Horatio Quarrovth's personal train rolled through the countryside. It was beautiful, but dotted by ruined cities and rickety old buildings. As his train entered a large city dotted with fallen statues and broken iron heads, an old sign, nearly fallen, read:
Welcome to Baltija - Best nation in the world.
The vibrations of the train going past caused the sign to break loose of it's posts and fall. It stuck in the snow-covered ground. Horatio's wife, Isabella, approached him.
"Was this what you were looking for?"
"Yes honey, please, put it on that table over there."
"Of course."
Horatio walked to the table that had an old piece of parchment on it. He took his fountain pen out of his pocket and unfurled the parchment. It showed a map of Taijitu, looking of about 1850's quality, and said in large blackletter in the bottom right corner:
"Das Pelagianische Reich".
Large quantities of the map were dyed yellow. The Pelagian Empire was the predesessor to what was now Myroria. The Pelagian Empire was also known as Myroria, however, it's official name came from it's capital. The Pelagian Empire's arch rival, the Irnotian Empire, was marked in purple. Both empires had decreased substancially since the map was made, but the Irnotian Empire was still clinging to life even today. Only Horatio and his wife Isabella knew why they were sent to the ruins of Baltija. The explanation to the engineer and the train's staff was "To care for those displaced by the fall of Baltija". However, the metal on Horatio's vest suggested otherwise. It was the badge of a Conquesteur.
-
OOC:
Mind if my people are exploring Baltija too? I was in alliance with him, and my government still wonders about him^^
Oh, and it means "Das Pelagianische Reich".
-
OOC: Sure. Do you plan to make land claims, or are you just exploring?
-
Horatio walked to the engine and told the engineer to stop the train. Once it had stopped, a staff member opened a door and pushed some stairs off the side. Horatio returned to his bed car, walked to the dresser, and opened the top drawer. Inside was a folded flag of Myroria. Horatio picked it up, along with a flag pole at the other end of the car. He exited the train and walked to the gardens of a ruined palace. He planted the silk flag in the ground next to the fallen head of a statue of Pashka, and raised it to the top.
"I claim this land, and all around it, for Myroria! God save the King!"
"God save the King!" yelled the staff who were assembled behind him.
But claiming the land was easier than owning it.

The Feniexian General and a Councilwomen stepped out of of their MH-35 Pave Low in the middle of a big Baltijan city.
"Anyone here?" the old, white-bearded human General, keeping himselv standing with a polished, silvered iron stick, shouted.
"That´s strange, not, Yashimo-san?" the young, silver-blonde haired, High-One Councilwomen said.
"At first, we don´t hear anything of them, and when we come to their lands, nobody seems to be here."
"Maybe we should claim this lands. Better now than later." Yashimoto suggested.
"Do you agree, Myriel-san?"
The Councilwomen nodded. "Private, bring one flag here.", she ordered a nearly standing soldier who just came out of another helicopter. "Hai, sire!" he said and sprinted back in the helicopter. Soon, he came back, and brought back a telescopic flag with an large, red Phoenix with flaming wings, holding a book in it´s claws, in the background, a silvern sword and some Shyrie text.
General Yashimo and Councilwomen Myriel took both the flag with each one hand.
"I, Councilwomen of Explorations and Ground Colonies Myriel Shykh, declare this lands as claimed.
Shay ta Feniecia!"
"I, General Yashimo Akira of Feniexia, declare this lands as claimed. Shay ta Feniexia."
Then, they both rammed the flag into the earth. Quickly, two soldiers came and helped them, because neither of them was physically strong.
"Here we´ll building up our Operational Base. Order the soldiers to work."
"Surely, Myriel-san."
OOC: Both, as you can see.
"Shay ta Feniecia" means something like "Honour to Feniexia". And yes, Feniexia is only the english form, the "real" form in Shyrie is "Feniecia" (spoke "c" as "sh"). No spelling error ^^.
Note: In the japanese language (which is Feniexians 2nd native language (besides english. All citizens learn both at the same time, although they need more time to learn japanese), surnames are before forenames...
Let me explain: If your name is Joe Schmo, and if you were a japanese citizen, they would call you Schmoe, and write your name Schmoe Joe^^...exception: Very good friends can use the forename.
-san means something like "Mr./Ms." and is added to each name except when you speak of yourself.
Addition: High Ones can decide what they want, however, all high-ranked persons speak to them using their forenames when they know each other.
-
"Did you hear that, Horatio?"
"No, honey, what?"
"I just thought I heard a yell. No matter."
"Hmm...we'd better tell everyone we're here regardless. I bet it was nothing, but it's better safe then sorry."
"Engineer! Get in the train and blow out a loud horn!"
"Yes, sire."

