(this technically takes place after my Gladiatorial games rp, cause.. it wouldn't work otherwise)
The Vast landscape of the Immortal Imperium estate spread from the heliport the guests arrived at. In each direction were acres upon acres of Vineyards, distilleries and storehouses. In one field a vast crop of opiums were being harvested (they are 100% legal and a very popular way to pass the time). A road led from the heliport to a main road, in one direction a private airport, and the other the ancient city of Roma in the distance. Massive ancient works and statues next to modern skyscrapers and architecture. In the other direction was the Vila main complex.
Seven buildings were part of the complex, in the center the main house toward. The structure dominated the landscape stretching in all direction the main entrance a vast marble stair case and doors, Statues some over 2,000 years old lined the entry, works by the greatest artists of the ancient world were in open view. Exotic Animals from all over the ancient empire walked about, they had been bread in Irnotia in different zoo's and areas since the lands were taken and lost long ago. Marble columns held the highly crafted archways and roofs.
Praetorian Guards flanked the complex, each stood unmoving, each ready to die for the Immortal Imperium and her family, each ready to slay anyone who was a threat. Each gave a Irnotian Salute as the visitors moved past. Servants dressed in the finest clothing opened the massive doors of the Main house.
Once opened they were welcomed to the view of art from great artists and ancient masters. Paintings and statues filed the front entrance, more guards stood everywhere. IF one looked carefully one would notice security cameras had been watching every movement since they landed. In front of them stood a woman of about 23 years of age. She was very fair and beautiful, her hair down. Her white dress flowed down form her, servants and assistance flanked her. On her head a small gold ring, the crown of the Imperium rested
“Greetings my name is Lina Ceaser, I am the Imperium and your hostess, I welcome you to my home and to Irnotia.”

OOC: This takes place before Crofts meets for the LCF conference.
IC:
Crofts lifted his right hand, and slowly motioned it downward to tell the seven Major-Generals to relax.
"Happy to be here" he responded.
"Your nation is a beautiful one.
Allow me to introduce my wife, Natalie."
Natalie Crofts came forward, dressed in a women's business suite, and shock the Imperium's hand.
"And my daughter Melissa" he continued.
Melissa, sixteen, came forward, barley cracked a smile, and quietly responded "hello Ma'am."
"Your Imperium" Crofts continued, "I need to get to the LCF Conference. I hope that my family appreciates your hospitality."

She smiled and nodded to Crofts "Thank you, and that is fine, go meet the Imperator he is a fine man. I will entertain your family, they are my guests."
the Imperium turned her face glowing softly and warmly. She looked at the daughter "Hello Melissa was it, your a attractive young girl. You look to be about the age of my Brother, Maybe you two can hang out together."
Smiling, she raised her arms "Welcome to my house, this is the largest Estate in Irnotia. It was built before even Augustus, one of the oldest estates in the world. but that's not the fun stuff is it"
She turned walking "Perhaps lady croft will like to join me on a walk in my gardens, they are very lovely aroma and in bloom, then we can just talk and get to know each other. Melissa, my brother is down that hall, the servants shall take you to him, he is with his trainer right now."

"Of course I would" Natalie responded.
"Melissa" she continued, "why don't you follow the guards to meet the brother of the Imperium."
"Alright" Melissa responded, less then excited to be there. She hated good-will trips.

Arilues Turned fast to dodge the sword. The sweat dripped off his body, on his left arm his armor glisten, in his right his gripped his sword. He leaped back his gladiatorial garments flowed as he stepped to dodge the sword. Raising his knee he slammed it into the chest of his sparing partner, the man flew into the air and fell on his back, he spun his blade around and pointed it at the neck of his foe. He smiled and stepped back, his hair pulled back tight. He laughed as he turned around, he stopped as he saw a strange girl, not that bad looking if he said so himself standing their. He walked towards her and put his sword on the table with many other blades and weapons, picking up a bottle in his armored hand and a towel he approached the girl.
he began to try and pad off the sweat from his body
“hello.. you must be from that group my sister is meeting, my name is Arilues... who are you”

"Oh geeze" Melissa squeaked, turning around quickly.
"I didn't realize you weren't dressed."
Still, the image of his fit body was burned in her mind, whether she wanted to admit it to herself or not.

he looked down a bit at what he was wearing "what you talking about girl, I am dressed, this is what my style of combat gladiators wear. If I don't want to get my ass cut in half I need to be used to wearing it. So turn around, Its not that nice to not tell a guy your name if he asks?"
He cleaned his hands so they were no longer sweaty, and put his arm out to shake hers "so come on, whats your name don't leave me waiting here"
on the edge of the room men in full boy chem suits and armed to the teeth stood watching every movement, and in the pit he was just fighting men moved about cleaning it. One man dressed smiler to Arilues walked around, another wearing full armor and a battle ax was talking to him, besides the guards they didn't seem to really notice the girl who had arrived.

