Umm... OC, have you listened to the lyrics of Justin's songs? I for one find them offencively sexist and shallow if anything. And you know nothing of my taste in music either, so I won't even answer that one.

I'm sorry you exspect pop music to have moving lyrics.  Thats like saying Transformers is a shitty movie for having a crappy plot, no one disputes the fact that the plot was shit, but you were looking for the wrong thing in the wrong genre of film.  For what it is Transformers is a good movie.  Not everything is deep and has double meanings, sometimes you just have to take things for what they are.  IMO pop music, and Justin Timberlake is catchy, and enjoyable to listen to.

If you take offence that is one thing, but to write off his entire discography because you think the lyrics are skin deep (which they are) is a bit absurd to me.

Also, I said your taste in music is shallow because you would want to eliminate work that people enjoy.

I think that's a bit hypocritical.  I'm pretty sure there's some music that you think the world would be better off without, or at least has no need for, on the basis that you don't like it.  And from what I know about Emp, I suspect it was more jest that desire.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but this is all off topic, so you should probably be getting back to, *sigh* the proposed topic for this thread.

"Vanity! is my favorite sin."  My favorite line from that movie. I love Al Pacino's overacting. ^_^