A man was walking down the rail road tracks when he saw a train on it.
That's odd I thought this was abandoned
The Baltijan looked more and saw a foreign flag, he knew he recognized it before, except what was it? Was it Eluvatar? Myroria...
The Baltijan got off the path and went through the forest and was running as fast as he could to get to the militia. The man was still running until he saw a bunch of men running towards him. He stopped and paused to see who they are. They were armed with OC-14s, Type 88s, G3s, Mp-44, Mp-5s, Ak-47s, Ak-74s and with RPG-7s one of them even had an I-19.
"Fellow Jonas, where are they?"
Jonas pointed in the direction where he came from. At the roads he saw 2 Tanks pass by. Old Baltijan T-80 tanks That rolled onto the rails and shot their turrets at the train. The Baltijans charged up firing all over, Snipers firing and picking off the survivors. Nobody messed with Native Baltija.
-
Orders were shouted into the radio to the artillery and mortar station outside the Ghost town. The coordinates were stated as the radio man shouted them to the aimers. The mortars and Artillery were aimed and then loaded.
"Fire at will!"
The cannons shot off and were constantly reloaded and fired, the radio shouting new coordinates.
OOC: At you Nathaniel
-
Lt. Alexander heard firing coming from the south. He was in the caboose of the train, escorting Lord Horatio. He and his platoon had be specially trained just for protecting nobles and important people. He called to all 50 of his troops.
" Ok, someone is firing at the train. I'll tell the captain to stop the train. As soon as that's done, jump out quickly and form 5 man teams around each side of a car, in case of a ambush from all sides. Get out the sanbags and set them up. The other 10 will follow me and make a vanguard against the attacking side. " he commanded.
After arguing with the captain of the train, Alexander managed to get the train to a standstill. He could hear his men hopping of the train with the sandbags. After checking himself for his equipment, he led his 1 man team outside.
-
The tank crew inside one of the T-80s fired their turret and then the commander told the driver, "Position parallel with the tracks and on the tracks, Time to play chicken."
The driver positioned the tank along the tracks and then pushed the tank forward at full speed, ramming it against the train. The second one did the same but came from the side and rammed it from the side, Knocking over the train. The Baltijan Militias Fired RPG-7s at the men carrying sand bags and at the Train station itself. From behind the Baltijans rushed forward and shot others placing sand bags. The militias measured larger numbers than the 50 squad that was getting mutilated by RPGs, Snipers, Machine guns, and Assault Rifles.

To the Baltijan People/Militia Members,
Your attack will not go without retaliation. Surrender your lands to the Myrorian Theocracy immediately or be subject to:
1. Complete invasion by United Imperium armed forces, which include, but are not limited to:
1a. The Myrorian Stormtrooper Corps.
1b. The Myrorian Army.
1c. The Myrorian Air Force.
1d. The Myrorian Navy.
1e. The Ryazanian Army.

2. Impressment of all Baltijan men 15 years of age or older into the Myrorian and/or Ryazanian armed forces.
3. The internment of all Baltijan women, and Baltijan children under the age of 15.
4. The instatement of the Myrorian Catholic Church as the official religion.
5. Loss of all lands (you will be guaranteed your property to own yourself, but the Myrorian government will have control over all public lands and will do as we see fit with them)
Should you, the Baltijan People, surrender peacefully, you will:
1. Loss of all lands (you will be guaranteed your property to own yourself, but the Myrorian government will have control over all public lands and will do as we see fit with them)
2. The instatement of the Myrorian Catholic Church as the state religion.
3. Peace and stability as part of the United Imperium (currently comprised of the Seven Kingdoms of Ryazania and the Theocratic Kingdom of Myroria).
Choose wisely,
Alvar Hanso, Chancellor of Foreign Affairs.