Well at least put something on for my benefit she thought to herself.
Melissa slowly turned around.
"Sor..sorry, we don't have gladiators at home."
She hesitantly shook his hand.
"Melissa Crofts, nice to meet you."

He grasped her fore arm and smilled, releasing it he spoke up "You dont got any, my gods, how do you entertain yourselves. No greater entertainment then two humans crasped in mortal combate, its a true sight to behold."
He turned around and waved "by the way, you got an odd name"
He picked up a bathrobe that was sitting on one of the tables, swigning it around he put it on "here, it seemed my attire was a bit diffrent for ya, hope this makes ya feel better."
He started to lead the girl that if he was honest was rather attractive, if a bit off it seemed "So what do you do where ever you come from if their is no mortal combate going on?"

"Um...a weird name? Melissa's a weird name? Arilues isn't normal from back home you know.
And we don't need to kill each other to have a good time. Football, rugby, and cricket are perfectly entertaining sports, and no one dies."

"I got a rather common name. And most gladiator fights don't end in death, nah, its the possibility of death that's a blast. I don't want to just watch any more, I want to get in the show."
He turned around with a smile "its like sex, so much better doing it then watching"

"Don't you have to have sex before you can say stuff like that?"

his mouth just dropped when she said that "well yea... that's why I said it... so wait...are you saying... that you..."
he paused to gather his thoughts "are you a virgin or something?"
it had never crossed his mind that a girl her age and looks would not have had sex, I mean this was the modern world... hell the ancient world she would have had sex... It was sex...

"You mean your not?" she asked astonished.
"I mean, you never to an Abstinence Pledge?" she asked, taking a red "A" pin off of her VPYL uniform and giving it to him.

he took the pin a bit confused "Abstinence? that's like killing your soul or something. I think i lost my virginity when i was 13 or something, cant really remember. what the heck is a Abstinence Pledge?"
He looks at the weird letter A that the girl had handed her, it was a strange curio

"In my country when you turn 13 you have to take an Abstinence Pledge that's good until you turn 18. I thought all civilized countries did stuff like this. How else do you keep unwanted pregnancies and rape under control?"
Melissa suddenly became aware she sounded like one of the propaganda films she had seen.
"I mean, um, why would you have to do it before your 18?"

he just scratched his head, this girl was really weird nothing he had ever seen before "answer your last thing first.. cause its fun and it can also express love you have for someone, also feels really good."
he kinda smiled, then kept going "now to answer the first thing. Well we keep it down two ways, first if you need sex, even if you cant get any by your own merits just hop on down to the local brothel and have your self a go. And if you try to rape someone, we take it rather serious, most are either killed or sent out of our nation to one of our prisons. hell find evidence of vaginal tearing and DNA and pop your gone no question."
He laughed a bit realized it probably wasn't the best time... and stopped.
"and now to your first part, to me denying someone the most basic human emotion and instinct sounds... kinda barbaric.. I mean an abortian or orphanage can deal with the pregnancy and such."
He rocked his head to the side a bit "your a weird girl you know, kinda cool I guess, but weird"

I guess back home sex is kind of something adults do, like smoke or drink alcohol. You would never find a brothel in Inglo-Scotia, well one that wasn't in danger of being raided any way.
I mean when your mad killing someone may feel good, but that doesn't mean you have to do it..." she noticed the sword.
"Never mind" she said, blushing.

He laughed at her embarrassment "You don't kill in a gladiatorial fight cause your mad, and its not easy to do. The first time I killed a man after submission I was devastated, cause I had been on the ground before with a blade to my neck, and all it takes is a little difference in a thumb to live or die. "
He stretched then continued "but whats so magic about turning 18, its just a date. its not like flying stars circle you as you jump into the air and you body radically changes. Its just one more day in your life, why shouldn't you enjoy what the gods have given ya. I mean looking at ya I can tell your mature enough at least physically for sex, just be safe about it and have fun. Hell around here contraception and stuff is free."
He turned walking a bit more down the hall "but you've never had any alcohol? how weird. Hell around here you start drinking as soon as you start eating at a table. Wine is a whole world onto its own, to even become part of the highest class of society you need to own your own vineyard."
He paused thinking for a moment "your on a sorta vacation, you need to have a glass of wine"

Melissa was shocked. No boy at home would say these kind of things, about sex, about her being "old enough." That was enough to get a week in a re-education camp.
She overcame that though.
"No, I've had alcohol before" she said, taking the glass.
"The drinking age at home is sixteen."

