The Thread to End All Threads
« on: June 13, 2007, 03:15:06 PM »
Well, actually, to end all the excessive randomness in other threads. In other words,

Welcome to the Thread of Ultimate Randomnessosity!

That's a word.

And oh yeah, not meant for spamming, but rather all discussions that would seem off-topic in other threads. So basically, this is the off-off-topic thread.

I'll start this off by asking Larry, what part of England are you from?

I, good sir, hail from the countryside village of Scarisbrick, close to the slightly larger town of Ormskirk, which is near the much more famous city of Southport, in North West England.

Despite its relative obscurity, I recently discovered that Scarisbrick has its own page on Wikipedia.

Why do you wish to know?

Larry, because my brother lives in the same country as you do and you share the same birthday. I've had stranger coincidences.

And you might've been him.

As a matter of fact, I do, although most people I know consider it to be a boring place. Note how that website has been abandoned for nearly a year. But I'm not a very social guy, so I like the isolation.

Kent Island looks great too. Um, hooray for the birthplace of Elbert N. Carvel?

Well, have you seen him much in the past few years? I don't have a very good memory, so I could well be the same guy.

This is going to sound really stupid, but what is/was the Lexicon?
"I believe every single person is extraordinary. The tragedy is that we
have a society where too many people never get to fulfill that
extraordinary potential. My view – the liberal view – is that
government’s job is to help them to do it. Not to tell people how to
live their lives. But to make their choices possible, to release their
potential, no matter who they are. The way to do that is to take power away from those who hoard it. To challenge vested interests. To break down privilege. To clear out the bottlenecks in our society that block opportunity and block progress. And so give everyone a chance to live the life they want." - Nick Clegg, Leader of the Liberal Democrats and Deputy Prime Minister of the United Kingdom

It's another region.  Taijitu split off from it way back when.  And why didn't you put this question in the Help Desk?  Do you WANT us to be lonely in there?  I know, I know.  Forget allllllll about us.  Don't bring us coffee and say "How's the weather?"  *sniff*

Because I'm insane but not stupid and hence I allow my dreams to live on and prosper. I'm also an extraordinary narrator and writer and thus capable to move the masses.