Not much Feniexian soldiers died. The helicopters quickly opened fire at the militians. The General and the Councilwomen quickly rushed in their MH-35. Abrahams tanks are firing back. They effectifely started to destroy their enemies systematically.
To: The Baltijan Militia Members
From: General Yashimoto Akira of Feniexia
You attack your former allies. We won´t tolerate this.
Now, we give you the chance to surrender and join the Feniexian Empire as protectorate.
You have not to change your state religion, and the Feniexian Empire will spend massive amounts of money to restore your lands and bring back your former glory to you.
Choose wisely.

OOC: I don't know how you just came across working tanks so I am assuming my train still works.
IC:
The stormtrooper bodyguards lay mangled on the ground. The only one that survived was Lieutenant Alexander and one other stormtrooper that scrambled into the car as the sandbags blew up. Isabella was unharmed, probably because the Baltijans were at least gentlemanly enough not to hurt a woman. Horatio had a cut across his right arm and across his left cheek, but he was still capable of running to the train. Horatio was well-read, and though the engineer was dead, he had some knowledge of how to work a train. He ran to the car facing the direction back to Myroria and began to drive away with the survivors.
In Klaipeda, a bustling city captured from Baltija shortly after it fell, the Klaipeda Stormtrooper Divison (We name our divisions after the cities they are headquartered at), the Klaipeda Armored Division, and the Klaipeda Infantry Division were preparing for invasion.

"Ma tao zhi."
"Ita"
The Ozian Staii Fighters located their train target and fired a Air to ground missile at it. They turned their planes right as they saw the missile directly hit the train. Then on their radios the received more transmissions from the Baltijan militias. This time near an abandoned city. They fired tank buster missiles at the abrams and then opened machine gun fire on the helicopters.
-
OOC: Act of war much?
-
Slowly, then Abrams stopped, and started moving backward, still firing, but trying to cover themselves near buildings. Some of the helicopters are launching missiles, but mainly, they are covering too. ADATS tanks are preparing to fire out of moore-or-less-protected places.
"Squad Zephir - 5,6,7,8 - Coordinates transmitted; come ASAP. Order 45. Order 45." Yashimo yelled trough his ComLink.
"General. They are not Baltijan militias. They are Ozians."
"Look like they want to claim some land too. Order supportments. Try to contact the ozian government."
Myriel ordered. "We won´t loose."

In Ozian
"You got some interceptors coming towards you." yelled the radio. The pilots looked at their radar relay from ground stations."
"Poly-Static correct?" said the pilot in his microphone.
"Correct, I recommend R-37, they're coming in fast."
"Thank you station-7, I have target on radar."
The pilot placed a lock on one of the radar targets, activated the warhead, and then activated the missile's anti-jam systems. The missile dropped out of the Staii-7 and then did a quick turn back at full speeds. His partner had done the same. The area they were going to was considered a No fly zone to the Baltijans.
"Staii inbound, Sending out ping."
The ping gave access as the planes continued to go throw the no fly zone.
monitors of Missile lock had died out.