He poured himself a glass from the bottle and corked it “16, they really make you wait that long, sounds horrid. You know what, while your here as my guest, I'm showing you what girls your age are enjoying In my neck of the woods. First we will tip back a few glasses maybe smoke a cutter, you probably don't know what those are but trust me, they are fun. We going to go to some clubs have some fun and tonight ill show you some of the harder stuff right off the fields.”
He laughed “ and to be fair tomorrow you show me what teens do in your end of the world, sound like a deal?”

The Immortal Imperium walked with the Wife of Croft, in her garden, they came to a table with different wines and fine little treats to munch on. She sat and invited her guest to join “I know I am rather young but I have in fact been in this position of power since I was at the young age of 15, I never got to enjoy the traditional Teenage fun that my brother is enjoying.”
She took a sip of one of the glasses of wine “but perhaps tonight you would like to see some of the high culture Roma has to offer. There is a great play going on down town you may enjoy, its a rendition of an ancient tale of the gods that dates back to at least 320 United Era or so. The cast has many great performers in it”

Melissa walked around the room slowly, before stopping.
"Drugs are illegal in the Commonwealth...." then a mischievous look came across her face.
"But I'm not in the Commonwealth. Sure, why not? That is if your up to watching a cricket game on the telly."

He laughed at her answer, poured another glass of wine and got out a box, on the top of it was a man blowing a smoke ring, and and small words saying "take a break not a crash"
Opining the box he pulled out two long pipes and put in some of the Cutter in each, he light both of them. "This stuff is really light so it shouldn't buzz ya to much"
He handed one to her and the other he took himself "Enjoy, after this I'm going to take a fast shower and get dressed for the clubs and see if you got any good clothing for it."
taking a draw he smiled looking at the girl he was going to show a world she probably never knew even existed to

"Can't I just go like this?" she asked, showing him her Victorious Pioneers Youth League uniform.

He looked at her and laughed "oh dear god no. I cant go to a club with someone dressed like that, alright before we go clubbing, we are taking you to shop, I guess ill give you some Cutter on the way to the shop. Ill be right back from my shower, and we are going to take you shopping."
He laughed and then turned into a room closed the door behind him, and started the water and started his shower...

The Imperator Stood from her bench her guest looking up to her "Perhaps before the concert tonight you would like to see some of the art and history of this City?"

"Yes, that would be lovely" Natalie responded.

"What does he mean I can't go out like this? What's wrong with a VPYL uniform?....on the other hand, I would like to go shopping in an Inrotian mall..."
She turned around to see him getting out of the shower.
She quickly turned away again.
"You know, your culture really could use a few more doors."

He laughed as he got changed, not bothering really to close the door. After a bit he slid behind her wearing silver pants with a vest no shirt and sun glasses, putting his hands on her shoulders causing a slight jump "Who needs doors when you got so much fun things to look out. I'm taking you shopping. You need something to make you look sexy. Show off what you got, a girl should hide it in that type of outfit"
He laughed as he walked down the house towards the garage "now come on we need to pick a ride"
As she followed 6 of the Praetorian guards each looking the same as the next came in line. "And sadly they will also be coming..."

"Um, I'm kind of new to your nation. Would you mind if we did something less public? Like a walk, or something?"

"hmmm... if you insist. I'm not dressed for a walk but my sister is always saying I need to spend more time in the gardens."
He quickly turned and started walking to the other side of the house "alright, lets just take a walk if ya want. This way to the big plenty things... I haunt been out here in years"
with a laugh he opened to door revealing a massive sprawl of plants and flowers from all over the world. The beautiful display painstakingly cared for. Many of these flowers been blooming and growing for over 1000 years. The vast Estates Gardens laid down in front of the two teens like a dream.
He turned to her holding out his hand “So lets go explore this shall we?”

"Wow..." Melissa trailed off.
"Victory Gardens is nothing like this...."
She ran up to a magnolia.
"Oh, I love these! Daddy is able to get some from time to time, but we can't grow them back home, the weather isn't right for them."

He laughs a bit “Ive never really thought about it, we got nice weather year round here, lots of flower and stuff grow. Supposedly this shit was started by my family even before Augustus was born...almost two thousand years ago or something. I don't know, I was never a plant person.”
He looked at her sniffing the flowers, she was attractive but so much different then any girl he had been with. A lot... well calmer and reserved. “My Sister is always walking around here when she isn't doing that Immortal Imperium shit she does.”
Walking up next to her he looked at her face smiling at the flowers “I think there is a hedge maze or something in here as well if you want to find it. Augustus's Wife is Buried in the Center of it. I think”
Laughing he leaned back thinking how horrid his own knowledge was of the ground he had lived on his entire life “What ever you want to walk to”

"Yeah, I would love to take a look at the hedge maze, we have one back home, there's a giant red 'V' in the centre made out of roses."

