat typing a way on her computer a tv next to her open to show the games.

The Chariot Races had begun the Heats were a brutal affair, in the current race 6 charioteers raced at full speed. In the lead wearing a Blue and White cape, the colors of the people of the Fir tribe. The racer was Jean Jak, the highest ranked none Irn in the entire racing league.
He turned as he pushed his horses faster, a little fool was trying to take him on the side, he took his whip and began to snap at the mans face. Snapping he tears a hole in the mans cheek, but didn't stop the mans push to pass. On the other side someone else tried to past, with a yell he turned and snapped, hitting the man hard in the face tearing his nose open the only thing keeping his eye in was the helm they wore. The man jerked sending his horses into the central bearer, the cart slamming in shattering and sending the rider flying into the air the crowd cheering violently. By the time the man hit the ground and was gathered up by medical crews the eyes had already moved past.
Jean pushed hard forward looking back, he saw the arm being raised and turned his face forward and grimaced as the whip tore into his back stripping flesh from him. Mumbling curses to himself he pushed hard. Slowly pulling away from the group. He heard the noise of another crash behind him and the roar of the crowd proved it had happened. At the finale stretch he moved his animals snapping at them to go faster. Blowing past the end line he slowed down raising his fist in the air. This race was his.

Minister Alexius watched as the in the shear and clear form transitioned from itself into the more controlled variation, with the constant evident violence of the prisoner executions over with, the crowd was being calmed with the raucous show that was the chariot race.

The three generals watched in awe as the chariot racing drew to a close.
"I am in shock," said General Tunmann, "at the ferocity of these games. It surpasses the old wars!"
"Oh, come on now, cousin..." Mars said. "'Tis not that bad. Besides, it is tradition here. We can certainly bear tradition, stimmt?"
"Ja, Herr? Are you not a man of war and cannot take such grueling sights? What man are you?" (Blitzer)
(Tunmann) "Ach... maybe you are right. But come, the next events will certainly occur soon!"

The Chariot races came to an end with excitement. the remains of some of the fallen chariots was removed and the field cleaned and leveled. Soon the animal fights would start.

The First of the fights started, Animal combated Gladiators would show their skills. The skill of man vs that of nature. The first to fight was a young man vs that of a lion, the fabled king of the wild. The lion had already tasted human blood as it had been used earlier to kill prisoners, the gladiator walked out in its armor and wielding a gladius. The lion moved around its prey with the keen skill of a predator, the warrior spinning his blade in his hand and never letting his eye drift, the audience calling for action.
The lion did the mobs will, leaping from its position at its enemy. The Gladiator moved to the side slashing his blade deep into the leg muscle of the great creature. The lion let out a roar turned and charged down the warrior. The Man stood his ground spun his blade to put on some show and slide the blade into the eye of the great cat. The beast dropped, the first of the many fights was done. Many more were to come.

The Fights were hard and brutal, soon the Final spectacle of the games would start. The corpses of animals and those fighters who did not prove themselves were removed from the field.
Three sets of gladiators walked into the arena, One a Net and Trident, two Gladius and arm, one Blade and Shield, one Full Armor and a war ax, and the last a woman Armed with a war spear. They pair up nod to each other, and with a release of fireworks begin to fight. The Warrior with the Trident rushes one of the Gladiu warriors, swinging his net about to try and gather him, and thrusting rapidly at the feet of the enemy keeping him off balance. The other gladius warrior brings his weapon to bear on the shield of his opponent, with a rapid display of skill and slashes he works against the opponent. The final pair a large man in full armor swinging his ax above his head against the small woman with a war spear.
These were to be good fights.
Ooc:im going to do a few more posts till the end of this events, if anyone wants to talk to the immortal imperium or something go for it, after I do these fights im ending it all. :D

Up in the Talstadt box the three generals were placing bets amongst each other on who would stand champion. Merne had his geldbars on the man with the Trident, Josev had his on the man with the war ax, and Mars bet on the gladius warrior attacking the sheilded man. Each was laughing or cheering as the battle continued, and the struggle to become champion progressed.