In Eluvatar, Peté Tar-Ilium walked angrily up to the podium of the Hall of the Dunedain. "I am simply disgusted, disgusted that our Presiding Steward has chosen to go ahead with this policy without the consent of this Hall. Does he not remember the evils of the Baltijans? Does he not remember how their government gathered weapons and oppressed its citizens? How can we justify providing arms to them?"
Aldacir Matanatar, Second Dunedain of Eldalondë looked coldly at Tar-Ilium and said, "Guardian I request that Tar-Ilium's statement be stricken from the record on grounds of a conflict of Interest. It is his Kingdom, his so-called Imperium which is engaging in the atrocious and unjustified invasion of our southern neighbor."
Metanir Elendili, Third Dunedain of Ilium responded heatedly "Guardian I object to this request! Tar-Ilium has every right to make his stance known as a leading member of this Hall!"
The debate continued for hours, days, weeks, while Eluvataran tanks and planes continued to be 'sold' to 'freedom-fighters,' while Eluvataran 'advisors' poured across the border...
-
Disgruntled at his loss in the Hall of the Dunedain, the Consul of the United Imperium, Peté Tar-Ilium, returned to his Grand Imperial Residence in Myroria in the small town of Quarrovth outside Pelagis. Sitting at his desk in his study, poring over map after map, he decided that the cause in Baltija was lost, and he would look east - east to South Taijitu. Much as his counterpart in Ryazania, Consul Robert II, had done, he aimed for ports before land. He quickly devised a plan for the land he wanted to own, and showed it to his advisors. They all agreed that it was more seemly to control the sea before controlling the land, and a place to view the vile republicans of the Democratic States.
He handed the parchment to an advisor.
"Summon me Hupprecht Patrick."
-
A Feniexian Private ran down the street, signalizing with a white flag that the Feniexian army is wanting to settle down this coflict diplomatically.
-
A Baltijan with his rifle on his shoulder walked down the road with this Zuavka cigar in his mouth. When he came to the guy with the flag he said to him, "You surrender to the Baltijan Militia?"
-
OOC: Myroria's part in this RP is now closed. PM me if you want to RP with me and I'll consider it.
Also, I've moved the expansion site near Pelargir. (http://img506.imageshack.us/img506/8060/expansion1bj6.png)
IC: Hupprecht Patrick's ship, the HAIMS Discovery II slowly approached the shore. The beach was a grey color, and behind it was a forest of conifer trees. He closed his spyglass.
"Helmsman! Stop 'er!"
The ship drifted to a stop, and Hupprecht directed his men onto lifeboats. His headwrap had been traded in for a beaver-skin hat, and his parka for a light fur jacket. Hupprecht's repeated expeditions to the far corners of the planet had earned him the title Marshall of the Conquesteurs, and several medals. He took a swig of his jug of beer before climbing into the lifeboat. The lifeboat was pushed away from the Discovery II and it, along with five others, rowed to shore. When they arrived some men in fur with painted faces emerged from the forest. They talked in their native language for a bit before one came forward.
"You Khaali?"
"No. Are you?"
"No."
"Then who are you?"
"We Trabnaki. You?"
"Myrorian."
"Myrorian want see our village?"
"Yes. That'd...that'd be nice."
"Goodgood."
The men were led into a small village, about the size of a Myrorian small town. The church, however, had been replaced with a soothsayer, and the fountain with a fire.
"This Trabnaki village. Myrorian like it?"
"Yes, it's very nice."
The man looked pleased. The villagers were looking at the pale white men who came there. Most had seen the occasional Khaaliman on patrol or hike, but these didn't look Khaali.
"Myrorian want eat?"
"Yes, yes please."
The group and natives had friendly banter and friend (and love) making for several nights before the natives could be called allies. When the group had to leave, they told the natives that they considered them real friends, but had to move on.
But not all the natives would be so peace loving.
-
The exhausted Feniexian quickly handed over a PDA. "Speak to our leader, General Yashimo-san."
A picture of a very old, japanese-looking man in white uniform with black jacket appeared on the screen.
"Thou are greeted. Are I speaking to a baltian citizen? Please stop all military actions, as we do. We have some things to clear out. Like, why none of your government never contacted us as your allies. Can you take this PDA to one of your leaders please?"
-
(http://news.bbc.co.uk/olmedia/1460000/images/_1461661_soldiersafp150.jpg)
The Ozian who was in charge of the Baltijan Militia received the PDA.
"Hello and who am I speaking to? What do you want? What are you doing here? Why are you invading this area?"
-
"My name is Yashimo Akira, I´m the leader of the Feniexian army divisions in your country.
As we heard nothing from your nation for a long time, we begun to seek your lands for any signs of life. We only saw destroyed cities and streets...so we thought Baltija were destroyed by war or similar.... We apologize frankly for trying to claim your lands. We just thought, better we claim this lands to settle them as someone else do. We didn´t know that there were still people left."
-
"Well there is Mr. Akira... I would hope you would be smart and leave this area or you will wake up to a hell the next morning. You'd have Staii shooting all over you. Resistance is Futile."
-
"As there are still Baltijans in this area, we surely will leave, but a few diplomats to clear this situation...we don´t want to harm the Baltijan people neither invade them."
OOC: Since Yashimo is a japanese man, he speak out his name like in the japanese language:
surname first. The first name is only used by impolite or foreign, or between children or close friends...
-
"No Diplomats, I don't want to see a Feniexian on this land at all."
-
"Hmm...ok. But you might regret to refuse us sometimes..."
Yashimo disappeared from the screen. The Feniexian soldier took back the PDA and ran back to his comrades.
Not even one hour later, the Feniexian air transporters begun transporting the Feniexian army hime.