He started walking laughing a bit leading her towards the Hedge maze. As they walked to the front of it he turned around “It means a womans sexuality, the vaginae. ”
He broke out laughing at this not able to hold it in any more

"What?!?!" Melissa was shocked, both at hearing the emblem of her nation described like that, and for Arilues' apparent lack of manners.
"It's....it's...it's a symbol of the Victorious Revolution, my father's victory over the emperor."

Arilues Snickered for a bit before speaking “I'm sorry, Its just really different then around here. We haven't had a revolution really ever or a change of government in any ways since 13 A.R.”
He quickly bowed in front of her in the formal manner crossing his arm in the way of a Irnotian Elite, his vest flapping open as he did it, when he rose he put his hand out offering it to his guest “Accept my Apology Miss V, and we shall go searching for my dead Ancestor in this great maze of plant life if you will accept my company”

Melissa was taken back. No one had ever dismissed her father or his accomplishments so inconsequently.
"So...a family member, he's buried somewhere in here?"

"yeah.. somewhere in hear supposedly its a really attractive place or something. I've never really gone out here. According to the story its the lover of the Emperor who encouraged him to do the things he did. Namely change the wording of his title from Leader for life to just Leader. So he would rule after he died."
Grabbing her hand and pulling her along he began to run into the massive ancient hedge maze "lets go find the old lady"

While the two teens began to explore the grounds hedge maze, the Immortal Imperium took Natalie Croft to an art museum in the vast ancient city of Roma. She was only 23 years old but had been the spiritual ruler of the nation for 8 years. She did not have the time to enjoy things that others her age in this hedonistic nation enjoyed, instead she took a woman over 10 years older then her to different historic sites in the nation.

Melissa stumbled as Arilues pulled her threw the maze.
Then a wild idea invaded her mind.
She slipped her hand from his grasp and ducked behind a hedge somewhat obscured due to some overgrowth in the foliage.
"Hey!" the Inrotian price called out.
"Where'd you go?"
"Tell you what, you find that out for yourself" Melissa answered, a playful mood overtaking her.

Arilues laughed as he lost the girl. "What the hell, why not"
With a clap he started after the girl chasing her around the vast hedge-maze. He hadn't done anything like this since before his parents died. It was rather fun just running after her like this.
"I'm going to catch ya!"

Melissa ducked behind a hedge. She watched as the Inrotian price search for her. She saw her chance.
As his back was turned she made a dash to an other hedge, only to trip over her own two feet. At that moment Arilues turned and attempted to catch her.
The two teens lay there, face to face. Suddenly without any thought to it at all, Melissa softly, and quickly, kissed the Inrotian on the lips.

Arilues just looked up, a shocked look on his face... She had just kissed him... and he kinda liked it...
"you just kissed me"
Melissa just looked down at him her face turning beat red from what just happened "I aum.. It... I..."
she is cute...
As she stammered he leaned forward and embraced her in a deep kiss. Pulling back he just looked at her, a little red blush on his face "That wasn't to bad..."

Melissa giggled a little.
"I guess not."
"So..." she continued, "is that your sword, or you just having a fun time?"

why do I feel different about this girl. Ive been with them before, alot of them. yet... I don't want this to be just a fling...
"Well... who cant have a good time with you"
He just laughed a bit at his bad line... normally he was alot... smoother but he didn't seem to care now. with a smile he put his arm around her with a laugh. Looking around "Also... you happened to know where you ran. I have no idea where we are in this thing"

Melissa got up and looked around.
"You live here, don't you know how to get out?"

Getting up and feeling a little embarrassed he looks around "I haven't been around here since my parents... well Its been along time since I actually came in here."
Looking around he noticed himself looking at the girl who had just kissed him and less at the maze around him "At least the company is good"

Melissa blushed.
"Likewise..." she responded.
"Well we should probably find a way out of here. I mean this place is basically a tomb, right?"

With a smile Arilues took her hand and began to walk around the maze "It is kinda a tomb, but we don't really see it as someplace evil or sacred. Its a place of remembrance and to celebrate the woman who steered Augustus to glory."
He looked at Melissa a bit before continuing "There could be worse places to get lost. Ever gets to bad I can call the Praetorian"
