"Damn it, where is the field marshall? Never mind, just find the snipers." General Erik Redd called out orders. Tanks turned in all directions. Soldiers picked up their guns. "I found them!" yelled out a Barakarin soldier. "They're in the buildings across from us!" General Redd yelled out orders. "Level the buildings! Now!" Tanks opened up on the buildings and in few seconds, they came tumbling down. General Redd looked around. "Alright, the celebration is over. I want all units to spread out and find any Nationalists in the city. Get me the palace. I want the Kaiserin, the Chancellor and all members of Parliament to be sent to Halifax now!" Soon, the city erupted as gunfire was exchanged all over the city.

We appreciate you allowing us to test out the weapon. An evaluation of ours is that it might be hard to us the weapon in a forested area, maybe large clearings and fields. We will send the ADDs back on the first transport to your country.

The Entire NCG was being slowly pushed back into a line of shops. They began barricading it, and putting up what ever cover they could use. After the first night there, the Major tried to reach the Candians through telephone, but the Wire had been cut. Before they hit the shops, all of there radios were destroyed. So, the NCG settled down to hold this area from the Nationalists.

Colonel Geers was leading his men through the streets. The capital was all but destroyed. He heard nearby gunshots. He turned towards the sound. "Alright men, let's go find some Nationalists. The field marshall wants us to clean them out of the city. They saw a group of Nationalists. The Colonel cried out "Fire!" The Canadians opened up on the Nationalists hardly had any time to react. They were killed to the last.

The Major was yelling to the Canadians. He was trying them to stop firing , because right behind the behind the Nationalists where the NCG. The soldiers inside the line of stores where waving the Barakarin flag, making sure the Canadians saw them.

Colonel Geers saw the Barakarin flag. "Stop, Cease Fire. Those are our allies over there. Bayonet charge!" Charge!" The Canadians charged with their bayonets. The Nationalists couldn't fight well in hand-to-hand, so the Canadians soon overran them. Some surrendered and they were taken back to where the prisoners were going. Colonel Geers walked over to the Barakarins. "Sir Major Stone, I am Colonel Geers, sent here by Field Marshall Rommel. Do you have any wounded? Here's our medic. The Field Marshall wants us to know that the rebels are slowly being defeated, but we need to do more. The largest group is in the city's center. There is already troops there fighting, but they need reinforcements. Since we are closer, I'm ordering you and your men to follow us to reinforce the troops in the center."

"My men will gladly follow you, and we have wounded over in that Cafe."

The NCG and Canadians pressed in to the City Center, and began to cut down the Nationalists with well placed shots. Mortar's from Barakarins mortar team did monstrous work to the Nationalists positions. After a few hours of heavy fighting, Major Paul Stone and Colonel Geers set a all-out charge. The NCG manged to reach the Position's first, at got into Heavy Hand to Hand Combat.

Fighting was everywhere. Colonel Geers was fighting with sword-bayonet and pistol. The pistol killed many men and the sword-bayonet cut many down. The Nationalists were faltering. They couldn't hold any longer. But it didn't matter, it was die fighting, or surrender and be killed anyway. The Colonel was in the middle of the fighting urging his men on, when he felt as if someone just punched him in the chest. A Nationalist had shot the colonel. The colonel collapsed. That bit of luck, gave the Nationalists their morale back, and the Canadian line was the one that was faltering.

Field Marshal Rommel rode through the city on his tank. The gunfire slowly fell silent. The Nationalists were finally defeated. He took his helmet off as soldiers marched through the streets waving Canadian flags and burning the Nationalist flags. The people cheered from their windows and hung pictures of the Kaiser and Marshal Rommel from their windows. That night, fireworks flew above the city and songs erupted all over Winnipeg. Marshal Rommel and Major Paul stood watching the fireworks over Parliament Hall. Rommel pulled a letter from his pocket. "I got this message from the Barkarin government, regarding something that I had asked." The Major looked at him strangley. "I had asked your government to promote you to the rank Lt.Colonel. They agreed with me, when I said that you have a good career ahead of you. In this war, you showed yourself to be a brillant tactitican. So, when you get back to Barakarin, you will be a lt.colonel and also you will be the first ever honorary citizen of Canada."

the Major, now lt.colonel, was speechless. All he could say was thank you friend. He got up and walked over to his men. The Men fell silent, then they began cheering. After all, they saved Canadians lives, avenged a family, and Brought peace to the Nation. The troops slapped each other on the back and gave things from home to there leader. The bagpiper's began plaing as best as they could, and the tank fired there machine guns into the air. The Lt. Colonel called his wife, letting her know what happened. Then, he received the best news of all, he was a father. He looked at his men, and knew they were going to get a hero's welcome.
